Quite the opposite, quoting 15 minutes probably was because they just rushed through it. Husband got a small halibut burrito and all the meat was moved to one side. No, you can't even say that it's how it was being eaten that it collected to the bottom. It was a poorly put together burrito. I got my usual naked halibut burrito and it was not worth the money. It seems to be a growing trend for Burrito Boyz to have smaller and smaller pieces of fish. Quality and quantity are so questionable. I would describe the pieces of fish as what was left over floating in the fryer. The batter wasn't crispy and the fish wasn't flaky, it was rubbery and chewy. We don't go out often because of the pandemic and aren't near any Burrito Boyz, so when we're near one you would think it's a treat. This last visit wasn't that.

I came in here thinking I was about to immerse myself in authentic Mexican culture and cuisine…read more Wow, where do I even begin with this place? All the employees were INDIAN! If I wanted to be served by brown people, I would eat at a local roti restaurant. When I lived in New York, I used to have the best Mexican food fare. When I came back to Canada, I had a hard time finding a single authentic one. Indian workers, because of International Student Visas, have spread like cockroaches and I can't seem to get away from them. All I want is to enjoy a good quality quesadilla or burrito. Instead, I was served by what brown people can only imagine what a quesadilla or burrito is. Also, these people are strangers to hygiene and sanitation. I seriously doubt they ever washed their hands coming back from the washroom. I'm not asking these international students to do wuduh but I am all too familiar with the poor hygienic practices of Hindis, Marathis, Gujaratis, Rajasthani and Sindhis. Just as Italian food should be made by Italians, I really think Mexican food should be prepared by Mexicans. Overall, the food was gross, burnt and I had to vomit afterwards! At one point, I had to pull out a long strand of hair from my mouth mid-meal. I would have asked for a refund but the workers could barely speak English.

The carne asada itself was delicious but similar comments with the crispy shrimp that it was too saucy. I got the chicken naked burrito bowl and opted for guac instead of shredded cheese (around $14.50 for both). It was my first time seeing that as an option since guac is almost always an extra at most other burrito places. I came during my work lunch break and was a bit tight on time. The location was easy to find and had a good 5 - 8 parking spots in front of it, which is great as Streetsville often has tricky-behind-the-building/limited parking. The staff finish my order super quick so I'm able to rush home and actually eat it. In terms of the food itself, my chicken naked burrito bowl was great. It was hot when I got it, and the portions were huge. The guac portion was big, and there was more than enough sour cream, salsa, etc. No shortage of sauce at all. There was lots of chicken, almost more than the rice beneath it, which was a nice surprise. Burrito bowls are always quite filling, but this one was really filling due to all the sauce. Easily 2 meals even if you're a big eater. The chicken and rice were seasoned nicely, a bit more subtle compared to other places. The recipe let the flavour of the meat shine through and felt more hearty, whereas other burrito places seem to use more spices. The whole bowl was very fresh and I liked how much sauce there was as it made the bowl feel less dry. Also, I found the balance of hot vs cold between the chicken/rice and salad/sour cream/guac halves of the bowl really nice and not something you usually get in burrito bowls. Overall, a great experience, I'll definitely be back to try a burrito or similar next time I'm in the area.
