From the moment they arrived, they were professional, engaging, and so great with all of the kids. What really stood out was how inclusive they were--every child felt involved and excited, while still making sure the birthday boy got that extra special attention. The kids had an absolute blast playing games, getting the chance to spray the fire hose, and the highlight of the day: riding on the fire truck! Communication leading up to the party was excellent, everything ran smoothly, and you could tell Frank and his team genuinely enjoy what they do. Fantastic Fire Dept. made my little grandsons dream come true. Chris and staff joined us for his 4th birthday party. We couldn't of had a better day. To see the smile on the kids faces and then notice the adults enjoying it just as much was worth every penny spent. We hired the crew at fantastic fire department for our sons 3rd birthday. We had kids ranging from 2-6. Everyone had a blast... including the parents. Great photo opportunities, and the birthday boy was given special treatment with going first with the activities, and getting a book and small toy at the end. He had so much fun, and I couldn't have been more pleased with how everything turned out. I highly recommend this event, and company!! As a side note, they do arrive with lights and sirens, and it's quite the spectacle...so fun for us...however, our neighbors called the cops concerned with the noise. it's only for an hour, and the police just kept on driving with out any hassle. read more

Yesterday was our first interaction with Fantastic Fire Department at the Foam Frenzy at Odysea Aquarium courtyard. While it's very fun, I feel they needed and extra person to handle the crowd and kids needs. They were just 2 employees working. They had 2 buckets for water and a few water blasters. Many kids were disappointed because they were not able to play with those. But the reason of the 3 stars is the attitude of blonde lady (she should be about 25-30 years old. And she is not really fit to deal with kids, I asked a few questions and she she barely answered. She stayed around but I didn't really see she was "working or making any effort " involved to make the experience enjoyable for anyone, like if she was there against her will. In the other hand the guy with a ponytail was very good handling kids. read more

The fantastic fire team made my sons 4th birthday the most stress free, fun experience that we will all remember forever! The kids had a blast and I and the other parents had huge smiles on our faces watching them explore the fire truck, play games and run around getting sprayed by the firehose. The team was so engaged with the kids and made it really special. Such a fun birthday party! Chris was very professional throughout the entire booking process. 100% on communication and reliability. They pulled up to the party and I teared up because all of the kids were so excited. They did a wonderful job throughout the party and had everything perfectly scheduled. The kids had so much fun. Such a great experience. When calling to book Chris was super easy to schedule with, he explained the process and was even flexible when I changed the time. He showed up early to my son's school and set up games and activities to occupy the class. Chris was great with all the kids (3 year olds) He made it informative and fun. If you have a child between 3-6, this is without a question a no brainer to do at your birthday party. We even had kids as old as 12 running around the fire truck and riding it when it was time to ride around the neighborhood. Everyone thought it was such a hit. We were happier than we even expected. The crew is amazing and so attentive with the children. For those worried about it being colder, we just did it today and it was such a hit and the kids didn't get wet at all. Total waste. These morons didn't even show up to a birthday party that was pre-scheduled. The birthday boy was in tears. Repeated calls to them, starting at the time they were supposed arrive, were met with no answer! I felt really bad for my buddy, who's son was the birthday boy. He had even paid in advance and verified Fantastic Fire Department cashed his check - and yet never showed! My best advice is don't risk ruining your child's birthday party by using these guys. read more

We had an OUTSTANDING party experience. Frank and Audrey were excellent with the four-year-olds at our grandson's birthday party. Twelve kids and lots of parents were entertained, kept busy, and joyfully SOAKED (but only if they wanted to be!) with buckets of water and fire-hose water. Fantastic Fire Department's promotional materials promise to treat the birthday child with extra-special care, and that promise was kept 100% but without slighting anyone else. The day was 117 degrees in June, and our cul-de-sac is sunny in the afternoons, but the water play and the positive attitude made everything right. The truck was 20 minutes late, but they had carefully called to make sure we knew about that hang-up. I would use this again when our grandson is even older, with no reservations. Definitely don't recommend this company. Extremely rude and unprofessional staff. They were apart of the Halloween event put on by the YMCA this year. It was a wonderful event but this company and its employees were outrageous. As the night was coming to a close, they stopped letting parents ride. It was understandable but they made the decision out of nowhere and after I waited on line for 1 hour to get my 2 year old son on the truck. He wouldn't be able to ride and the employees didn't care. They were ready to clock out. The employees were in such a rush that I heard them saying they would stick on as many kids as possible just to get it over with, though the limit was 12. Needless to say, it was an unsafe and awful experience that negatively impacted my kids. I would certainly not recommend them for your event. read more

Celebrated my twins 3rd birthday with the fantastic fire department--it was perfect! All the kids from 1yo to 10 years old enjoyed the fun! After watching the truck come down the road sirens and honking, all the kids -we had over 20, played water games explored the truck, tried on the fireman gear, sprayed the water hose and rode around the neighborhood on the truck roof! Fantastic Fire Department-Arizona's Fire Truck Adventure was so great! Our son had an absolutely amazing party! Chris was awesome to work with, he was great at communicating and getting the party scheduled. He and his team on the day of the party were all so great with the kids! Our son was the star and felt so special that he got to do some pretty awesome things with the fire team. He got to drive with Chris, shoot the water cannon (on top of the truck) with his Dad and Tim, and he got first dibs at all the experiences. This morning it was the first thing he talked about :). We all learned so much about firefighters and fighting fires, even the parents all commented how much they learned and how great the whole experience was. I'm very surprised by the review with a no-show story about Fantastic Fire. We received a written confirmation a few weeks ahead of time, a confirmation phone call the Friday before our Sunday party, and a phone call a few minutes before the truck arrived to check if all the guests were ready. The experience itself couldn't have been better: the kids had a blast with the games, loved exploring the truck, and had so much fun taking rides. And did I mention that Fantastic Fire made this experience wonderful even though there was a downpour? Best of all, they made my birthday boy feel so special. I'm sorry to hear the previous review had a no show experience. However, our experience was amazing! My three year old birthday boy was loving every minute! The truck showed up early, and had everything in order and planned. The kids loved all the water games and loved riding in the truck. Adults also loved watching the kids and exploring the truck. We booked a party for our son's 3rd Birthday in advance and of course paid a deposit of $ 100.00. We were told the balance would be withdrawn the day prior to our event, which it was. $ 200.00 We were advised that we were all set and that we would receive confirmation via mail and that we would be contacted 15-30 prior to their arrival time of 10:30am. You guessed it, NO SHOW/NO CALL until 11:10am!!! The rambling and rudeness of the owner Johnathan caught us off guard, and ended with him hanging up on me. I can't believe anyone would practice business this way. This company is garbage. 30 disappointed children, and very disgruntled parents led to a total disater of a party. Before Johnathan hung up on me he was very clear that we had nothing to worry about and that of course he would refund us our money. Well guess what? That hasn't happened yet either. Several phone calls, and texts later and still no reply. I call this a pattern, a pattern of horrible communication and horrible business. read more

We can't begin to express our appreciation to Chris and Fantastic Fire Department AZ! We had a celebration of my husband being inducted into the Fire Department Hall of Fame. I knew that we would have a lot of kids at the BBQ including our 7 grandkids and wanted to do something special and also educational for them. I ran across their site on the internet and took my chances...I am so thankful that I did! Not only did they send email confirmations of the time, place, gate code etc. But I had to change the time and they were so gracious to accommodate me. They showed up on time, lights and sirens and the kids were all so excited. Not only did they do a wonderful job entertaining the kids from 14 to a year old, but also entertained our adult guests just as well! Giving rides on the fire truck, educating them on the fire truck, letting them climb on it, try on gear.. the list goes on and on. I don't normally take the time to write reviews..but my husband and I felt compelled to do so since they really made our celebration memorable for all.
