The service guys…read moremanaged my expectations but also did their best to make sure i was able to get diagnosed timely. That was very much appreciated. THEN the positive feelings fell apart because as i was talking to the service guys, a sales guy overheard and approached me and stated, "instead of going through all of that headache, why don't you just trade your bike in for a new one". I actually thought about that but was hesistant because i didn't want to get taken advantage of with my trade. My bike is a 2016 CVO Street Glide with about another $10,000 in upgrades. It had critical motor failure but (and here is the funny part), it had a full warranty so, the engine was going to be replaced, not just repaired. The sales guy knew that but still "his boss" (Made it a point to state it wasn't him coming up with this number) offered ten grand for my bike. I laughed and thanked him for wasting two hours of my time and insulting me. i hauled my bike home, had my local dealer put a new engine in it under warranty and was offered $27,000 for my bike by my dealer. If you have service needs, the guys are top notch. Sales? Well, they aren't any different than your typical cheesy sales guy but i'd go elsewhere given the choice. I'll never buy from this place for sure.

The truck arrives in less than 20 minutes with a crew that knew what they were doing and a truck designed to haul motorcycles and 15 minutes later, I'm being unloaded at Roscoe's. I'm in a bind, I need to catch a flight out of the country in 2days and still have over 800 miles to travel. They jump on it and tell me I need a new stator and possibly voltage regulator. The mechanic says he'll try to get me on the road a little after noon the following day if he can get the parts. I'm cautiously hopeful. They help me find a motel room nearby and Ross drops me off there. At 12:30 the next day I was on the road and made my flight. This is as good as it gets. Great staff and a great mechanic.

The next day I had to call and request status only to find out the tech assigned was out. They called back an hour later saying it was ready to pick up. Today we went and picked it up. The battery was not replaced. The service manager had an opportunity to make it right before we even walked out the door and chose not to do anything. When we got home we discovered the air filter was not replaced either- $269 later. Im even questioning if they replaced the oil. We will no longer be doing business with them and don't recommend them. Shady and not trustworthy.

Rice's Rapid Motorsports (Rapid City, SD) - 1/5 Stars I've…read morehad nothing but the worst service at Rice's Rapid Motorsports in Rapid City. For starters, I bought my 2026 Suzuki GSX-8R there, and I've had nothing but issues with it. My speedometer is 9 mph off, which is outside of Suzuki's guidelines, yet the mechanics at Rapid claimed it's only 3 mph off when they checked it with a GPS. I've had law enforcement verify my speed, and it's 100% 9 mph off. They told me it's within Suzuki's guidelines and there's nothing they can do. Later, I noticed an exhaust leak sound. Upon inspecting my exhaust, I found a factory defect with the muffler where an extra bung hole wasn't welded properly. The mechanics at the Rapid City store told me it's normal because it's a "drain hole" on top of the muffler. This is a direct quote from their service shop. FYI, there is no drain hole, and if there was, it definitely wouldn't be on a welded bung hole on top of the muffler. That was strike two. A couple of weeks later, I noticed paint chipping off my rear disc, which isn't normal. I stopped back at the Rapid City store, and a mechanic came outside to look at my bike, only to tell me it's brake dust and not paint chipping. After doing my own research and talking to two other shops, it's clear this is a defect on the bike. I'm absolutely disgusted with how the Rapid City Rice's Motorsports location is run. The mechanics don't seem to have a clue what they're doing and are giving out bad info that could be a liability. My money will no longer be spent there. For the Rapid City location: You need serious work. Not only is your customer service absolute trash, but you have untrained, un-knowledgeable people working on customers' equipment. That's a huge liability, and it's only a matter of time until a lawsuit comes your way. Your sales reps suck and have no knowledge of the products; I've had salesmen leave in the middle of a deal to go work with someone who just walked in the door. It's all about money in Rapid. I have nothing good to say about this location except if you want to go somewhere where they really don't care or know much of anything, check out Rice's Rapid Motorsports.

Called and spoke with Cody the sales manager (maybe Corey) Said there is nothing they can do despite there being a $400 value difference between the 2025 and 2026 and basically sorry about your luck. Absolutely sad way to treat customers - We will go elsewhere for out next machines.
