I wanted to be able to not come back for 6 months if I don't feel like it and given how bold and Chunky the blonde around my face is, I will likely have to get it fixed and blended better in a month or so. I like a super lived in balayage and it looks like I got blonde highlights. The last picture is my inspo, and the other two is what I got. This unfortunately isn't the first time I've had an issue with supernova stylists not doing what I asked for. They did resolve it last time but I don't have time to keep coming back when I get my hair done to get it fixed, nor is it good for my hair. My hair also feels like it wasn't washed good enough as it feels like there's still some of the gritty toner or dye in it, not sure which one.

Well let me tell you Ana exceeded all of my expectations! I'm in love. She gave me the most beautiful ashy vanilla blonde, she really listened and understood what I was looking for and she took her time and always kept me informed with what she was doing (different toners, strength of bleach, olaplex and more toner, root shadow etc etc) even the trim was special. Thanks so much Ana, can't wait to see you again :)

The salon itself it very cool - super aesthetic, good vibes, nice staff. They also have a great instagram page, which is how I found them. I would compare them to the internet hair gurus like Ahn Co Tran (of Ramirez Salon) and Sal Salcedo (of Nova Arts Salon). Very vibey. I will say, be prepared for a pretty steep bill. I expected it to be high because obviously they have a great internet presence and do great work, but I was still surprised by the final cost. Of course, I tipped on top of that because Yuri really did a great job. So the final bill was... staggering. However, I truly believe hair is one of the things you shouldn't cheap out on, especially if you're getting it coloured as well, like I did. A good balayage takes time and skill, and if you find a salon with prices that seem to good to be true, you probably won't be happy with the results (there are exceptions of course). I do wish they had some sort of promo or incentive for new customers. I see a lot of other salons offering either some % off or a free cut with a hair colour appointment for new customers. It would have been nice to see some summer promotion or something. Overall, if you can afford it, this is a great salon with a lot of talented hair dressers and colour specialists. You won't leave disappointed.
