I went to this Fascinations and was very pleased with the store, the selections and the staff. I wish I would have known about the backroom. Was told about the backroom by a friend who said that's were they have all the S&M and Bondage gear which I am really into. Guess it gives me an excuse to go back there. I always go to fascinations to buy pantyhose or Halloween costumes, or for work (bartender) and I never had a bad experience on the others locations but in this location this is the second time the workers don't know how to treat their customers, I was on the phone with another coworker and she was FaceTime me because she was at another location of fascination and she was showing me that they don't have white bunny ears so I show her that location that I was they had but the worker walk towards me and she said I can not be on FaceTime showing the store around and I reply I'm just showing her that you guys have the ears that we need for work and it seems that she didn't care and she keep yelling at me I need to close the phone, so because she was not listening I decided to leave the store and not buy nothing, on my way out the cashier told me you cannot be on the phone when I was on my way out not even recording the store my face was just showing on the screen and she just saw how the other worker told me already, I just turned and said I'm leaving the store. As a young female going in alone (I wanted to pick up some stuff to surprise my hubby with) I was VERY nervous going into a place like this in the west side of Phoenix. I was really surprised when I got in there. They have a great assortment of items, and even top-of-the-line products. Everything from movies to toys to clothing to bachelorette party items. I've been in several of the Fascinations stores around town, and this hands down is my favorite. I have no qualms coming to this store alone or with my husband, as the parking lot is well-lit at night and there are no "dark corners" in the store. The clothing section of this store is awesome, but they could use a little more in the jewelry department, imho. The toy selection is ample, as is their lube/candle/oil selection. This location is my favorite. They have a great selection of clothing and intimate toys. The sales staff is always friendly and professional. They can really explain some of the more adventurous stuff so you don't feel like a dumb dumb. It was recommended that I apply for a manager position here - I was very excited because I saw it as a wonderful opportunity to show my skills and knowledge off to the world. I have my certification in sexaul pleasure and health and I saw it as a great opportunity to showcase my knowledge and help people have wonderful experiences. A week and some change went by and I finally got a reply asking for an interview. I was so excited! I went in to the interview and everything was going fine until they told me that what I was being interviewed for was a part time sales associate position. I specifically stated in the email I sent to them that I was looking for a full time manager position and they allowed me to go all the way through until the interview to tell me it was for the exact opposite of what I was looking for. I feel disrespected and my time was wasted. No proper communication was given and it was clear that they did not care about me or my time. I had called out of work for this interview. I feel like I was slapped in the face. I know my worth as a potential employee and they couldn't have cared less. read more

I was treated very unfairly my first time at Fascinations. As soon as I walked in i was asked to put bag behind the counter, which i didnt mind af first but as soon as i looked around i see other women there with their big bag. (i had a small bag) so when i questioned the lady who took my bag she played the "i didnt hear you act and contuined to walking away. Over all it was a bad case of discrimination and unprofessional service. Yeah I understand its a sexshop but it doesnt matter. No one should be treated like this. Ever. My husband and I went here a couple of days ago to "check things out". We're pretty open to the whole sex store thing as we had been in a few over the years. This store is very nice. And CLEAN. They have a wide variaty of lubes,movies, toys, books, lingerie, shoes, etc. Their prices are pretty decent. I absolutely adore this store. I'm not such a big fan of the prices, because of course there are plenty of items there that I wanted to get for my sexual needs- but they are more pricey. However, I was able to find a few items within my price range that I would like to get and one that I have gotten. I must say, it works amazing for how low it's priced. The staff is very friendly and extremely informative. An associate stayed with me for about 20-30 minutes while I tried to make up my mind between a few different products. Another associate there that night even offered up suggestions and her personal likings, which was very helpful in deciding which product to get. They definitely want to make sure that you leave there with exactly what you went in there for- and are happy with it too! There are most definitely a few things in there that are pretty close to impulse purchases. Thankfully being on a tighter budget kept me from buying too many things. All in all, this is a fabulous store! Great variety, pretty decent prices, and great employees. =) I recommend this store to everyone! read more

The selection at this place is amazing. It's a nice sized store, decent prices, and several lovely staff members. I have visited this Fascinations twice within the last two weeks. The first time was 10/20 to try on costumes. I am a curvy girl, but not fat by any means. The XL did not come up over my hips. Alright, fine, so they cater to skinny girls. Whatever. Not thrilled, but not the worst thing in the world. The woman who helped us during trying on costumes was very sweet and incredibly helpful. Instead of purchasing a costume like I originally went in for, I ended up purchasing a small vibe. Upon check out, I paid with my regular debit card without presenting an ID, and gave the cashier (a tall, slender black man) my information to sign up for their loyalty program. I left fairly happy. I went back on 10/27 to look at some items and to assist a friend in purchasing an item. We were not in for longer than 15 minutes. This time there were two different employees, and the manager in the store. The two employees who were behind the desk were incredibly rude. I first attempted to have them look up my information for the loyalty program. My information was not anywhere in their systems. Needless to say, that upset me. I had earned a dollar in store credit already. That dollar is now lost. I attempted a $60+ transaction. This time I attempted to pay with a payroll card. My payroll card does not have my name on it, it has my company's name on it. I was asked to present ID, so I gave it to her. She would not accept it since it did not have my name on it. While I understood (and understand), I was upset. I was trying to make a purchase, I was not ID'd the previous time, just a week earlier, my information was not in the system from just a week earlier, and these employees were hollering and dancing around behind the counter while I am upset. My friend paid for her purchase, and luckily my husband had some cash, so we paid for some of our purchase and walked out. I spoke to the manager briefly before leaving, and she seemed willing to speak to the two employees. Although she did include the caveat "I never get complaints about those two." It is unacceptable for a pair of employees to be goofing around and being rowdy while a customer is in front of them attempting to check out. Based solely on my first visit, even with the mess up with my loyalty information, I would have rated this store four or five stars. I will likely be venturing out to another store, despite this one being closest. If the two women aren't in, I may be willing to shop at this store again. read more

I went into this store/location a while ago since I was in the area, I am a Model-Dancer and asked an employee which was an older lady for a particular item which she did not know off, I then proceeded to ask another employee which directed me to an area selection which I was looking for, seems like the younger employee was more knowledgeable about the store merchandise. At the check-out I noticed that the older lady was standing there and proceeded to check me out at the cash register and she gave me 50% off my items, wow, I guess just for the inconvenience! I asked her what her name was and she told me Tamera, I told her thanks and I learned that is what store employees get also, so she had no problem giving me a discount! I went back to this store a couple of times hoping she would give me some more hook-up discounts % but she was not in, I do not know if she had already retired. I have not been back, its nice to know a person that can help you out in any way especially with any discounts! I shop at other lingerie stores and they do not offer high discounts like this place did! read more

Well, I don't know what's going on in there they must be redecorating or something..been here several times and everything was not where it was supposed to be.. The last time before this was a horrible experience no help at all & this was not to much different. The employee's are younger & don't have a clue as to what's good or not ...Boy, they had a couple of real knowledgeable people working there at one time...whio made plenty of suggestions and actually took you around and showed you almose everything.. Too bad they are not still there....Unfortunately this is the only one on myside of town unless I go to the one by my friends house ..but not over that way too much.. I have been coming to this store for a while - never feel awkward; the store is clean and bright as is the parking lot, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I had bought a toy but had to exchange it because when I tested it at home it was just too noisy (scared the heck out of my cat *g*). Had absolutely no problem with the exchange, and Jess was very helpful with suggestions on a replacement. I ended up buying one that was a bit more expensive, but definitely quieter! read more

I have bee in this store many times and have to say that i really enjoy the atmosphere as well as the customer service i have received. I really like the staff here and how much knowledge they have on thier products that are on the shelfs. I needed some help with one of thier products not knowing which to buy and the staff helped me with the better product which was considerably cheaper than the product i was thinking of buying. now that is what i like about them, they are not out to get your mighty dollar and get you to buy a product that is not something you really want.
