I've been a loyal client at Fantasy Nails for a while, and recently learned that there's a new owner something I only found out when arriving for my scheduled appt. At my last appt the previous owner introduced me to a new nail tech. They didn't mention they were leaving, just that I'd have someone new taking care of my nails. The new nail tech was very nice and did a great job she was also excited to do new designs with me at my next appt. I also have a volunteer for my company who comes with me to get her nails done who has autism and they were very respectful and helpful to her. Since the new ownership, I've noticed several positive changes. Even though prices have increased slightly, there's also been a noticeable improvement in quality. I really appreciate the new disposable pedicure kits, which ensure a more hygienic experience since tools aren't shared. The polish selection has also been upgraded, featuring high-quality options and exciting new designs like glow-in-the-dark and cat-eye colors, along with a much wider variety overall. I've been back three times for my scheduled appointments, and each time my nails have come out exactly how I requested. The service has been professional, consistent, and detail-oriented. Although the prices are a bit higher, the enhancements in quality and experience make it worthwhile. I continue to feel comfortable and confident with my appointments and results. read more

A friend recommended this place, so I made a pedicure appointment. Sandy was the nail tech who took care of me, and she was so sweet! While there, I asked if there was time for a full set, and she said yes. She did a pedicure AND a full set in just under an hour, and did a good job! While Sandy was extremely nice and did a good job of explaining my first experience with SNS nails, I have to say how disappointed I am in the result. They are chunky and bumpy, even though I had her go back over then and then I even had to go back in to fix my first finger, they are still a mess. I think she could have been much more thorough with the sanding and she would have noticed the large grooves. I am still a fan of the process and will give it another try, somewhere else. This nail salon was OK. I walked in without an appointment to get a fill in. I waited about 10 minutes before I was seated l. The nail tech was very friendly and made me feel comfortable. The salon was nice for the most part. My nails came out OK but I felt like he was rushing to get to the other people that had walked in. That was the fastest fill in ever. The polish is a little messy but it's not terrible. It's not amazing either so hence the 3 star rating. read more

I've never been to this salon before so I was in the area and thought I'd give them a try. I get to the door and and the sign says must make an appointment, ok cool, so I think since I'm here I will just walk in and schedule an appointment. The young man walks up to the desk and said I have to call to make an appointment. I'm fine making an appointment but the fact you refused to let me make an appointment at that moment let me know I won't be back... When I moved to Dallas/Hiram area I couldn't find a nail shop to save my soul, everyone I went to was just bad, lots of them only did boring short square French tip basic nails ... I used to drive all the way to Marietta for nails and then someone told me about Fantasy nails and so I went have been only there for over a year. I love Daniel he's the best if you want a special look or design he does it all! They are super accommodating and nice and my nails are badass every time!! I went to get my eyebrows done yesterday. Great service considering covid! I did have to wait but not long- less than 10 mins. The tables had shields and everyone was wearing a mask. I'm not sure who did my eyebrows, but they turned out amazing! I will be going back! read more

If I could give them a negative I would, I sat for over an hour to get me services on Saturday, I hgot my nails done there twice now but for some reason, me not really wanting to go anywhere else to get my brows done, I decided to let them do it. Well this is what happened. Burned the phuck outta me and I went back the next day to see what they were gonna do, they basically hand me a cotton ball with some Neosporin on it and tell me that it's nothing that they can do!! Worst SNS and treatment ever!! I told the girl I needed my nails cut down. She said she would make them the same length as the broken nail I had. I said NO not that short. Guess what? She made them that short. Then she tried to use gel as a top coat and put my hands under UV. I flat out said no. So she did something else that looks terrible AND I had to sit under the dryers. Half the point of SNS is no UV and no dry time. I'm seriously upset!! read more

Love love love! I came in about 30 mins before they closed and had to wait about 10 minutes as everyone was helping customers. When I got to a table the guy was very nice, understood what I wanted done with my nails and dos not rush! There were a few other people who came trailing in after closing and they did not turn them away and they were very polite. Respect for this place. Will be coming again!! read more

It was difficult for the gentleman to assist me over the telephone. I told him that I would stop by to ask further questions. He agreed. I arrived at the salon at 6:40 p.m. To my surprise the door was locked. I tapped on the glass because the salon displayed a close time of 7:00 p.m. A woman began to converse with another employee, then unlocked and slightly cracked the door to say "We're closed." I said "It's not 7:00. I am here to ask a couple of questions." She closed the door back - conversed with someone - and said to me again "We're closed." I said "It's not 7:00 yet and all I want to do is ask a couple of questions." she was steadily shaking her head as I spoke repeating "closed" a couple times more. I replied "So, you can't answer a ques...wait, never mind. I am not begging to be your customer - my money is green anywhere I spend it. ...and, it won't ever be here." I swiftly turned on my heels and proceeded towards my car. She said "Sorry..." I politely turned, and said "Oh no, don't be sorry! I won't be back." My friend, Jennifer, was on the phone with me during this ordeal. She highly recommended another salon. Since her nails always look beautiful and classy, I high-tailed it down the street to Classic Nails. Classic Nails answered my questions. Very pleased with the three minute interaction, I made an appointment for today (February 1, 2019). I heard that they are a little pricey, but I don't care. I would rather patronize an establishment that demonstrates its appreciation of its clients with responsiveness, great customer service and excellent quality work. The man who did my gel manicure took his time and was very friendly. One of the better gel manicures I've had; a lot of times other salons try to cut corners. My only complaint is the place smells like a sewage line broke somewhere and the place needs a good scrubbing. read more

I am new to the area and saw Fantasy Nails right near me in Hiram, Ga. I called to make an appointment and when I did I was asked what I wanted done. I only needed a change in toe nail color, regular polish not gel, no clipping at all. I also needed my finger nails just clipped. No color at all to remove or apply. I was told over the phone I should just be a walk-in for these simple and not time consuming processes. When I got there a few day later about 1 pm, I was told they do not take walk-ins ever but if I wanted to wait it would be a 2 hour wait. I told them that was a very long wait after being told to walk-in and the man said "Then go somewhere else". I did. I will never go there again. read more

My favorite place for nails. Since I moved to Georgia a year ago I have tried four different nail shops and this one by far is the best my nails come out the right shape, if I mess them up in the dryer they fix them. The employees are polite helpful and nice. The older lady - never got her name used the drill so much, I am sure I have paper thin nails now. This was my first (Sunday, Sept. 2) and last visit. She did not follow through with using the powder acrylic as I have gotten for so long. She did regular acrylic over my own nails with gel polish - I could service with this. The problem started with her constant drilling, she burned me a few times, removed skin where my finger was in pain the rest of the day. Because she even filed the hell out of the acrylic, my nails are too thin and chipped the very next day. I noticed two other nails are developing snagged edges and a small chip that will get worse with usage. I have been getting my nails done for over 20 years now and this is the WORST outcome I have ever had. read more

My friend usually goes here and convinced me to try her place. She knows I'm very picky about my nails. I ended up getting my nails removed and a new set put back on and a mani. The woman was so accommodating. I asked her to actually push my cuticles up and remove them. Most other places just file them down where they aren't visible and within days they are a mess, the nails lift at the bed and if you attempt to push them back and cut them then you end up with a week old fill in looking like a month old fill in. The only complaint I have is that they aren't right down the street and even then I will definitely be back. read more

Love Fantasy Nails. I found this nail salon when I moved to the area just by chance. I was greeted timely and asked what services I needed. My technician was Sandy Lee and she understood my requests. I've continued to patron this establishment from that date, which has now led me to write a review. I believe that if service consistently meets your expectations, it warrants feedback. The staff is friendly and gets to know their repeat customers to the point where Sandy often recommends different gel colors for me now that she knows my style. It's not uncommon to see other clients in the salon laughing and sharing personal stories with some of the other techs. The prices are comparable to other salons in my opinion, and the techs seem to keep up with trends and can usually imitate design requests. Overall, I would recommend this nail salon. read more

Never in my life have I ever gone anywhere that charged more for a manicure than it did to get my SPA pedicure! Management has changed!! I come here occasionally and only one of the new people are decent with nails. I know how to do nails but when not in the mood to do my own I bring my OWN acrylic powder. This time I brought a light pink acrylic powder for a fill in. These fools tried to upcharge me and wanted me to pay $35 for a fill in and kept telling me my powder was NOT acrylic. The container SAYS acrylic on it! I use quality products all with labels and not the cheap dental acrylic shit they like to use. They were arguing that acrylics don't come in colors and they are only clear then started yelling at me and told me not to come back. What the hell?! Acrylics come in several shades! Ladies do your research, please don't believe what these chop shop places tell you. They were SO rude and loud and I bet 100% they wouldn't have behaved that way if other customers were there. terrible. as i walked in prior to going to work, there was only two other customers there, but all FIVE employees told me to wait. It being 10 am , i had an hour to until work @ 11. .. 10:30 came and i was still waiting until finally the lady called me over to sit, i asked her if she could do my fill in within 25 minutes, and she said yes. They tried to upsell me, which is understandable bc my job requires up selling, but they were very pressuring and asked more than 6 times to give me something 'better' , the list on the wall said the fill ins were $15. But the lady doing my nails told me it was $25, trying to get out of there i didn't care about the price, nor care to question it, it was 11:05 and only 6 nails were filled in , i had to call in late to work, upsetting my boss. Finally i said i had to leave, it being 11:20, and did not have time to get a color just plain acrylics , the man at the front only charged me $15 which the lady was upset about. STOP!!! BEWARE OF FANTASY NAILS ON WENDY BAGWELL PKWY IN HIRAM, GA I went to this facility 6/29/2014 to get a pedicure. Saw that the worker had gotten already used equipment to use on my feet. I asked her to please use those that have gone through the cleaning process in the autoclave cleaning machine. She insisted that those were cleaned because she rinsed them. To appease me she could have gotten clean ones. The owner or manager came over to me, let the water out of the pedicure tub and told me to leave. Obviously, he didn't realize there is a nail salon on every corner. Ladies and men, you must BEWARE of places who don't or who refuse to use clean equipment. Needless to say I'm contacting the health department to report this facility. I will NEVER visit this facility again. What a horrible first impression. Too many of these type facilities have unlicensed workers performing the work and are using unclean equipment. You must have a license to do hair and they are highly regulated, but being able to work in a nail salon is like walking into a store to purchase something. THIS MUST STOP and if no one complains, this will continue. I have gotten one infection from unclean equipment and I'll be damn if I get another one. This place should be CLOSED!! read more

Horrible customer service my first impression of this place disgusted. I went in to get a fill in with regular polish at first I wanted the price, so I asked the guy ignored me and proceeded to tell me pick my color. I asked again he then said 35$ I said 35$ for a regular fill in? He said yep almost sarcastically so I left and went to P& L nails right across the street paid 17$ for a fill 18$ for my toes 35$ total. I went back and told him your gonna lose alot of customers for overcharging people ! I guess he figured I was a dumb little black girl because I look young. I told him your pricing is ridiculous.
