We went to this place 2 Saturdays ago before our check-in at The Pearle hotel (more on that later) The owner greeted us warmly and asked if we had been here before, to which we answered no. He gave us suggestions about popular items on their menu and what quantities to order. The tacos are hefty! A few people came in after us while we were eating and I understood why this lady only ordered 1 for her daughter. We tried the fish, dope beef, carne asada and street fries. When you order at the cash, they bring it out to your car if you're taking it home to eat. They've got two standup tables inside and 3 more outside. Fries were crispy, filling and delicious. I love that everything was freshly made and you can tell the owners truly care about their food quality. Thank you for doubling up on the tortilla! What a fun food joint! It is tucked away so easy to miss from the road, but I found out word of mouth from a friend and their tacos are fresh and excellent! Everything is a little spicy if you're not a spice person, but they can make the boca tacos less spicy for you. We love this place! Nachos are also a great choice! read more

I went by today for the first time to grab something quick for lunch. I was ecstatic to see that not only do they have gluten free but also halal meet as well. I tried the Hype Fish and Prima Chicken and was impressed by the taste and quality. The hot sauce was thick and blended well with the taco making sure you can get messy and not have hot spots in your taco. They should definitely add some spots for sitting down to eat there as it would've saved my car and couple of napkins. However, the bright colours of the food truck did manage to lighten up the atmosphere. Taste: these tacos are some of my favourites out there. The flavours are strong and the textures are good, despite the fact that the main ingredient is something akin to homemade bean paste. The shells are automatically gluten-free - made from what I believe to be corn flour, and you'd never know. Service: staff at 50 Pesos were friendly and efficient, and I didn't have to wait long at all for my order once I'd placed it. Bang for buck: $12 for my gluten-free, vegetarian (could have been made vegan if I'd asked) tacos, which I will not complain about. It was more than enough food for a meal, and it was cheaper than the other meat-containing, gluten-containing tacos. Extra perks: vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free options available. Our first time coming, we were looking at the menu and the cashier was rude stating "are you going to stand there or are you going to order?" there was no line behind us or people waiting for orders. While eating our taco, the cashier asked every customer at the table how their food was but did not even acknowledge us once. It's unfortunate that we experienced this because the taco we had was good. I can't say the same about the service though. read more

SO GOOD!! the best taco place in Burlington from the GF corn tortillas to the mango salsa. I have yet to try anything from there I didn't like! Staff is always friendly. A true hidden gem in Burlington I just with they had longer hours. I have yet to find a place nearly as good in the area, if you haven't tried it yet you need to. read more
