Most of the furniture is cheaply-produced, laminated crap that is WAAAAAY overpriced.

I brought two beautiful, but out dated furs in to be remade into vests for my girls. She said she was doing the work and we went over just what she was doing. She sent them off to New York and they were terrible. The were so poorly done that all four vests have holes in several places from the start. They were not at all what she said she was doing. I am not about to take them back to her for repair. I would rather pay someone a fair price to fix them. She was way over priced and very poor workmanship. I loved Bella Viaggia before. I had bought from Jean Benham for years, but I would never trust this store now. It has been two years since I had these vests made. They have completely fallen to pieces. Every time I have one mended they come apart somewhere else. Just poorly made.

I purchased a pearl ring from them, but unfortunately the pearl came off very soon after purchase. I took the ring in for repair on April 25, 2026, and was told someone would contact me by Tuesday. No one called. When I followed up myself last week, the person I spoke with was quite rude and told me there were many customers ahead of me for repairs and that it would take around three weeks before mine would even be completed. I find this concerning for two reasons: first, because the pearl should not have come off so quickly in the first place, and second, because reattaching a pearl to a ring should not require such an excessive wait time for a loyal customer. I understand businesses can get busy, but communication and customer service matter. A simple update and a more respectful response would have made a big difference.

It's an array of items, mainly hemp bags and purses, some pretty cute ones -- one was emblazoned with 'LOVE' for $24. The kind of stuff that you'd see at Woodstock or a Grateful Dead concert. Photos of John Lennon and Jim Morrison lined the floor -- the store looks like it's still being put together. Also spotted were some very cute sundresses -- also $24. The prices were very reasonable. There was the incense -- good kinds, cones and rods, and also those rope sandals that look extremely uncomfortable, but are allegedly quite the opposite. I ended up settling on a macrame water bottle holder that slings over your shoulder. A great idea for me, as I'm always losing them on my outings -- and at the price, $5, it couldn't be beat.
