Quality car wash with top notch customer service and very reasonable prices. $2 dollars off on Tuesdays. My friend recommended this place to me a year ago and I have taken my Audi there ever since. They only use soft towels to dry the car (no more scratches from careless use of high pressure air guns) and do a pretty thorough job inside and out. If they missed a spot they are always happy to rectify that. Customer service is excellent, but today John went above and beyond which inspired me to write my very first yelp review. After leaving Fasching's Car Wash with a gleaming black car I arrived home minutes later to discover I had somehow (???) driven through some white paint which splattered all along he side of the car. I tried to clean it off myself but it would not come off easily. Worried about how permanent the paint may become, I immediately returned to Fasching's. The attendant called for John (manager or owner?) who personally cleaned off the paint splatter and had my car washed again at no cost to me, despite me wanting to pay for it. I hadn't washed my car since I bought it off the lot (it's only been 5 months) so I REALLY needed a good cleaning for my little beauty. I decided on Fasching's because it was local and had relatively positive reviews. When I pulled up, there were several packages to choose from, ranging from 13.95-34.95 and all included vacuuming/air freshener. I went with the middle of the road option (19.95) and I do believe I got my money's worth. They really did do a good job of vacuuming my entire car and made sure both the outside and the interior were sparkling clean. All in all, it took about 20 minutes from pull- in to pull-out, which is reasonable. I only give this place 4 stars because I did notice afterwards that there was still some lint on the interior but no biggie. I would highly recommend this place for monthly washings as they are a bit pricey. read more

I have been going to Fasching's for years, they di a great job washing my car. There car detailing dept does fantastic work as well..The only complaint I have about Faschings is the one girl at the customer counter..I don't know her name but I do know she is the owners daugther, this woman is the RUDEST PERSON I have ever encountered anywhere!! I can not understand for the life of me why she is put out front to deal with customers. She has no manners and everytime I have dealt with her she is completely rude and unprofessional. I guess being the owner's daughter has it's benefits cause i can't see anyone else hiring the woman....she should take lessons from the other young latin girl who works the customer counter, this young woman is always polite, pleasant and professional...I will only go to Faschings when I know that the owner's daughter is not working! read more

I wish I would have read reviews that could have save me some grief they don't clean the interior at all and They don't know how to wipe windows. I also noticed a scratch on my windows the guy tried to fix it but I figured hey stuff happens they called the manager some short guy with a chip on his shoulder and right away attitude. I've been coming for car washes at this family owned business for many years. 95% of the time the detail taken to wash, vacuum, and clean the windows is excellent. If I'm not satisfied the manager in the drying area will handle the request/complaint with a professional response. Exceptionally dirty cars are driven through the car wash twice! Like a previous reviewer stated many of the staff have worked at this business for many years. This tells me they're treated well and addresses why everyone gets a lunch break!! I have seen few workers who don't have pride in their work. Stollen loose change, annoyance over not having exact change at he register, missed vacuuming of the back seat? I doubt these events have happened. Even when I've forgotten to ask for change for the tip, the cashiers have been more than happy to oblige with the next transaction!! I've been going to this car wash for a few years and my last few visits have been so frustrating I won't be returning. The cashiers I've encountered have been pretty rude (which I can deal with) but what I can't deal with is a sub-par car wash when that's their specialty. Each time I've left over the last few months my car still has spots on it, as do the windows, and there's still a ton of sand and crumbs on my seats and floor (I have a 3 year-old son). They've also failed to wipe down the inside of the door where you step to get in (it's an SUV) and there's still dust all over the console. I don't expect a detail-level job, but the car should at least be cleaned thoroughly. Last time I was there I had them re-vacuum the car and wipe down a few dirt spots but the cashier was totally rude about it and seemed put off. I only go to two different car washes. I would only go to Fasching's a rarely if I was in the area. I have two cars, one is a small SUV only 5 passenger like most cars, they charge more for this car when the other car wash i go to does not. They offer no air to get all the left over water off so once I leave and drive down the street i need to pull over and wipe down the car again. They charge more and do less, I no longer bring the SUV there. The final straw was my what they did to my WRX rims. Whatever they sprayed on my rims at the start of the wash completely stained my rims. The other car wash I go to does not spray the rims before the wash. When I asked to speak with Gregg and I showed him he stated that they use a orange base solution and that couldn't of done it. Duh Gregg Orange's are acid and if the solution is not diluted correctly it will stain the rims. He just kept saying they were not responsible read the signs. When I mentioned the staining to one of the guys that really likes that car he told me not to get the most expensive wash where they spray the rims get the one below that as he has seen the staining done before. Bottom line I will never return there and I will tell anyone that will listen. They close for lunch, charge more, do less and will not stand behind there mistakes. What is it with car wash places in So Cal? They are all SLOW! I remember the larger ones like Faschings and the massive one in Pasadena used to crank cars out quickly - never mattered how busy they were, the guys would crank to get cars cleaned and dried and you'd be out of there in 15-20 minutes. Now, it is easily 30 minutes. Quality is the same, but I really don't have the time required to take the car in for a wash. Hence, the car gets washed at Wally Park while I'm traveling. read more

Horrendous experience from the owner's daughter?? Good grief! I was appalled at the hostile, rude,confrontational treatment I received today. What makes matters worse is the person who treated me this way (in front of several other customers) is apparently the owner's daughter! When i came in to pay she reminded me that I was late....they close at 3:00!! I said I arrived in time and was told to proceed to the cashier. She angrily announced it was 3:03, and that I was indeed late. At this point the customers behind me got involved and agreed I was not in fact late and to stop being so rude and ridiculous. She then refused to break a twenty dollar bill that would have been used as a tip for their hard working employees, all because she was obviously in a hurry to get on with her day. She had closed out her cash drawer prematurely. Wow....just unreal service and treatment from of all people. Someone who should be grateful for the business to stay open. The customers waiting on the patio all were in agreement stating she's horrible, tons of complaints...but she's still there. God knows no other person or company would possibly offer such a person a job. If her father cares at all about the reputation of his business, it would behoove him to remove her from the public eye. One of the worst car was I've ever received. My car is less than a year old and is brand new. I brought it in for a wash this morning and everything was fine until I got my car back. As I drove out of the parking lot I noticed that the side airbag popped out. I thought, that's odd so I made a U-turn a block from the car wash place and drove back immediately. I spoke with the general manager and he "popped it back in" but there was still a gap. He told me to bring it back to the dealer and if they said it's the car wash's fault they'll take responsibility. Good service so far, but that didn't last long. I asked for that in writing because otherwise I have no proof he said that. He quickly got defensive and said there's no way he's going into the office to write that down. He added that I have no proof they did that because it could've been like that before I brought it in. First, if it was I'm sure their employees would've said something as a disclaimer to protect themselves and the business. Second, it is in my line of view while I'm driving so I'm pretty sure if it was hanging 3 inches off the side of the window I would've seen it. Third, he wanted me to explain how they would've done it. I said I don't know because I wasn't there when it happened. His response, "Exactly. So you can't prove that we did it." All the while I stayed calm because I didn't want to create a scene. I told him all I'm saying is that my car wasn't like that prior to the wash. He then proceeded with saying the situation is ridiculous and tried to usher me into my car because his friend came to show him something on his phone. Talk about customer service. BEWARE!! What a nightmare. Just went in to get a simple car wash and left with a damaged car! I have been here a few times in the past and was just "meh" about it, nothing special. First I believe I paid way too much for a simple car wash and now it is going to cost me a lot more to repair the damaged caused by this car wash. When I saw the signal that my car was done, I walked the car (like I usually do) and saw some deep scratches on the side panel and of course it wasn't their fault. They said it was already there and it was impossible that their machines could do that. And this is what the manager said, so I asked for the owner (Geri). She came out and of course backed her manager with no hesitation and said that it had to have been there before the car went through their wash and I just never noticed it. The car is 3 years old and has never been in an accident and it was a deep scratch that is noticeable from 100ft. End of story, nothing was offered and no apology was made and I was sent on my way. I usually don't write reviews but I had to open a account just to convey this message. I really hope management sees this or one of their associates tells them. I have been getting all of my cars washed here for the last 15 years. They have always done a great job in the past. I was surprised to see a while ago on yelp they only had 2 or 3 stars. It did not stop me from going but I did start noticing things. They weren't as thorough with the vacuuming as they were before. I even had to take it back once for a second vacuum. One time the dash wasn't wiped thoroughly either. This weekend I decided to wash one of my cars. Upon vacuuming I noticed the front floor mat was not vacuumed properly. This car gets washed once a week there. The dirt that was in the corners and underneath the mat could not have been built up in one week. They had to have skipped that for at least 4-5 washes. One of my back floor mats wasn't even buttoned back up. They pulled that one out but didn't buckle it back. Just plain lazy. That is the result of management. They really need to up the standards to where they use to be. I really hope management gets wind of this because I will still continue to go there. I am looking forward to being able to expect the great car washes I use to get. It must start from the management level. read more

My car was flooded when it backed up on my street from rain. I brought it in to Faschings and Greg was extremely helpful. Everyone was so nice! They got all the water out and shampooed the carpet then gave me a free car wash. My car looked amazing afterward and showed no signs of ever being flooded. It also smelled great! I see that Fasching's has two and a half stars. That's one and half too many. The one star is for a decent job on washing the outside part of the car, but if you want them to do an even half decent job to the interior, go somewhere else or do it yourself. First, they had to re-vacuum the car because I complained. I stopped for gas on the way home and decided to check more closely. The inside of the two backdoors were literally untouched and saw that they did a lousy job vacuuming just inside the back doors. I went back and was told that they do not clean the inside of the doors (although they cleaned the inside of the front doors - albeit not well). The manager pissed me off so much that I just took my keys back, went home, and finished cleaning the car. I should have checked with my wife before going there because had she known she would have told me to go somewhere else. She had gone there a few weeks ago and was really disappointed with the job they did. AND THEY CHARGE YOU OVER $20, TO ADD INSULT TO INJURY. read more

I'd like to begin by saying I have been to every car wash in Altadena, and Pasadena, but Fasching's Car Wash in Arcadia is by far the best I have ever been too. It's the attention to detail and friendly service that amazed me. When I pulled in I immediately felt like I know the guys that work there. I purchased the Blue coral wax for $34.99 which is the best and complete package they have, it took around 45 minutes which may seem long but I'd want them to spend that much time on my car and make sure its perfect before they hand back the keys. They have a relaxing and friendly enviroment and waiting area for customers along with reasonable prices. I'll definetly be coming back here for all my car-wash needs. 5/5! read more

I've been coming to Faschings for years and regretfully the quality of service has greatly declined. For example, today I paid extra for Armor All and they forgot to add. I called them back to complete it and the work was extremely poor. Spotty and uneven. Additionally, center console of the car was not cleaned. This is the second trip where I've had to call them back. Today I complained to the front desk and they directed me to the car wash manager. I have been going to this car wash for approximately 8 yrs. I have taken various types of vehicles over the years and have always had a good experience. Yesterday, I took my white vehicle in, because it had been 4 months since it had been washed and I could no longer see out the windshield. What pray thee could have cause the 5 star rating? My car was so bad they gave it a partial hand wash and then put it thru the machine twice. TWICE. Goes to show they will do what is necessary to get your car clean. Every now and then I try a lower priced car wash, but it never comes close to Fasching's. If by chance I see a little spot, they are more than happy to take care of it right now. I am a long-time customer of Faschings Car Wash. Today the cashier, who is apparently the manager's daughter, inadvertently deducted $414.20 from my checking account. She promptly voided the transaction, and advised me of her error, albeit in a mechanical tone and insensitive tone. As a result, my checking account shows the $414.00 deduction in the processing status, which negatively impacted my account, resulting in my checking account having insufficient funds. I called Fashings to advise the cashier, and see what could be done. The cashier told me she voided the transaction, and had given me a receipt, and that the void should take a couple of days. Again, this information was conveyed in a very rude, and unapologetic manner. I demanded to speak with the manager, and the call was transferred to someone who agreed that this was not right, but to call back in a few minutes to speak with "Jerry". When I spoke with Jerry, she told me this had happened before, and I should contact my credit card company. I see where her daughter inherited her "lovely" people skills. No offers for free car washes were made to me, or any sincere attempt to keep a long-standing customer was made. read more

I just got on to Yelp to rate this place and saw the three stars. It's worth less in my opinion. I have been going here for years. Two block away from my house. I was never completely happy with my car wash here anyway, but since it's close, I deal with it. Today I came for a car wash. I borrowed the air blowing stick to blow out crumbs from my daughters car seat. Kids eat in the car. Their car seats have little cookie, bread crumbs etc...so as I was using the air stick, I was told by the grumpy Caucasian man (apparently he is the owner) that this is not self service and I am not allowed to use their equipment. I asked him "would you guys help me vacummn up the car seat then?" But of course, they just vacummn the floor. So my car is only half semi clean as my kids car seat still have a lot of crumbs. Never going back to this car wash again. So unaccomadating. . What is the big deal anyway? I am not asking for extra service! Bad business model if you ask me. read more

Avoid this place..I took a brand new car into this car wash for it's first wash and detail. I got into the car and saw that they scratched my computer dash screen. The manager was rude and refused to even entertain that he was responsible. Told me "they do not clean computer screens. That is untrue, electronics attract dust and there was dust free when I got into it. I asked to speak with Mr Fasching. What a mistake. He just kept repeating they do not use anything that would scratch my screen. He told me if his manager saw it then he did not need to see it, it was not their responsibility. So basically he called me a liar. Totally rude unprofessional jerk. Many good car washes in the area. Got a car you care about? By pass this place, they don't care about you or your car.
