Ms Raquel was extremely patient and genuinely passionate about teaching. She always took the time to answer questions thoroughly, demonstrate skills carefully, and make sure every student fully understood the material before moving on. No matter how nervous or overwhelmed we felt, she constantly encouraged us and reminded us that we were capable of succeeding. What stood out to me the most was how much the instructors truly cared about their students -- not only academically, but personally as well. They wanted each of us to succeed and become compassionate, skilled, and confident CNAs. Their dedication, professionalism, and positive attitudes made such a huge impact on my learning experience. Clinical training was especially valuable because the instructors made sure we felt prepared, supported, and comfortable while practicing hands-on skills. They provided constructive feedback with kindness and patience, which helped me improve and gain confidence in myself. I am incredibly grateful for everything these instructors have taught me. Because of their guidance and encouragement, I feel well prepared to begin my career in healthcare. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this CNA program to anyone looking for a high-quality education with instructors who truly care about their students and their success. I'm truly grateful to our program manager Ms Rose for all the support, encouragement, and dedication throughout this CNA program. Your kindness, patience, and leadership created such a positive learning environment and made a huge impact on my experience. Thank you for always believing in your students and helping us feel confident and prepared for our future careers. I truly appreciate everything you've done for us.

The department rarely answers phone calls or responds to emails, and I'm still waiting on a call back regarding my very first Pell Grant check from two years ago. The lack of communication and support is unacceptable, especially for an office responsible for students' financial well-being.

Students are unhappy, professos talks shit about this school itself, staff never answers questions and are uneducated about polices. No one in the business department communicates with each other, the financial aid checks always arrive weeks-months late, the advisors screw you over, the provost is not proactive in any situation, the president of the school WILL NOT answer any urgent emails sent directly to him, the dining hall is extremely crappy food which they overcharge for with $20 a plate and slap Sam Choy's name on the front. If i had known what this school was like, I would have never put myself through the finanical and emotional distress. I have developed an autoimmune stress reaction from this school that has caused me frequent doctors trips just because of the oversights and financial hardships they have put on me. I have been told twice during my college experience that I would NOT graduate on time directly because of advisement oversights. I feel that my college experience was robbed completely and I am deeply ashamed to be an HPU alumni. This school not only ruined my mental and physical health, but they have managed to overcharge tuition from all the students while they are still 148 million in debt. Some school.....

Over the 20-years that we have been in business we have literally hired thousands and thousands of CNAs at the eight companies we own and operate throughout the State. After a while you start noticing patterns and one of the patterns that we have noticed that compared to most CNA schools, Healthcare Training & Career Consultants (HT&CC) does a GREAT job of preparing CNAs for the workforce. And it's not just me, I have heard Directors of Nursing, HR Managers, and Administrators tell me that they get excited when they see that a CNA applying for a job graduated from HT&CC because they have noticed that HT&CC students tend to come to work far better prepared than most. We have notice that HT&CC graduates seem more comfortable assisting with the activities of daily living, but it's also the little things like already knowing the importance of knocking before entering a room - this is a dignity issue, the critical need to wash hands before and after caring for a patient, providing privacy and blanket coverage when giving a bed bath, even knowing the normal ranges of blood pressure, heart rates, and breathing - things that you would expect that a RN would know but not necessarily a CNA. HT&CC graduates come to work already knowing these things that may seem small to most, but are critical to providing quality care. So when I am asked for recommendation for a CNA school or if one of my daughters wanted to become a CNA, I would without hesitation encourage them to attend HT&CC. And if you want to work as a CNA, know that when we see that a CNA job applicant is a recent graduate from HT&CC they automatically move to the very top of our interview list.
