That could be a 45 to 60 minute wait. They say just use the online portal, but the portal is only good for non-urgent contact, with Rx requests taking up to 3 business days. AMA needs to hire additional triage nurses and add one or more phone lines.

This is NOT MEC's policy. Loved ones are treated like drivers and kept out. Healthcare has made some advantages over the last decades -- this is not one of them. Dr. Herzig helped us decide where and with whom to schedule the surgery, and visited him in the hospital as he recovered. She was attentive and caring throughout the process, and later visited him when he was back in the hospital for care of a different problem. I have also had some issues, and have had colonoscopies every 5 years. For both of us, Dr. Herzig has always been available after the procedure, reviewed findings with us, and always supportive and clear. We both have very high regard for Dr. Herzig.
