There's a first time for everything and today was my personal Burrito Boyz debut. I ordered a small chicken burrito and got most of the toppings. I was happy to see green medium spicy salsa as well as super hot hot sauce. You can customize your burrito kind of like Subway. I also got an order of chips and guacamole. The guac was limey tasting which I enjoyed, but the portion was so small I hardly made a dent on the big bag of chips. I love the little paper bags the burritos come in and the variety of fresh ingredients. I would try it again - maybe a quesadilla next time. read more

Came here on a Sunday night on the long weekend on the way home from Niagara on the lake. I like that this location was open late I think it was about 10:30 PM when a group of us decided to pick up burritos for dinner. The size of the small burrito is huge and I could not finish eating the whole thing. They have a lot of vegan/vegetarian options such as soy ground and sweet potato for your burritos/taco cravings. We have been frequenting BB for at least 10 years. This location has friendly staff. The naked burrito ( no wrap) was a good option I discovered this year. Wasn't happy to learn that they charge $5-8 more per burrito above the delivery fee for Uber eats, door dash. So if you are ordering more than 4, go in person to save $25. read more

There are numerous fast food Mexican options in Hamilton but the one I usually go to is Burrito Boyz. Had a Naked Burrito with sweet potato last week which is good if you want to skip the carbs. The price is rather reasonable given the Naked Burrito is a huge portion. There is a decent portion of beans, rice, and veggies like lettuce and tomatoes. Sitting at my desk and enjoying my steak/chicken burrito i grabbed just a few minutes ago. I dont normally write reviews for chain like franchises but the team at this location today truly impressed me. The top notch service, energy, and overall helpfullness form these guys made todays visit very pleasant. First off, unsure about going with steak or chicken (im pregnant! cravings!?) they kindly recommended tyring both - as well as helped steer me towards the right level of heat for my burrito. I never felt rushed or like I inconvenience anyone. There was also a guy who bought a beer/pop (glass beverage?) and then dropped it right off the counter at the front. Admittdely I was irritated (why i probably dont work in hospitality).at the inconvenience this surely caused the stuff who were already super busy with lunch time and in their happy cheerful moods... but these guys were so chipper and pleasant - telling the guy not to worry it happens all the time. The food was awesome, like all other locations, but the order process is completely broken. My friends and I wasted more than 30 minutes waiting for our order. I love the franchise, but I can't recommend this location because of its broken ordering system. Do NOT use the printable order form from the site. We thought we'd use it to save time for us and the staff, but it only wasted our time. We came in, gave in the form, and waited. Then a big group (15+) of customers came in and somehow had all their orders placed before us. Huh? When we asked about this, they said this was the process with the form. Does this make any sense? Nope. So, we had to wait patiently for all other orders to be placed before we could pay and get ours. Now, remember, we came in and ordered BEFORE everyone else. Yet, we had to wait 30+ minutes. Been here many times, never disappointed. It's no-frills, limited seating, but they make a damn good burrito, smells amazing as soon as you walk in. Value is excellent. I weigh 160lbs 5'10 and a small burrito is usually VERY filling for me, even the small bean (veggie) burrito is a fantastic value at around 6$, bit more with tax. You get a large, be prepared to be sitting for a while unless you are a power eater! I have never been in here when it wasn't packed. They prepare the food quickly though, and the staff seems very efficient. If you are looking for a sit-down Mexican restaraunt, don't look here as there is no beer or appetizers, etc, it's more of a fast food place but done with quality ingredients. read more

As a person with a gluten sensitivity I was so pleased that they took this seriously and that the menu was clearly marked with GF choices. But I was only compelled to write a review of this location after today. I walked in to see an unusual team of 8 people working rapid fire on multiple burritos at once. Turns out, it was a 250+ burrito order. A bit trepidatious, I still placed an order. I was greeted with the same pleasantness and service I've come to expect, which was appreciated considering they were all surely stressed out about this massive order. Steak is good but I find the chicken tends to be tasteless and has a boil in the bag feel to it. Aside from that this is my go to place in my downtown neighborhood. Ordered a chicken burrito through there online website just-eat.ca. Order went through smoothly. Can pick from a variety of toppings and ask for extra toppings easily. They called me after the order to ensure that I made the order and that it would be ready in 20 minutes. Easy process. Food was tasty. Great quantity and price. Fresh toppings. I love Burrito Boyz! I've been to the ones in downtown Toronto numerous times and have been going there for years. The burritos are extremely filling and I love their burrito sauce.
