I do not recommend Luxury Nails in Elmhurst. During my…read morepedicure, the technician, Katie, cut my foot with the grating tool, causing it to bleed. The bleeding would not stop, so I had to leave before my pedicure was even finished. What disappointed me most was the owner's response. Instead of apologizing or showing concern, the owner told me that the grating tool is sharp and that this happens very often. I was also told that cutting customers with the grating tool is "common practice" and that I would be okay in a few days. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience. I am in a lot of pain, and what should have been a relaxing pedicure turned into a painful and upsetting experience. Accidents can happen, but the lack of accountability and customer care was unacceptable. I left feeling dismissed and disappointed. I expected a sincere apology, genuine concern, and a commitment to customer safety, but received neither.
