XXX Burrito is hands down the best Burrito in Hamilton! Prices are much cheaper than the various chain restaurants in the city. They have lots of excellent vegan and vegetarian options. Have eaten here a number of times now as well as other Burrito places in and around the city. As one who has traveled extensively in many cities with a heavy Mexican population like Houston, San Jose etc, I miss terribly being able to find any quality Mexican food let alone ANY Mexican food. The staff have always been cordial and helpful, the quality of the food and portions fantastic. The only thing that prevents a 5 Stat rating is that their Noah's Ark Burrito is only available on the weekend. GREAT place! Nice staff. The regular size burrito was HUGE. Nice amount of toppings to choose from and quite the variety of hot sauces! Would have given it a 5 but they didn't have ground beef as a meat option. I got the chicken instead. Nice breast meat no fat or skin. Decent burritos, we got the pulled pork and the regular chicken. The pulled pork was really really salty, so salty I couldn't eat it. My wife's chicken was very bland and had no seasoning. Over all I wouldn't recommend this place there's other spots with better burritos. I'm in California a lot so no I know a good burrito. Sucks because i really had high hopes for this place read more

Hands down the best burritos in town, makes burrito boys look like a joke. Strongly suggest going for there Friday Noah's ark.

Got the steak on white, the guy making it didn't wash his hands or put gloves on right after being on his phone but lets hope he has good hygiene, the tortilla they use is nice and they toast it crispy which is good, but unfortunately there is a weird taste to the burrito i don't know if it was the beans or burrito sauce, it didn't taste like a burrito i asked him to mix the burrito up before wrapping it, that way the extra hot sauce is mixed in with everything he said he would then just wrapped it, maybe that affected it cause most spots tasted bland with a bad taste then other spots would light my mouth up like a mother but had good taste to it, it could of been better if the taste was more consistent didn't get half way through it then chucked it and made a mr noodle, he didn't care about the food i got i guess but would defiantly recommend bar burrito over this place read more

This place is absolutley disgusting. I have been here once and will never go again for 2 reasons. Firstly the service is attrocious. There was some younger jerk behind the counter making burritos. He was rude and disrespectful to his female coworker and when I was there he literally yelled at me for not "ordering right". I had even said when we first arrived and were deciding what to order that I had never been there before so wasn't familiar with thier process or ordering. Not to mention it doesnt even make sense the way he does it where he reads off every single ingredient and you say whether you want them or not. When I only wanted lettuce, cheese, tomato, guac and salsa isn't it just easier for me to tell you that rather than you reading everything on the list and me saying no, no, no, no. Stupid! Anyways...then the 2nd reason I will never return is the quality of food. I wouldn't even serve it to a dog let alone think its fit for human consumption. The burrito was more than 50% rice, the steak was completely inedible, it was tough, chewy and absolutely flavourless and there wasn't much of it, the salsa looked like red water, the guac was all brown and not fresh. I also dont like that you can't see the ingredients or them preparing it the way you can at other burrito stands which doesnt allow you to see the quality of the toppings or to ask for a bit more of something if they were sparse with the toppings. We got home I literally ate 3 bites and it wasn't getting any better the closer to the centre of the burrito I got so I threw it out and ate a bowl of cereal for dinner instead. There is absolutley no reason to go here with some of the other great burrito places we have in town like burrito boyz or burrito bandido. The only reason you would need to go here is 1- if you want to be treated poorly by the jerk that works there, or 2- if you want food poisoning, like the taste of bland flavourless food, or like to waste your hard earned money on GARBAGE! read more

This place has the best tasting Burritos in all of Southern Ontario. The bang you get for the buck is amazing. Our favourite is the Friday Special Noah's Arc which is a mix of all sorts of meat he has left over and sausage too. It's so freaking delicious. One burrito can last you two days if you can withstand the temptation to eat the entire thing in one sitting. Definitely worth a shot if you love Mexican, and the guac is amazing too. read more

Went to XXX Burrito for dinner tonight and well... not good at all...My wife's Burrito had a few chicken knuckles in it ... cartilage... Yuck. I'm a real Burrito bandit and have tried pretty much every spot here in town. As always, we're searching for that Cali taco truck style burrito, and that proves to be an elusive target. XXX Burrito is right down the street from us so I thought this might be a match made in heaven. Wrong. WRONG. Maybe we caught them on an off night (Friday, 730) but the burrito was a shadow of what I was anticipating. I got a large shrimp and my lady got a large steak. It took a while for mine to come out as the shrimp are cooked then and there (as opposed to sitting all day long) and they weren't bad, but the rest of it was just bland and slack on cheese. The lettuce also looked to be about a few days past decent. My girl had some of the toughest, flavour less steak I've ever had in hers, to the point that she ate half and chucked the rest. Again, I can understand how people would overlook that because it's pretty cheap at $7.75 for steak and $8 bucks for shrimp. All of that aside, it could have been the most bomb burrito ever but the service was what would guarantee I wouldn't go back. The chick that was working there was fairly friendly, and other than her handling cash and then directly touching food I could handle her. What wrecked it was her co-worker. Some cat with a faux hawk and a bad attitude gave off some of the worst vibes I've encountered in a while. No hello, no smile, seemed genuinely offended when we passed on his "Noah's Ark" (a Frankenstein worthy pile of 6 different meats) and seemed like me politely asking for a white tortilla was akin to me insulting his Mom. Like borderline hostile styles. After snapping at my wife that "You don't ask for the toppings, I say all of them and you tell me what you want" he proceeded to skimp on everything all while touching every topping with bare hands that could have been scratching someplace minutes earlier. I normally just get lettuce, cheese and a bit of sauces and when I asked for a little more cheese than the quarter handful he gave me I was given three shreds exactly. Thanks for the hookup, Amigo!! Simply put, don't waste your time. There are better burritos only 5-10 minutes away. Mucho Burrito, Quesada, Burrito Boyz, Burrito Banditos all have significantly fresher ingredients and better burritos. This doesn't even touch upon the customer service which is horrible, takes 5 minutes for any employees to ask why you are there and then seem shocked when you ask to order a burrito. All employees I have dealt with seemed aggravated by my presence as a customer. Also, they say you can order ahead of time to save time but nobody ever answers the phone and the voicemail is full, I even called from right in front of the store when I knew there was no customers and still my call wasn't answered. This shouldn't come as a surprise I guess...this is the same website that claims "the best burrito in the world" which is totally laughable. The "best burrito in the world" is not 80% rice with no toppings. Save yourself the time and spend the extra 2$ on an edible burrito. read more
