I try not to be to harsh on businesses and I've gone to this nail salon quite a few times so it took a few bad experiences before finally resorting to this. While the staff is friendly I would not recommend getting your nails done there, I paid almost $60 for my current set, very basic, just black in color and here it is two days later and the paint is coming up on 4 of them already. This is not the first time this has happened and at first I thought it was just an accident as these things do happen but it's everytime or the nails come up within a week... very poor quality read more

My only day off and I decided to get a pedicure/nails at Fancy Nails on Northwest Freeway, Oklahoma City, OK. I was in the chair having a pedicure and another young lady came in for the same services. They started her pedicure and the manager came to her and said yes I can do your nails the young lady said you can do them, the manager said yes. So I mentioned it to the young lady who was doing my pedicure that I was here first why haven't someone come to do my nails. I don't want to be here all day. Later the manager came to me and said the young lady had an appointment. I told the manager no she didn't I heard your conversation with her and you told her you can do her nails. I get 3 services done at this location and I drive the extra 20 mins to get them done. 1st- eye brows by the owner Holly. zero stars. So, I'm sitting at the nail salon. I walked in grabbed a color and sat down. A white woman walks in with her daughter, they ask her what she needs, tells her to pick a color and sit down. Once one tech is finish, she walks over and prepares the pedicure chairs, then motions for the woman and her daughter to come over. I waited, said nothing. The next tech walked past me and told two women sitting in the pedicure chairs that she was preparing to take them over to have their nails done. I placed the nail color I chose on their counter and walked out. This is the type of thing that happens to POCs in other countries (all the time) and they are told, it's not racism. Will not be going back . Gotten my nails done by Kim various times . Went in without an appointment and they had a new girl give me a full set . Took 2 hours . ALL MY NAILS LIFTED 2 days later !!! First and for most. This place is the most UNPROFESSIONAL salon we have ever been to. This is the second time we have had issues with the service. What really took me over the edge was when my sister had to get BOTH toe nails removed due to a fungus that she came in contact with when she went to get a pedicure done there. This is the second time i had came to get my nails done, and the person i scheduled with both times NEVER touched my nails or even acknowledged me. The first time i scheduled with Kim, i was told to come at 10am. Somehow she double booked, i thought ok that's fine it happens. When she came in she didn't acknowledge me for about 20-30mins then as we spoke about her doing my nails she never issued and apology. If I could give a 0 I would!! Service was horrible from the very beginning!!! I went with my 2 daughters and 2 of her friends, we brought along another daughter and a niece, so 4 adults and 3 little girls, who were extremely excited about getting their nails painted, my older daughter had her 1 year old as did her friend. We were all getting pedicures and 2 of us full sets and then 3 girls getting nails painted, so we were all together close to $250 worth of business and possibly another $70 in tip for their employees. They sat us in the pedicure chairs, almost all the other people had been offered some sort of drink, not our group, I know it sounds like a great deal of kids, but they were actually quieter than the group of ladies chatting across the way!! Three of our group got their pedicures started but I was left alone with my daughter who was getting bored, they finally started on mine, then they took two of the little girls, but didn't come get my daughter, we sent her over, but she came back because they wouldn't get her a chair, then they left the girls, 2 5 year old and a 6 year old by themselves, we were about 50 ft away, one of the kids dropped a polish bottle and it shattered, the girls were then told they were being too restless and they wouldn't do their nails (one girl had only one nail completed). The girls were extremely upset but not screaming or wailing just quietly tearful, they then sent a girl to ask if any of us wanted our fingers done, then stated due to the kids we couldn't even though the other two ladies were going to watch the children while our nails were being done. So we were basically kicked out, and then they wanted us to pay full price even though there is also a discount if you do a manicure and a pedicure and the fact their service was horrible and they were extremely rude to us and our children!! They stated one of their customers complained our children were being loud even though there was multiple children with other parents and women who were there in a group were much louder than we were, not to mention the 2 TVs and music playing!!! I will never go back, not to mention the most important thing, my feet felt rougher than when I went in!! For an awful pedicure they charged too much. The manager was extremely rude, unprofessional, and unapologetic!! Don't go unless you like being treated with complete disrespect and disregard!! read more

They are absolutely amazing, I went to a nail shop on Nw 23rd called classic nails and showed them a design the reviews were not wrong about the lady Who owned the shop Named Chi, She is Over the top money Hungy, she was gonna charge me 140$ that's way overboard for what I was asking for, I called a friend who recommended me to Fancy Nails a Man there did my nails and I wish I would have gotten his name because he did a better job then the picture due to the picture I gave him being kind of blurry, but I absolutely love my nails, He did them for 75 with a 15$ tip so all together I spent 95 which is so much more reasonable then what chi from classic nails tried to charge me no wonder why her shop is going down hill, I just wish I would have read the reviews before I waisted my time, Anyways I got many compliments on my nails and I would highly recommend Fancy's read more

Had my eyebrows waxed here a few days ago. I had just left a meeting in the building south of Fancy Nails and, having just been surrounded by young, impeccably groomed women, felt acutely aware of my need for a little upkeep. So, like a shining beacon in the distance, there sit Fancy Nails. Well, OK, I was looking at their dumpsters in the back while an employee from a different business in the strip mall smoked a quick cigarette, but yeah. If I'm remembering correctly, there's a kind of cheesy Tiki hut vibe inside and it was, admittedly, kind of garish. There was someone getting their hair cut, two people doing manicures, and someone else cleaning on the other side, where I'm guessing pedicures are done. There were only a handful of customers around, but this was like at 11:00 A.M. on a Tuesday. I only had to wait a couple minutes and then an employee took me a rear room for the wax. From here, pretty standard stuff - she had me lie down, pain was inflicted, hair removed. I will, however, add that she took great care in first trimming my eyebrows. I've had a lot of eyebrow waxes over the years and I've been surprised by how many people don't trim the brows first (or at all?). Really pleased with how my brows look - not too full or thin, and with a nice arch. Topping it off, it was $7, to which I added a $3 tip - making it still $5 less than my last, not as good, wax was before tip. The only reason I'm not going with a 5 is I feel like I had one relatively small service here; while I felt like my eyebrow wax was a 5, I can't vouch for any other service they provide. I have my nails done, a pedicure once in a while and color change on my toes. I will only have Kim do my nails. My problem is - if I make an appointment, don't let a walkin come in and cause my appt to run late. I made the appointment to get Kim and I am repeat business, I would think I had priority over walkins. My other problem - Kim will be doing my nails and someone needs eyebrows waxed so she leaves me to go do the wax. I just feel like maybe I'm not getting the hint, that she doesn't want to do my nails because I think both situations is rude. I have also noticed the clients are loud and obnoxious. My nail and pedicure time is me time. I'm not there to hear the facetime conversation between a girl and her socialy unacceptable boyfriend and his friends in the background. Children run amok, get in my purse or watch videos without headphones - if I wanted to listen to this chaos I'd go to a daycare.
