Ive been trying to set up an appointment for a months been promised they would call back but they never do. I would call every week to ask what the status is but no one can give me an answer. I get ask the same questions pertaining to pregnancy again and again and provided my insurance info again and again: Everyone that answers the phone is just oblivious of the process. If you have any other option, take it. I don't mind Dr. Meyers, who've I've been seeing since the beginning of my pregnancy, but I do mind the 2+ hour (at least) wait times, the constant overbooking, the lack of response when you call, etc. Lastly, I have never seen the waiting area being cleaned/sanitized even though it's a revolving door of patients and is always packed. If you're looking to have labs done at Foundation Laboratory, I highly recommend going to the location down the street (located at 1331 W Ave. J). The people are nicer, the wait times are shorter, and it seems much more sanitary overall. If you have literally NO other option: bring food + water, headphones, and plenty of hand sanitizer. read more

First of all SH** place . Equipment was dirty as hell and the staff is a joke I feel sorry for the girls that feel so miserable working there that they have to take it out on patients. They have you waiting hours on end. I was waiting and they completely skipped me and took in a girl that came in after me that was waiting about 15-20min while I was there for over 40min!!! I confronted them about it and they easily caught an attitude with me saying "we didn't skip you" after I pointed out that the girl that came in after me was seen first after I was there for over 40min they gave me a sh** "shut up" apology and made me wait another 15min to be seen. It took me 2 years to get an appointment with them because they kept rescheduling and pushing back my appointments. I was already nervous as it was my first time seeing an obgyn the dr examined and whole time he was smiling and laughing trying to explain whatever the hell it was that he was trying to explain JUST for them to send me home and tell me they'll call me to let me know the results then out of nowhere he's not working in the office anymore so I have to find a new obgyn??? They never even called me for the results nor did they call me to inform me he won't be in office anymore they just sent me a letter like 2 damn months later letting me know he's not working there anymore. This OB/GYN is not well equipped to handle the demand. When I scheduled my first appointment for my recent pregnancy i waited about 3 weeks for the next available one. On appointment day expect to wait 2 hours or more after being checked in. No one can give you a clear reason why the wait time is long. There are fliers posted acknowledging the wait and requesting your patience. But two hours or more? Even before COVID precautions the wait time was ridiculous. Once I'm in the exam room Dr. Myers and her attending nurse are very apologetic for the wait and thank you for your patience. Dr. Myers is kind, thorough and willing to talk about any test results, questions or concerns. She does take her time with her patients. I would recommend this office for Dr. Myers. Otherwise, if you value your time, want efficienct an medical/office staff it would be best to choose another office. read more

I am updating my former review. Sometimes you do have to wait alittle longer than expected. But once you are seen the nurses, (especially one in particular whom I always forget to get her name) the ultrasound tech and especially my doctor Dr. Meyer are very kind and attentive. When I leave I have a peace of mind knowing that my visit was thorough. Like I said only thing though is some visits you are waiting to be called wondering if they forgot you but they do have lots of patients and possibly overbook. read more

There isn't a 0 star option. This facility was not only over booked, but absolutely filthy. The first appointment landed a used and not yet cleaned room after waiting 3 hours. Dirty instruments everywhere. Second apt, again 3 hours of waiting, the file they had was incomplete, didn't have the ultrasound, didn't know why I was there. The room was filthy. Dr. Farid's practice WaS once decent, he delivered my first 2 kids.... And in 2013 Dr.warren from his practice delivered my 3rd child, but like all reviews here had a very bad experience! Staff are high school grads, no experience no respect or sympathy. They are not mothers so they don't know s*** I went to this office for my 3rd pregnancy thinking it would be ok since my last pregnancy experience in 2007 was ok. But little was I WRONG! the wait is wayyyyy unacceptable! It's extremely hot and stuffy in there.. turn on ac you get enough money from alllll Ur patients insurance. It's filthy of dirt ! Dr Rodney Francis from Dr. Farid's office was supposed to replace an IUD in me. Instead he added a second one without taking out the first one. I found out months after it happened by having xrays done at my Chiropractor's office. I was flabbergasted. When I took Dr. Francis a copy of the xray he looked at me and shrugged his shoulders and said it happens sometimes like it was no big deal. I feel for all the new and former mamas that come to this office. This office and the manager that runs it are all very unprofessional and rude to the moms that come here for care. I have personally witnessed multiple people tell the front office how inconsiderate they are to patient calls and in office care. They disregarded my needs as a new mom and did whatever they wanted even when I had requested specifics. They will leave you on hold for over 20 minutes and then hang up on you. This has happened multiple times to me personally. I even addressed the issues with the office manager and she didn't take responsibility for how her team operates, instead she hung up on me as well. They do the bare minimum to ensure the practice doesn't get shut down but eventually there will be enough complaints that they will get shut down. STEER CLEAR of this practice if you can. No new mom deserves to feel like she's not being heard or cared for properly ESPECIALLY if it's her first child. This office is an example of people who don't actually appreciate the job they do and the moms they help but are only really in it for the money that's made. They would not be up and running if it wasn't for the moms that have no choice but to be seen at their facility. Truly praying no mom dies while in their care because of the lack of care. read more

I wish I didn't have to put a star, they don't even deserve one. If you have a PPO insurance policy, do yourself a favor and do not go here. The front and back office run some sort of scam and steal your money. They claim to verify your insurance but they don't. Here's my story: by the time I started going to this doctors office my annual deductible and co insurance was already paid for the year, so technically I should of had to pay anything. When I was told I had to pay a $40 co pay every visit and asked I was told by the office manager that it was what my insurance company is showing I owe. So I paid $40 every visit from Aug 2021 to Dec 2021. Jan 2022 came along and surprisingly, in order to be seen, I had to pay my annual deductible In full, which was $1500. I was having concerns in my pregnancy so I had to see the dr. The office manager said that they bill the insurance company as a maternity global billing so at the end of the pregnancy if there is any money owed back to me then I will get a refund. Well, they never reported to the insurance company that I paid the deductible so all other medical bills I am having to pay because I technically haven't met my annual deductible. On top of that they billed my insurance company after my child was born and was paid in full for their services and I have yet to receive my refund from my deductible that was paid in Jan. Called the office and no manager will call me back. So there is some insurance fraud going on with this office manager and I am going through sources to get an investigation going. Please save yourself the hassle. This office caused so much more stress on me during my pregnancy than what should of been. Dr. Meyers is awesome, but the office and management needs to be reconstructed because it's terrible. read more

My experience here was cool in when I had my daughter in 2013. Only issue I had then was Dr Rodney Francis he had no empathy no charisma and he made the visits miserable after while. He never checked on me during the Cesarean surgery that I was having. Now in 2017 I decide to come back mainly because I didn't feel like committing to the valley or LA to see a Dr, I ended up having to settle. So now I'm upset more than ever, because they moved my date to today and they changed my doctor without letting me know. Which meant I had to sit in the lobby more than an hour before being prepped for surgery. I'm livid! read more

This was my doctor many years ago and left for a reason. First of all he was a great doctor when I had him I never had any complains about that but the wait in the waiting room is horrible!!! The last time I was there I left without seeing him or any other doctor. I waited for over 2 hours never had my name being called. I remembered there was over 10 people ahead of me. I left and never came back to this place ever again. Waiting room was literally jammed packed with people you couldn't sit down. Who ever makes appointments for this office sucks. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do yourself a favor and avoid this Dr's office at any cost. It doesn't even deserve a one star! I had an appointment in June but two days before my appointment they called and said that they had to reschedule me. So guess what? I had to schedule an appointment for July. This made my appointment two months out. They have several doctors in that office but the one that owns it is Dr. Farid, he has nothing but bad reviews. Anyone that I ask about him that has seen him always has something negative to say about him. I was afraid to go there but figured if I could see one of the other doctors than I would be Ok. The day of my appointment. I walk into a waiting room that was spilling out with patients and pregnant woman. I waited for an hour and went up to the counter to ask how much longer it will take. She wouldn't go back or call anyone to check. She was lazy and didn't care. She said that it will be a few minutes. I found out that this is the line they give everyone. One hour later (after two hours of waiting) I went up to the counter to find out how much longer I will be waiting and the Dr. Farid's wife that works at the front dest gives me the same line that it will be a few minutes. I explained that I had kids to pick up and couldn't wait much longer! I waited another 30 minutes and went back up again. She just avoided my and continued on with her personal conversation totally ignoring me. I stepped outside to contact my referring office and asked them to refer me elsewhere that I was not going to sit there and wait all day. I walked in and by now I had been there for about 3 hours. She lies to me and says that I was next. This is another lie they tell customers. I spoke to another person that walked out just like I had and they told her the same lie. I explained to Dr. Farid's wife that they have people overbooked and there is no wifi, no magazines and no television to occupy your time as you are waiting. I told her that waiting this long was not acceptable. She asked if I would like to reschedule my appointment? I said NO! I asked myself is this woman crazy? She does not address all their shortcomings and all the time that I sat there waiting. She didn't care. She was just trying to bring me back in so she can score my insurance money. Two days later I get a message by one of her assistants that she needs me to call his wife back to make an appointment. I called back and explained that I will not be back, never be back! Today 9-24-14 I get a message back from another one of their assistant Debbie. She was calling to make an appointment for me. These people never stop. PLEASE KNOW THAT THEY OVERBOOK SO THAT THEY CAN RAKE IN THE INSURANCE MONEY. THAT PLACE IS A GOLD MINE FOR THAT. THIS IS THEIR GOAL. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU, YOUR TIME OR YOUR CONCERNS. IT'S ALL ABOUT THE MONEY NOTHING BUT THE MONEY. THEIR POCKET BOOK IS WHAT MATTERS. THEY ARE RUDE AND INCONSIDERATE WITH YOUR TIME BECAUSE YOU DO NOT MATTER, YOU ARE JUST THERE TO BRING IN THE MONEY. This place is extremely unprofessional. The staff is rude and condescending. Simple referrals are delayed and do not happen in a timely manner. My wife was transferred to this office after I was transferred within my work from out of the area. My wife was high risk with complications and at week 38 was finally referred to a specialist after the doctor made a call personally to another office. I dropped off FMLA paperwork to enable myself to take time off from work to care for my wife following an emergency C - section and was told it would be 5-7 business days. This is unacceptable. My physician would regularly complete this same paperwork and hand it to me during the same visit. I spoke with a supervisor and she assured me that it would be expedited. I strongly recommend finding another office with similar services. This practice thrives on those that do not have insurance that allow alternative options. I should also mention that this place is VERY dirty in the waiting room and in the rooms. read more

I've never had a problem with waiting to get seen! I love how friendly they are as soon as you walk in the door. The nurses are so nice too.

I've never had to wait almost 2 hours after my scheduled appointment to be seen! The waiting room is filthy with stained chairs & trash on the seats as well as the floors. The patients waiting in the waiting room are always loud. Blasting music, watching videos, or talking loudly on their phones. This place has extra chromosome monkeys working in the front office. The nurses there never did their work when it came to them working on my moms file. They never updated when my mom had appointments nor did they reserve her a spot to get her C-section done at exactly 38 weeks because mind you my mother is pregnant with twins and is high risk. This is place disgust me because they are a bunch off lazy workers there. Once they also left my mom hooked up to the non stress machine for over an hour when the nurse told her she would be back in a few and that lady ended up going home. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE FOR YOUR PRENATAL CARE! They do not know what they are doing. Its sad that a front desk personal can't do what they are suppose to and make the whole place look like junk. Had a visit on 12/17/13. Was NOT told over the phone that they only accept cash or check for co-pay. Get there, try to pay co-pay with credit card, told I need to go to an ATM to get cash. They offer to let me do that after my appointment. In the appointment, the female doctor is curt and seems disgusted by me. Cursory breast exam, cursory vaginal exam, no rectal exam. I explain that I have a lump near my rectal area I'd like checked. She glances down at me, says it looks normal and leaves. Never received a call regarding the results of my pap smear. I leave upset and disgusted. I go to an ATM, get cash for the $30 co-pay. ATMs only dispense $20s so I come back with $40 cash. The receptionist seems disgusted that I'm interrupting her chatting time and says they don't make change. She says I can "carry the balance to my next visit" and I tell her that I'm definitely never coming back. She seems put out, tells me to sit in the waiting room (which I do for the next 10 minutes) while she tracks down change. Gyno visits are somewhat uncomfortable to begin with, but I left feeling like less than a human being. Would never recommend this place to anyone. read more

I started going to Dr. Farid's Office November of 2013 for treatments of Artificial Insemination. I wasn't sure what to expect at first and just thought I'd give it a chance, but holy NO!!!!! I've never dealt with a more unprofessional staff in my entire life! The girls that run the front office are so rude and disorganized. Its very sad, because I actually loved my Dr. there, but i just can't do it anymore! They are very unhelpful when you call in for anything and you will get nowhere. They always lost my paper work and prices for my appointments were always changing. It just seemed a little off. The last thing you should be doing in a situation where your trying to get pregnant or are currently pregnant is ALWAYS stressing out about stuff like this. The only reason I'm okay with rating a 1 is because the Doctor was good ... First of all the wait time is beyond terrible. The front receptionist I spoke with asked me how much my OWN deductible was. I answered with what I assumed I would have to pay that day and she said "OK so can I collect that"? I had to tell her No and make her check my insurance! DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE!! Dr. Farid was my OB/GYN over 10 years ago. I was NOT impressed with anything regarding this office. I have never heard ANYTHING positive about him! 1) The office regularly overbooked & had a tiny waiting room. 2) I had to have a tumor removed. He gutted me like a fish (I've had 3 abdominal surgeries since & have not experienced such pain since). 3) He moved my surgery up a day & gave me less than 12 hours notice. I had many work related tasks that had to be finished that were affected by his office's poor planning & lack of proper notice. They had no consideration for my time. 4) The day of the surgery he a) gave the wrong info to the hospital & they almost removed the wrong ovary, b) was asleep at the time of the surgery & the nurse had to call & wake him up so my surgery started an hour late while I was laying in the hallway, c) the hospital staff spoke poorly about him until they realized I could hear them, d) he told my family that I should of had a full hysterectomy which was WAY TO EVASIVE and then e) he told my boyfriend to get me pregnant ASAP. 5) Dr. Farid left me in the middle of a procedure with all the equipment inside me for over 45 minutes! I couldn't move for fear that I would damage my body & when I yelled for help no one came. read more

The wait time is horrible!! Everyone is there at least 2 hrs. I was rescheduled for my appt at least 3 times. My original appointment was in February I didn't get seen until May. And when I finally got to My appt they made me wait an hour in the lobby to call me up and tell me they don't take my insurance. The office staff is extremely pleasant, courteous, professional and assists with my needs in a timely manner! This is extremely needed when it comes to my unborn baby and regular check ups. I have too specifically send love and appreciation to the office manager Violet, she takes care of anything and everything needed to make sure I have the proper care, prescriptions and paperwork necessary. This is freaking ridiculous. My appointment was at 10:30 . It is now 1:15 and I still have not seen the dr. I was called to a room probably to shut me up because I keep asking what is taking so long. Now I'm waiting in this room naked .. which has been 20 mins. This office makes this beautiful experience, horrible! With my first son down in the San Fernando valley I literally only waited no more then 20 mins.. Do I really have to give the office a Star ? I have not dealt with un professional staff as this office. I called because I get a referral from Dr. Hunt that a pap smear is needed. The letter says to call Them, give them the info, I have waited 2 weeks. The letter states I AM APPROVED for the pap smear. Just make appointment. The approval is only good until sept 29, 2018. The staff tells me, I can not make appointment because they don't have any openings until Nov 2018. Today is June 1 st. I really have to wait 6 months for a appointment Oh, I have to start the process all over, since my Approval Expires on Sept 29. I had to call five or six times before anyone even answered the phone. It was 3 30 pm. Not Lunch time....It took me another 8 or 9 minutes for staff to tell me they do not have me in their system. They had me do a switch with my insurance because supposedly my insurance is not good enough with authorizations. I felt like i was pressured so I made the switch at the moment which I now regret because its giving me so many issues ,I went in today and they told me that I was not showing active with blueshield so violet wanted me to waste my minutes and go back on my phone to let them know to update me on their system! I was really upset ,,, why do they have us switch if there's going to be issues. That is horrible!! And worst of all I barely found out my primary doctor was changed So I made a complaint today.sounds more like fraud read more
