What a horrible experience. The only positive is that the repair guy came within a day. He was unpleasant bordering on rude. He "fixed" the washing machine only for it to break the day after with another issue. He argued with me that he could not have caused it. He finally agreed to come, $80 later, he "fixed" what he broke. I was now in the hole over $200. A month later, the washing machine doesn't work, same exact problem as when I called the first time. I called this company because of their 5-star rating. I regret to say my experience with Fasteny Appliance Repair company fell far below expectations. The lack of a detailed quote, suspicious part replacement and billing practices left me feeling very uneasy throughout the process. They did NOT credit me back the $120 diagnostic fee like they said after I had them complete the repairs. When I reached out to discuss, they wanted to argue with me. Transparency and clarity are crucial in any business transaction, and unfortunately, this company failed to provide either. Stove was fixed after $590, but proceed with caution. read more

Poor customer service. I called and left a message in the morning because me LG dishwasher did not turn on. I waited all day for a call back and then called them back and was told they don't repair dishwashers. Wish they called back earlier and let me know that so that I could call someone else. Not very efficient and a lousy customer service experience. I called Fast Appliance Repair to try and have my icemaker fixed. A repairman came out, made me move my refrigerator myself so that he could see the back, and diagnosed I needed 5 valves replaced, at a cost of over $300. He took my card, charged me, and left. A day or so later, my ice maker started working again. The parts arrived about 3 days later. Since the diagnosis was obviously wrong, I called to cancel. Then I called again. And again. And again. Seems getting your money back is alot more complicated than getting anything fixed. Its going on two months now. Ice Maker is working without any help from them, but I can't get a refund ... or even get them to stop texting / emailing me daily to reschedule. Skip this service. Find another repairman. This outfit is really not very well organized. read more

We had purchased a Kenmore french door fridge from Sears with an ice and water dispenser. The water was coming out piping hot, suitable to make tea. The ice was enough for only about two drinks, after that, we needed to wait for 3 to 4 hours before more was available. Sears came several times but the issue wasn`t fixed. We then called this company, and that was it the issue was permanently fixed and for a fraction of the price Sears repair was charging (thank God the fridge was under warranty and we didn`t have to pay out of pocket). H. was very professional and courteous. He was honest with his diagnosis and charge. Since then, we have always called his company for any appliance repair. read more

We have a Bosch dishwasher that is maybe 6-7 years old. It was experiencing a couple of different issues: not draining being one, and continuously running. We did some high-level troubleshooting online and were inundated with possible root causes. So we decided to call in a pro. The technician advised that he would charge a fee of $39.00 to show up and assess the problem, and additional fees would vary depending on the nature of the problem. The technician arrived 45 minutes after the agreed-upon time. The technician used a vacuum-type device to clean out the filters/screens within the dishwasher and then advised that the problem could be the control board. He further advised that we flip the breaker, as that sometimes solves the problem. That's it. Grand total, $60.00 and a still questionably operational dishwasher. I'll cut to the chase: the vacuuming/cleaning of the screens - coupled with the flipping of the breaker - didn't work. So I made myself a large cup of coffee, scoured the Internet for the most likely issue and its solution, and dove in. Three hours later, problem solved (so far). Though I'm still out $60.00 and had to perform the research, heavy lifting, and repairs all on my own. read more

I stupidly washed some foam packing materials that were musty smelling. Being lightweight, one slipped over the top of the drum and into the works of the machine. When I heard a squeaking sound and smelled something overheating, I stopped the machine and called Fast Appliance Repair, as they were the closest to me. Amid came over that day and arrived right on time. He was very pleasant and worked hard to get my machine back up and running. I am very pleased with his work and his friendliness, and will call Fast Appliance again if I need another repair. read more

Hamid walked into my house, did not even introduce himself. He was rude and condescending to me when I told him the problem I was having with my washing machine. He became annoyed when I did not have any idea about the workings of a washing machine, and then when I said I would have my husband come home and it would take 15 mins, he barked "I am not waiting" at me. He told me I need a plumber and that there is nothing wrong with my machine. He repeatedly called the part that was causing the issue "stupid." I believe he owns this company, and cannot believe the owner of a business treats his customers this way. He then proceeded to tell me how much I owe. I asked if he takes credit card, and was barked at again..."NO! cash or check." I am beyond appalled and I will NEVER recommend this company to anyone. In fact, I will tell everyone I know of my horrible experience with this terrible man. STAY AWAY from this company. read more

This is a reliable company with good prices and fast service. We had a washer that stopped working. I received a callback at 9:30 on a Monday night (ten minutes after I called) and he was out to fix our washer the next afternoon. It was completely fixed on the first try for a reasonable price.
