This is an organization that goes out of their way to make sure people can meet their employment requirements as efficiently as possible, while improving Hawaii's Health with their educational programs. Classes are very straight forward, material is covered very effectively, and you walk out with your card in your hand. Their approach is very realistic. They help everyone with a pulse, so all these people can stay employed, move into new better careers, get into job interviews in time and continue working without delays, typically expected wait times, and without missing their workdays or their pay checks. In return all these people go off and help those without a pulse that need effective and efficient CPR in the community, homes and in work places.
There is a lot of Hype and Hypocrisy in CPR industry to make things look good. These guys will tell you what works, what doesn't work, what you can expect without telling you a fairy tail story. They are just as concerned about helping the living as well as helping the dying. Instructors are real teachers, with backgrounds in education, healthcare and prevention. They know how people can go on living without needing to get CPR. These people are not the ones that feed you doughnuts during your CPR classes or send you to get fast food in between brakes of a long drag out class! They know what is killing people out there in the Hawaii population because their instructors have also spent decades teaching prevention! They will teach you effective, efficient CPR, they will help you so you know your stuff, and you will have your card in your hand after passing all the tests. If you have to do CPR for real, you will really be able to do it, know your own limitations and know what to expect. You will cut through the bull, save your own livelihood by getting efficient, effective training, meet the employment requirements in a timely manner, keep working without delay, be able to get into better jobs in time, keep taking care your own family, and really be able to save lives if you need to.
Although the name says CPR, they are not just a CPR teaching organization. They are a government recognized local nonprofit organization that really makes a difference in Hawaii. They work with several large mainland organizations, to bring some really good training and career opportunities to the Hawaii's people. They also have Allied Health Certification programs for those wanting to start new careers and enhance their resumes.
