My nail tech (Genesis) was friendly and offered me the keychain of colors to choose from. I picked a particular color and she couldn't find it. So I picked a second color. Same thing. I am not sure if they didn't have the actual colors or if the nail polishes perhaps needed to be better organized. She offered me a similar color to my first choice and I proceeded to get my mani. She took her time and did a good job. It's now been 1 week and so far the polish has not chipped. Yesterday I made an Gel pedicure appointment for 12:30pm with a nail tech (her name was not provided to me) and she was not there upon my arrival. The owner greeted me and apologized and asked me to return in 30 minutes and she would have another technician attend to me. I was slightly annoyed because I had other appointments that now needed to be pushed back but I appreciated her effort to accommodate me. My technician was Samantha and she was great. She was friendly and professional and did a nice job on my pedicure. I would book an appointment with her again. As for the place, it's clean and has a cute set up. Staff is nice. Their prices are a bit expensive considering the neighborhood but they do offer 10% Monday through Wednesday. I was happy I got the discount considering my appointment was delayed. While I was half way done with my pedicure my mom still hadn't even had a clear coat applied because Lilly would stop every couple minutes or so to send a text or answer a phone call. But while I was getting my mani my mother again had to wait while Tai ate. She ended up leaving with a cut on her finger and one toe. She loved the color but said she would not come back, she didn't feel like her time was valued. She said they spent more time socializing than actually doing her nails. Parking is a little hard, the street signs were confusing but nonetheless once found, you can easily pay meters via an app. The store has no awning or storefront so I passed by it twice, they should really work on that. Visibility (aside from social media) is very important I would think for any business. Upon walking into the nail salon, I was surprised that it was really a nail bar! lol seriously, there was a bar where customers sit on one side and the technicians are on the other side doing their nails. There are also alcohol props around like tequila bottles and martini glasses filled with nail tools. Customers are pampered and primped all while sipping on wine out of clean, pristine stemless wine glasses - oh we fancy! The decor is cute but not very beautiful. It was somewhat dimly lit and the walls and furniture were all in dark colors, I would expect something a little more bright to liven up the room since it is a nail salon - but then again, are any bars bright and sparkly... not really lol, so the Nail Bar holds true to its name. For my service I had a gel manicure with design and a regular pedicure. The highlights: Pros: - Great selection of 'Kiara Sky' brand gel colors. I wish they had more OPI but the offerings were good. - Highly sanitary including disposable liners for pedicure tubs. - Once you make an appointment, they will send out reminders as well as any updates/changes via texts. - Niki Acosta did both of my services. She was truly amazing! Not only was she kind, personable, she did a wonderful job. The pedicure was done to perfection from the cutting, filing, and even foot massage. I felt great afterwards. But the magic was really in my gel manicure. I had wanted to do a pink/neutral color with caviar nail design on 2 fingers. The salon was out of the caviar beads and Niki suggested I do a "treasure nail" which includes rhinestones. I'm VERY much a plain Jane. Niki suggested I do a full nail but I was hesitant. I told her it was my birthday and I want something sparkly but simple. She gave me a pep talk about celebrating yourself, especially on your birthday. It sounds weird but it was really sweet and thoughtful. It didn't seem like she was in it for the money, but more so to ensure I had a good experience and design. I decided to go along with her suggestion. I'm so glad I did because it came out beautifully! 2 weeks later and i'm still getting compliments. The rhinestones have fallen off little by little which is expected but the manicure itself still looks great. As the night went on, I learned about Niki's talent and aspirations as a nail tech, she's very dedicated to her craft and it shows in her work. Cons: - I had an appointment for 5pm but was not seen until about 5:45pm. I'm grateful that the Niki apologized but that is just too long of a wait. As I waited to be served, no one offered me a swatch to look at the polish colors or even a magazine. I wasn't even offered a drink until I sat in the pedicure seat. I think when you have this type of business, it's not only about the service, the customer is also looking for a good and unique experience. I did not receive that initially. - The nail polish colors are behind the "bar". I typically come to a nail salon about 15 minutes in advance to pick my color. That way I'm not wasting the technician's time being indecisive and trying out a bunch of colors. To my dismay, the polish is behind the bar. The swatch of sample colors only provided a small portion of their vast collection on the wall. As a result, I sat in the pedicure chair trying to figure out which color I wanted. The same thing happened at the bar; its time consuming especially when you're the last customer for the night. Overall, I'm pleased. In total, I paid about $70 for all the noted services. I will definitely return and recommend to others.

I got the basic pedicure and she was thorough and asked what shaped I wanted my nails filed and if I wanted them cut. I was able to relax with the massage on the chair. I will definitely make an appointment to come back since the owner had to turn people away to come back later since there are only 4 pedicure chairs.
