From first visit, the staff was knowledgeable, helpful, and supportive. You get a small town luxury feel where it is more than just getting your hair done. Everyone really does care. Mary Ann is my main hair stylist, but you can not go wrong with anyone there. My hair is the best it's ever been and I get compliments all of the time on how great the color is and how healthy it is. That's not luck it's the effort and love put into each of my visits. I am so thankful to have found Bella Couture Salon and highly recommend to anyone! To the few bad reviews on here I've read about expectations and pricing I would like to note that quality costs money. Awards recognizing excellence are awesome and preferred. Everyone has their opinions, but it seems to me some expectations are just not realistic. A $50 hair treatment does wonders on my hair maintenance plan which I gladly pay. So good, in fact, I asked if they could squeeze in my toddler for his first haircut and for my tween girl even though I didn't have appointments for them. The ladies accommodated and everyone left super happy (even the toddler!) and everyone looked so cute! I appreciated how they checked with me before making any cuts and asked if I saw anything wonky that they missed and asked questions on what I wanted. Thank you so much for your flexibility! Rubi was a sweetheart considering I was a few minutes behind from being a little lost in the area (new resident!). She immediately greeted me with a smile and offered a beverage prior to our appointment, was a doll/extremely personable throughout, and was patient as I shared with her on which color I felt would work best for my touch up. I'll be sticking with her as my hair stylist/colorist go-to for such wonderful service, but my results turning out perfect was the cherry on the top! Thank you Rubi!

Salon cancelled my appointment, then says they can't Venmo me back my $50 deposit as only the owner has the account. Directed to call salon to process a credit card refund. Don't we all love the risk of giving businesses our credit card details over the phone? All this effort to have zero services executed. What a joke. Stay away.

I gave her a try and she has done a terrific job. She is also one of the most kind and caring people I have met. My wife has trusted Mindi for over 25 years at one point she drove 160 miles round trip when we lived in East Texas just to have Mindi cut and color her hair. My wife was diagnosed with Parkinson's 3 years ago and Mindi and the other ladies at this salon treat her so kindly and always lift her spirits when she comes in the shop. First, the cosmetologist colored my hair black (the correct color I wanted), HOWEVER, they didn't put any "gel" or "plastic" behind my head (between my head and my shirt collar) BEFORE coloring my hair, such that SOME of the coloring PERMANENTLY stained the inside of my shirt collar. After trying to REMOVE the STAIN inside my shirt collar, as it simply wouldn't come out, I ended up throwing my shirt away in the trash! In addition, the hair coloring wasn't "seared in". What I mean by this is that every time I tried to use a towel on my hair to wipe away the "wet feeling", the towel I used was STAINED with hair coloring! I had to wash my towel out to remove the hair coloring STAINS on it every time I wiped my hair with it. I ended up washing my hair twice-a-day EVERYDAY for three full days, in order to NOT have any more STAINING on my towels. The cost for all of this was: $155.00, including a 20% tip. STAY AWAY from this PLACE PERMANENTLY!

There isn't a single one of my crazy ideas that she has shied away from. She is just always up for an adventure, and never afraid of a challenge. Best of all, she will take you on this hair journey as safely as possible. I think it says a lot about a stylist when they are not willing to compromise the integrity of your hair for the sake of a quick buck. It shows that she cares about what she does and about her clients. Also, Chelsea as a human being is just a damn delight! Her interests run the gamut from animals, to true crime, to gardening.. you name it! So to be insanely talented at what you do, but also be just a bad ass person to sit with for a couple hours.. what more could you ask for? I am eternally sad she has moved on from Austin.
