I have called this source twice and left messages with no contact back. I also stood for 15 minutes to purchase paint. No greeting, no can I help you, nothing. A friend of mine asked one of the two guys in the paint area if we could get some help. One guy States that it's not his department and he's just there chatting with department employee. The department employees still never addressed us so we left. I found another store to meet my needs and I will not frequent Lowe's again for lack of customer service. I realize the outsource for installation isn't their fault per say, but being affiliated with a service that does not call the customer back is bad service.

I only have one job to perform so I decided to get the cheap one. That was probably a bad decision on my part as you get what you pay for. I'll be lucky if it survives my one task. I put off buying a rake because I've never met one that I liked! LOL! Incredibly; the rest of this store was mostly well stocked and neat! The floors were super clean! I really fell in love with a couple of their charcoal grills. Please see them in my photos! In reality; I could have spent a lot of time and money here today. No shame intended to Lowe's but both of the grills that I liked were about one hundred dollars more expensive than three months ago! Today this store was really on their game. This is a good one and I hope the local public finds them as good as I did on their next visit!

    Recently got a washer and dryer. The reason that I had to replace the latter was due to the first…read moreduo who installed the washer and re-installed the old dryer, did something to where the dryer no longer worked. Definitely had to be that when they moved the old dryer the heat element must've shorted out. Since the dryer was working perfectly fine prior to their mishandling of it. Being level header I understand that these sort of things can happen when moving items. Should've known more mistakes would be made when intial washer they brought had dings on it.   However they offered to bring a replacement at a later date for the mishap. Or just keep it with a deduction. Chose the former because wasnt sure what internal damage might've took place. Later talking to an associate confirming new delivery of another washer without the blemish, I again informed them what happened. They suggested that I tell the guys who will deliver the newer model that next day. When I informed this new set of deliverers, they indicated to me to please contact Lee Capps, the store manager, who'd make it right to work something out. I attempted to contact him the next day but was not able to discuss with him by phone/face to face the matter at hand.     I gave my contact information to an associate in appliances when I was there and she mentioned he'd give me a call later that evening if not the next day. When that did not happen, I tried to call again and was he was on vacation. Then I sent emails to both him and assistant manager Bryan Lancaster but still to no avail.  No resolution took place. All in all a frustrating process for was doing this for my grandmother who is soon to be 100. Just wanted to get this all squared away and right for her but they weren't willing. Wasnt sure what the deal was for been members and paid full price so left a bitter taste. Customer service and leadership their is a disgrace.

So I went to the pallets on the back side and loaded it myself and hurt my back. On the way to leave the parking lot was cut off by 2 Lowes employees who accused me of stealing it until I showed them my receipt. Considering a lawsuit for my back because no help was available and then to be accused of stealing is a deal breaker. Next time I will pay more at the local hardware store because they are always there to help. Done with Lowes!!!!

But because this company partners with Lowes, it reflects badly on Lowes as well for choosing them. I had a natural gas water heater that failed after 20 years and opted to replace it with a tankless version. I contacted Lowes and they sent a Reliable Services, USA estimate team to look at the project. It was supposed to be a turnkey project where the Reliable Services, USA team would purchase through Lowes and do the installation work. The estimate went pretty well, and the estimator was fairly knowledgeable. The price was agreeable and fair to me, so I decided to contract them for the job. That's where it went bad. I tried calling the company first thing on Monday morning to set up a schedule for the work and was not able to talk to a live person to get this started. More than 6 hours was spent trying with multiple calls and the best I could do was leave a voice mail to be called back. On one of the final attempts the system gave me a chance to be called back (which was not available earlier) and I did get called back. However, the person that called back was not in the plumbing department so they transferred me where I was put on hold for a long time. I finally just gave up when nobody picked up. The job was a nearly $6k project but this company did not appear interested in it after providing an estimate. If this was the case, they never should have sent estimators to my home to waste my time. I will be avoiding Lowes for any home improvement project where they contract this company to do the work in the future.

Then it took them 4 hours to get my order together and loaded. (4 HOURS) THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER. MORE PROOF. Ge to check out and ask for help loading to my trailer. 20 minutes later go back in ask again for loading help. Finally got my trailer loaded. While they did rearrange the layout from the previous store, the Lowe's mobile app made navigation a breeze. I was able to quickly locate everything on my shopping list without wandering around confused. The new floor plan actually seems more logical once you get oriented. Beautiful Tree in side of 3 days the lights that come with it , attached to it with a control box on it decided to go from steady on to a constant blinking. My wife cannot handle the constant blinking and it actually annoyed me as well. As you can see the Tree is fully decorated and with all the work that went into it we decided to add some lights to it and not use the attached lights and return it when we took it down. Probably should have made a call but we didn't, just assumed we could return it. Probably should have known we couldn't but we never return anything. You would think you spend nearly $300 after sales tax on something and it doesnt work you should be able to return it. Lowes allows no Holiday items returned after the Holiday. I understand that but when something fails after three days of use. I use to come here all the time, unless they make this right I will never be back. My wife is the project queen. If anyone else bought this Tree and had similar issues please share. The response was anywhere from i just work here to that's our policy with no consideration of the inferior product.

Rescanned it twice at the register in front of the cashier's and the barcode showed $27.19. They called the lumber associate and he scanned the store register showing a higher price $29+. My issue is why have a store app stating one price only to out at the register it is a higher price.

A Lowe's employee, passing by, saw me struggling and asked if he could help me.....he loaded all three pieces onto the rolly cart and promised to meet me up at checkout to help get the lattice into my car. He did that, rolling the lattice, tying it together, then stuffing it into my back seat. What a wonderful, thoughtful thing to do! However, I feel honor bound by God, Jesus, and all his saints to tell you my experience attempting to purchase a dishwasher at the Lowe's in Shelby, NC. I can no longer sleep soundly at night, knowing that people continue to give this business their hard earned money. We moved to a new (to us) home and ordered a new dishwasher online, the night of May 21st. The house's original dishwasher was presumably made with pre-Cold War technology. It sounded like we had a freight train revving up, every time we presumed to press "Start". Anywho, Lowe's advised we would have delivery on June 6. After my delivery window came and went, I ended up hearing from the installer. Now, the installer is a seperate company than Lowe's. Lowe's subcontracts out the installation of most of it's major appliances, and this was no different. Anywho, the installer advised that there must be a mixup, they don't have my particular dishwasher in the truck. They'll reach out the next business day(it was Friday) once they hear back from Lowe's appliance manager. That Monday, I spoke with the installer and he said I needed to speak with Lowe's Installation Team. Now, LIT is a separate entity from your local Lowe's. It's a corporate office that manages your installation and delivery. It is not a local person. I leave a voicemail with LIT. The next day I get a call back. LIT advises they discovered that the local installer installed my dishwasher at someone else's home. No worries, they say, they're going to send the installer back to that house, pull out the machine, and I can have it installed today. I refuse, advising that it is no longer a new machine. I've paid for a new machine. I ask if we can go ahead and cancel the order. LIT advises that I need to speak with my local Lowe's to get the item refunded. So, I call Lowe's in Shelby, where the first employee tells me that their system shows my dishwasher as delivered and installed, and if I want to dispute that, I need to file a chargeback. I refuse, since if their documentation shows it as delivered, I'll lose the chargeback dispute. I ask to speak with a manager. The manager is probably the worst person in customer service I've ever interacted with. I've had nicer interactions at the DMV. I've felt more at ease during a Pap Smear. This gentleman berates me and says he has no idea what's going on, that it's his store and he needs to look into it. He hangs up. And it's been a full month and I can't get anyone to pick up the phone. I'm out $800 and I'm still using Soviet technology to get my dishes clean. Don't use Lowe's, specifically the one in Shelby. I'd rather wash my dishes with barbed wire and orange juice than give them one more dollar of my money. At this point, it's actual theft.
