I found it very easy to make an appointment with Annie's and they performed all the services I requested quickly and with quality. The front desk staff, particularly Corry, kept up updated on the service progress and my car was ready quickly. Very friendly service. As is pretty common, Wally had several cars waiting for him after the long weekend. He said he would work ours into the schedule. We dropped it off and waited. Around 2pm, the phone rang - our car was ready for pickup. What a pleasant surprise! We were further surprised when we saw the bill. It was about half of what we initially expected. Here's the bottom line - Wally is an old-school repairman. When I say "old school", what I mean is that he is an experienced, honest, no-frills-or-gimmicks mechanic who has been in business locally for a long, long time. He will tell you what he thinks is wrong, give you an honest and fair estimate, and work hard to do a great job. Look around his shop and you'll see that he's a family man who has become an important part of this small community. It's refreshing to find businesses like Wally's in this day and age.

I think just about everybody feels that way and when you can find a mechanic that you trust they're worth their weight in gold. I needed to get my car e-checked so I could renew my registration and since the engine light came on, I absolutely had to have it serviced prior to getting the E check done. So yelp recommended Lakewood Firestone tire pros and I decided to accept that recommendation. I dropped my car off and unfortunately due to a power outage. They were unable to get to it but that's just life in Lake with these days. They called me the next morning with a quote and had the card done by the end of the day. It was reasonable and about what I expected to pay and I was grateful that they got it done so quickly cause to be honest I waited a little too long to get my E check done and I was under the gun.
