Despite my variety of choices, I bypass all of these stores to go to Clark (also known as Amy's Mini Mart). From the outside, Clark appears to be a tiny inconspicuous gas station that would make for a convenient stop for a Snickers bar. In the inside, Clark provides more than instant gratification for a sudden sweet tooth. My basis for declaring my loyalty to this establishment come from three appeals. 1) Price: Though Clark is not the cheapest gas station available to me but it is the cheapest in my immediate area. The food and drinks within the store cost about as much as they would at any other convenience store. Though s few of the items exclusive to Clark are much cheaper than their name brand counterparts so i like to take advantage of that possibility when i can. 2) Friendliness: After being a regular patron of this gas station since the spring of 2010, the faces of those that work there have become all too familiar. Some of them I even know by name. I can easily strike up a conversation with any of the employees, even the ones i don't know as well as others. No matter who's working I always feel comfortable and welcome as I walk through the doors. 3) Quality: I'm well aware that Clark is a gas station, not Olive Garden. I don't expect nor claim that their merchandise is high end or superb. I will claim, however, that I thoroughly trust that whatever I happen to buy there will be fresh and satisfying. There is no surprise that going to Clark on a daily basis over the span of six or so months has proved it to be my favorite gas station. But without the aforementioned reasons, I wouldn't be so adamant about upholding my daily ritual. As long as Clark stands at the corner of Douglas and Brittany Drive, you can expect me to see me there once (possibly twice) a day.

Love Amy's. Locally owned and the prices are the lowest in the area!read more

The service is consistently slow and they are impossible to get a hold of. If you want to call and speak to someone about a medication question or anything that's not an auto-refill, plan on spending 30+ minutes on hold. This is true even if you're a provider. A medication was prescribed for my cat that needed to be filled at a human pharmacy. My vet called me and said they tried twice and spent over an hour total on hold and no one ever picked up their call to request the prescription. I ended up getting it filled elsewhere. It's one thing if this was a one-off bad experience, but this place has been chronically understaffed for well over a year. I went today with the intent of going through the drive-thru, but both lanes were blocked off. I asked a store employee who said it was because the drive-thru was "broken" (??). So I waited in line for several minutes only to get up to the counter and be told my prescription was put back and it would take 1-2 hours to be ready. Not wanting to spend my Saturday hanging out at Walgreens, I asked if they had the same hours tomorrow, and they said "probably" and straight up told me that sometimes they don't have a pharmacist and will have to close, but they don't know when that would happen. Isn't it kind of important for people to know if they'll be able to pick up their medication, especially if it's the kind that carries side effects if doses are missed? I asked how I could transfer my medications to another pharmacy, and they said I should have that pharmacy call and request a profile transfer. Remembering the issue with my vet a while ago, I asked if they would be likely to answer. The person said "if we're not busy." I mean, at least they're honest, but admitting to not answering calls and not even being able to guarantee your open hours is not a good look. If your medication is completely optional and you like the surprise of the pharmacy being open or closed when you go, then this place probably won't bother you. But for most people who have medications they need to keep up with and timing is important, this is NOT it. I wasn't even out of the store when I was on the phone with my grocery store pharmacy asking for the profile transfer (they answered after one ring!). Between the inconsistent hours, long waits, and inability to reach anyone by phone, it's like this place is actively trying to drive away customers. I did try to give them the benefit of the doubt, but after over a year of terrible service, there is clearly no intent to make changes.

This location has proven time and time again to be utterly useless when trying to acquire medicine…read morethey said they would have. In multiple occasions I have been promised my meds by a certain day and never received them on that day. I've had to contact my doctors office nearly every time I need a refill because when told that Walgreens pharmacist will reach out, they never do. Or at least they don't put in an order for up to a week and a half after I've requested my meds. I've tried to combat this by ordering my meds far in advance so they have them in stock but then they don't hold medicine over a certain period of time. So nothing I do seems to actually help them achieve the job they are promising. I wouldn't be so upset if these meds weren't something I need daily. And I also wouldn't be upset if I had to deal with this maybe once or twice or even ten times. But it's been numerous times too many to count that I've had an issue trying to get my meds
