Helen is incredible for deep tissue, especially hip work. She goes deep, she's effective, and she is not afraid to work through tension. This is not a light, spa-style massage. It's therapeutic, intentional, and results-driven. Exactly what I want. Heajin specializes in Thai and lymphatic massage, and she is phenomenal. Thai massage is more like assisted stretching, and she incorporates it beautifully. She also took time to explain lymphatic flow, gave me tips on how to support it at home, and clearly cares about long-term wellbeing, not just the session itself. One thing to note: at Unwind, therapists may get on the table with you, especially for Thai or deep tissue work. That's part of the technique and something to be aware of if you're new to that style, but for me it speaks to how seriously they take proper body mechanics and effectiveness. The space is calm, professional, and welcoming, and the level of skill here is outstanding. If you want thoughtful, strong, therapeutic massage from practitioners who really know the body, I highly recommend Unwind.

I am sometimes skeptical when smaller masseuses do deep tissue but Evelyn really got to the knots. I was trying to fight sleep the whole massage. When I go back, I will definitely ask for her again! Kula and our physical therapist Megan Hartnett. Jonathan's assessment was incredibly thorough and thoughtful. I reached out after calling several places but wasn't getting my questions answered. I left a message and Jonathan called back within an hour. He made time for us to come in the next day (even though he was booked solid) and even offered to meet me and my son in front of the building in case I needed help getting into the office. He and Megan Hartnett took the time to understand my son's injury, read all of the reports, asked pertinent questions, and then proceeded to explain to us the plan and process for his recovery. His first priority was getting my son mobile and moving forward safely and confidently. That level of attention gave us tremendous reassurance during what had been a very stressful experience for our family. Megan Hartlett has been equally exceptional throughout his rehabilitation. She has approached his physical therapy with such care, patience, and skill, while also knowing when to challenge him and help him recognize how much progress he is making. Watching him regain his strength, mobility, and confidence has been remarkable. We still have a ways to go but here we are over the half way mark and I'm happy. There is a big difference between simply providing treatment and truly caring about a patient's recovery. Jonathan and Megan have made us feel that difference every step of the way. We still have more of the recovery journey ahead of us, but I wanted to take a moment now to give them both a very special shout-out and to say how grateful we are for the care my son has received. But to start: He genuinely cares about his patients. Not just the one on one care for PT, but as you as a person! I get to spend an hour with him and have really good conversation along with getting excellent care. He is very "hands on" which I appreciate. He listens to your concerns. And he goes hands-on whether it be massage or be cupping. And then gives you exercises and make sure you don't leave until you understand what you have to do.
