Let me start off by saying, this was the worse moving experience I've ever had. Do yourself a favor and find a different company to move your belongings. Time management was a huge issue with this company, 30 mins late, mind you- you're paying by the hour. The company had to stop for gas in their truck on the time that you're paying for, and the movers stripped the screws to my bed having me to buy new screws. never again! read more

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I called on 02/17 /2024 at 3:45pm and asked if they unmount and remount tvs in their moving service. I was told that they do. I asked if they were insured and at that point the conversation took a turn. I was told that "everyone that asks about their insurance submits a claim and at that point they would not even consider taking the job". All this because I want to ensure your company has the necessary documentation to love my items? The man on the phone was very rude and this isn't how you conduct business. Asking if your company has insurance reassures the customer but these business practice of declining jobs because you were asked if your company has insurance is really shady. I wouldn't recommend this company. read more

When I reached out to have this move done, The owner was great on the phone. The quote seemed reasonable, he seemed knowledgeable, and I had thought this would finally be a good moving company for me as I have had many issues in ATL. The day before the move, I asked him how many individuals he was bringing to do the move. He told me 2 in total, but I suggested 3. He insisted 2 people would be enough. The truck he picked was too small for my 2.5 bedroom apartment. We started over an hour late on the day of the move. His partner was very late. He packed the truck full of boxes initially which significantly reduced room for large pieces. As a result, we ended up having to make two trips. There were multiple times where he asked if we could move the date of the move to a different day or finish on a different day. At the end of the move, I spent way more than I intended, and the move took significantly longer than it should have. Very dissatisfied customer here. read more

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND CALL ANOTHER MOVING SERVICE!! I had a horrible experience with Fast Affordable Moving on Monday, 3/10, 2025. I have moved several times throughout the metro Atlanta area and have had a wide rage of expertise and professionalism with various companies - this was the worst experience I've ever had. The equipment the moves used was rented from uhaul - they didn't even have their own truck, dolly, blankets, or wrap. First red flag! They arrived at 10am and it took two movers over 4 hours to load the truck in a 700 sq ft 1b/1b apartment and ALL I HAD was furniture and four large plants - No Boxes at all. One would wrap the furniture, and the other would watch because there was only one roll of wrap. So inefficient. When I left to meet them at my new place, it took me 20 minutes to get there, and it took them an hour and 20 minutes. I called the Owner to ask about it and he basically made excuses for them that they were driving a truck and it moves a little slower, plus he argued with me about what time they left and how long the drive was. I had a phone call to the movers with the time they were supposed to have left and a text when they arrived that totaled 1 hour and 20 minutes, but he wouldn't budge. I also complained about how slow they were moving and he told me he would have a 3rd person show up to help move into my new place, but no one ever showed. After everything was moved in, I called John to pay for the service, and he said his credit card system was not allowing payments and asked if I could pay with Apple Cash. We had previously agreed that I would be paying with a credit card but he was now adamant that due to credit card fraud, it would be best if I can pay with Zelle, Cash App, Apple, or Venmo. Making me question if this is even a legitimate company. Needless to say, very disappointing and I was not willing to budge and suggested he contact his bank to get the payment system working. He called back 30 minutes later and I was eventually able to pay through Square with my credit card. As if this wasn't enough, when I started sorting through my things, I realized my computer was missing. So I called the movers to ask where they had put it. The person then mentioned that he had left several items behind because they were so rushed after me complaining to John about it taking so long to load the truck. Now, my computer is missing, I'm supposed to trust that it was in fact left in my apartment, there are several heavy items that I cannot fit into my vehicle that I cannot move on my own, also left at my apartment, and I have a payment for over 6 hours of service that should have taken 3-4 max! (I know that because this isn't the first time I've moved). I left immediately and drive back to my apartment to see what all was left, and did find my computer there, along with my patio furniture, the bottom to two of my large plants, and some other décor items. John promised me a refund for all the issues. I waited until Friday to hear back from him and then I called, but no answer. He sent me text a little bit later telling me that he would refund me for 20 minutes - approx. $55. For the time lost due to his employees not being properly trained on how to wrap furniture and have a moving system down, and for the items left behind that I had to figure out another way to move, and the hour they were MIA I do not agree with the refund that was offered. I DO NOT RECOMMEND! read more

If I could leave, no stars on this I would. This company freaking sucks. They sent two men to my house to move my things, and only slotted me for three hours. Now, obviously it would take more than two hours. Period. So I was confused about that. They didn't move fast at all!!!!! one guy was in my new apartment smoking his vape. They were moving so slow. They took seven hours to move my stuff. The entire move cost me almost $2000. Wtf?! Most times they were just sitting around or standing around and not doing anything. Then it became very aggravating that they continuously had stories for all walks of life. As if no matter what they were gonna get a tip. I'm all for black business but this bullshit shouldn't even be a business. Those are regular men that just decided they're gonna get up and move people stuff around.... No professionalism at all. Moving has never been so expensive. At some point I had to start rushing them. John Rosenbrough knows he needs to do better... but once I seen the 2 men I knew exactly what to expect. read more

I really wanted to have a great experience with this company. It was black owned to start and had decent reviews. If it were not for the friendliness of the movers, this would be a 0 star review. John started off very professional and responsive, which is what made me feel comfortable with booking with them. Days before the move, there was no communication, which was a little alarming, but not a major issue. The day of the move, no communication, so I reached out to ask if I could get an ETA. This was at 12:40, when we had a 12:00 appointment, however it was raining so I understood some leeway. The movers arrived at 1:30, (1.5 hours behind my original appointment time). 1 of them had on slides (yes blackness and toeless sandals). I moved from a 1 bedroom apartment, and paid $749!!! They guys were not organized, and could not pick up my larger pieces. Luckily my friend was there to help, because if he was not, this move would have taken 7 hours, (it took 5). After sharing my concerns with the owner, he made no concessions. The guys being late led into us fighting traffic to get to the new location. The a guy moving in sandals, was slow, and could not effectively move. They didn't even carry my bedroom things upstairs, they left everything on the main floor! I will NEVER use this company again and I DO NOT recommend anyone else use them. There are a lot of other, more professional companies out there! Damn near $800 for a 1 bedroom apartment.. let that sink in! Basically, they quote you a cheap price and then move slow. UPDATE: THE OWNER, John, just called my phone and said thanks for the negative review. He called me a faggot and threatened me! This was so unnecessary and uncalled for but further justifies why this review is valid. #homophobic read more

I haven't actually moved yet and I'll amend my review once I do. But John is very responsive. The price I was quoted is by far the best I received in the Atlanta area for my somewhat complicated move. I'll update this review after my move! I'm super excited! read more

There is a lot to critique this company on, however, I'm going to focus on the main issues! They charge by the hour of when they started, despite not getting the incorrect truck size. I ended up paying more than needed because of this but because the move was time sensitive I bite the bullet. When my items arrived I received ALMOST EVERYTHING! ALMOST! I spoke with the manager and he advised that it would be replaced in 14 business days -- I waited 15 business days........ just what?!??!? NOTHING! They stopped replying to my messages and blocked my number and instagram. I would recommend finding a more reliable company to assist with moving, especially if you need the items they are supposedly going to deliver! read more

Believe the reviews!!! I booked with this "company" and furniture came up missing. John assured me he would replace the item in 14 business days, after I asked to be reimbursed for the item. After 18 business days I reached out because I hadn't received my item or an update. My calls/ text were then ignored. I called John from a different number and he answered immediately saying he would have to talk to his brother. I gave him 2 more days, then let him know it was obvious he was a liar and janky "businessman" and had no intentions of ever resolving this issue his company caused. I told him I would be taking legal action then he decided to respond that he had already been talking to his lawyer. About what?? The fact that your movers lost a piece of my furniture and decided to lie about replacing it then ignore my communication attempts. This was the icing on the cake after the first 2 unprofessional scamming actions: 1. John's brother pulled up and told me the time starts once the truck pulls up not when they actually start moving. 2. They were using a rented small truck which did not fit all my furniture so then I am being told in the middle of my move it will be 2 trips instead of 1. And of course if they charge hourly so making multiple trips will get them more money. So they did not even complete the move a 2 bedroom house. Please dont make the mistake I made and not read the review. There are a bunch of janky, scamming businesses in ATL is Fast Affordable Moviving is one!!! read more

Booked move with this company July 16 for an August 19 move from a one bedroom. I had an 10:00am scheduled move with an elevator reservation and a 5:00pm deadline. Owner texted at time of move (10:00am) saying they were going to be an hour and a half late. Then at the new arrival time (11:30) called to say they were still going to another hour and a half. This is now a 3 hour delay. When I asked for compensation they cancelled my move DAY OF and left me stranded. I then had to scramble to find new same-day movers and pay extra fees, doubling the cost of my move. I was punished for their inadequacies. Owner said they would issue a refund for my deposit within 24 hours via zelle. After 24 hours when I inquired about the refund again they changed the payment to cash app and then began arguing with me when I said I wanted the payment via zelle, as that's how I sent the deposit. Plus cash app requires you to lose money to take it out. This owner is very condescending and entitled. They will be late with very little communication and punish you for their inadequate timing. I ended up having to block his contact after continued harassment. To update: I left the above review for the better business bureau. He then called me from an unblocked number to try to pay me and take me out on a date to get me to take down my negative review. read more

Let me start with black owned company, John maintained contact with me throughout my move, to check on progress of his team. He sent 4 guys to move my 5 bedroom home and they spent 13 hours ensuring that beds were properly taken apart and put back together and that all items moved were properly placed where I wanted them. Great experience and worth the money. I would highly recommend Fast Affordable Moving! read more

Communication & customer service from the owner was great. However my move was horrible. Two guys that looked like teenagers showed up with a UHUAL & took 6 hours to move me from a 2 bedroom apartment to a townhouse. Mind you I just have basic furniture in my house & I had all the boxes stacked by the door to make it easier for them. They were slow as hell & They took apart things that didn't need to be took apart, I had my family help because at the rate they were going they would've took all day. I paid over $800 ... definitely a scam. They also didn't want to move my TV's because they didn't know how to wrap them. read more

Very pleased with John and his crew. They are professional and affordable! They do a great job packing/unpacking & disassembling/assembling. I would highly recommend these guys! read more

Very satisfied with the service delivered by Fast Affordable Moving--John was super responsive, gave reasonable pricing for the move with no surprises at the end and was quite meticulous about caring for our personal belongings. The additional service he provided by hauling away unwanted items for trash or charitable donation was priceless. The only additional suggestion I would provide is to perhaps offer a phone virtual tour of the property prior to booking to ensure adequate project staffing and trailer size is estimated. While our home move may have completed within a day with those considerations in place, the fact that the crew of only two people did what they did for us was outstanding and I'd recommend their services any day! A truly seamless and superb job completed! read more
