I very rarely write reviews, especially about companies in my own industry, but my experience with this FastSigns was unprecedented and shocking. I have worked with a high number of sign companies during the past 11 years, owning a sign company myself, in outsourcing services to them. This experience was a very first for me. The ownership here has demonstrated questionable business practices, and a massive lack of support for their staff, leaving me feeling empathic to the individual they had communicating with me. Clearly the employee had little to no support from ownership, asking the employee to do things I would never ask of my own team. This is what happened: FastSigns of Bellevue was hired to install signage we shipped to them. The scope was for two locations. They were given two opportunities to quote the job based on preliminary information (opportunity 1) and then confirmed information (opportunity 2). We paid the requested deposits we were sent for both install quotes. We lined up shipping a pallet to them and let them know the expected arrival date. The install date was scheduled. On the arrival date of the pallet, FastSigns closed early without notifying anyone. The pallet couldn't deliver. This delayed the installation by 3 additional days after the initial install date and pushed it to the final allowed date by our client. The day before the new install date, FastSigns called stating the quote was no longer valid as they misunderstood the scope. They needed to charge me over 100% more (yes more than double) than was quoted if I wanted them to proceed. They already had the signs in their possession. My client's deadline was now the new date of install (the next day), giving me little choice to make any other arrangements. We conceded to splitting the increase with them - they had our signs and the client's deadline wasn't moving so I needed to keep integrity with my client. The install date was Friday. As part of paying the increase, it was agreed that both locations would be completed that day. The day before the installation, I questioned the people power they were putting behind the installation, doubting it will get done in one day. They insisted it would be ok. On the day of install (Friday), FastSigns didn't complete the install - only completing one of the locations. They requested to go back the following Monday. Again, we had no choice. The day after the installation (Saturday - when we were not open), we get an email from FastSigns saying they require payment in full if they are to return on Monday. If we didn't pay before Monday, they would not return to complete the work. Thankfully, I happened to be working briefly that day. The invoices were paid. Again, we had little choice as we needed to keep our client happy. The installation was completed but with the second location having significant issues to the installation. FastSigns was notified on June 2 of these issues. They thankfully, finally went back on June 9 to fix them. I reached out to FastSigns corporate in order to investigate these business practices with them and report this information to them. I have yet to receive a response after multiple attempts. read more

Wow, they didn't call Fastsigns for no reason, they were indeed fast. Communication was super easy over email as I don't have time to stop by in person or be on the phone during waking business hours, they were very responsive. I thought it was straight forward to upload a logo and have it made, but it's a whole extensive process on their end with many options for material which overwhelmed me, luckily they have worked with other tenants in my building to know exactly the glass door that it is going on to determine size, what material to print it on, etc. I don't trust myself to install it and have it be straight, so good thing they offer installations also! I'm so happy with the logo that my client designed for me and Fastsign was able to create it to life, all my clients have been really liking it too, they are able to see it right when they walk in the building since I'm in a corner. Fast signs is amazing and have become an extension of our advertising firm. The rates are good enough that we can mark it up and the quality of the work is dead on. Many times they have re-did my artwork at no extra cost just to make me happy and that days allot. Great company. read more

I had a rush project for 5 items and they were happy to make them for me. I immediately paid in full and my credit card was charged. I later found out that they did not have the material for 2 of my items so I was told I would get a refund for that part of the order. The order was rushed and ready on time, and when I picked up my items I received the partial refund for what I paid for that was not made.  Great. All done. Happy. Fast forward a month - the owner, very rudely, starts harassing me for payment. The invoice was paid in full at the time of service, and I had the receipts and credit card statement to prove it. Clearly a bookkeeping error, but instead of getting a "sorry for the mix up" response from her I was treated with hostility. Bummer. read more

Had them make me 8 numbers that were about one square inch each. Charged me $55.00. Maybe it's their minimum charge but seemed kinda like a rip off. Had given them a picture of what I was trying to match. When I realized the font and size was incorrect they couldn't have cared less. Said another $55.00 to try again. No thanks. read more

Fastsigns of Bellevue did a beautiful job installing company graphics on my pressure wash / mobile detail trailer. After consulting other sign companies, I realized Fastsigns of Bellevue offers skill and experience that is second to none. The graphics on my trailer were designed from a marketing standpoint; maximum space usage, company name / phone number are larger, brighter and easier to read than any of my company's competitors' vehicles. Great customer service, fast, and reasonably priced for consistently good products. But the staff really make the difference.

We need a lobby sign within a few days, so I contacted half a dozen suppliers including FastSigns. I didn't think I'd go with FastSigns because I thought it'd be fast, maybe, but how about good? Turned out only FastSigns could make the deadline, and, guess what, they were excellent! I'd highly recommend FastSigns! read more

Communication was nonexistent. Manager didn't know the work times of the installers. If you are unable to arrive by 4:30 - it is a real bother! Will definitely find another shop next time! Not worthy! read more

I prefer to work with a local vendor rather than ordering over the Internet and was thrilled that Josie could match the price I received online from an out-of-state vendor. Not only did she match the price, she provided excellent service. The signs looked beautiful and were ready on time. FastSigns - Bellevue/Issaquah has a great selection of signage options, many of which I hadn't considered or even known about. Their staff also has the experience to listen to an idea and then suggest the best option(s) for the signage and my goals related to it. That's really important. Their newly remodeled Issaquah showroom does a great job of illustrating various sign options and to me that's a wonderful "silent salesperson." They are also members of our community who are committed to making it better for everyone. It doesn't get much better than that, does it? read more
