Ice started forming in the interior back wall of the fridge as many fridges experience during its lifetime. The fact the Sub had nothing done to it professionally for 27 years is a testament to the build quality of Sub-Zero. I don't know what the new computerized ones are like but this "old school" version is a well built machine. Nick replaced the compressor and other parts including a detailed cleaning of the vent section above the Sub. He was very communicative via text message and had a professional, friendly demeanor. Totally happy with the results. Highly recommended. Thank you, Nick!

The freezer fan wasn't working so he ordered a replacement fan and I paid him a deposit. While awaiting the delivery of the fan, the existing fan started working again. I asked Artur about it and he said he's seen this situation before and it's likely the fan could be failing so I asked him to come back to replace the fan. When Artur came back and plugged in the new fan, it didn't work so the issue wasn't the fan. Upon further evaluation, he said it looks like the compressor is failing so it's not worth spending more money on my refrigerator. He had also cleaned the refrigerato coils and three other appliances during the visit. He said I will need to buy a new refrigerator soon so wasn't not going to charge any more than the deposit I already paid. I really appreciate Artur's honestly and awesome customer service. I know most technicians would charge for every task even if it doesn't resolve the issue.

I was concerned that his area did not cover where I'm located based on the Yelp map so I hesitated but ended up calling anyway. Glad I did! As he frequently goes outside the service area. Michael said the leaking in my fridge could be solved by thawing it out for 24 hours. But I opted for the quick remedy that Michael offered. As I wasn't ready for so much food that might get spoiled if I went the 24 hour route. All in all, I'm very happy with Michael and will recommend him to whoever needs an appliance repair.
