Came in for a simple manicure no length just a gel and no length. I requested that multiple times just to repeatedly be asked if I wanted length, and around the 4th time they finally accepted the answer. It seems they weren't r too happy with it because then they gave me the most basic service ever. Didn't even shape my nails or cut my cuticles. Luckily I don't think I was charged for, but it definitely wasn't was I asked for. Also I could've done a better job on my own. I came in hoping to spend $40 for a clean looking set of nails and left with something I am kinda embarrassed of. It likes like I failed to DIY a gel set at home alone. Note I'm stuck with this for 2 months unless I want to pay someone else to remove it. Edit for update- I was able to peel off all the nails with little to no effort since they weren't properly prepped. Each nail came off in one piece. read more

I came in for a Shellac Pedicure, went with the "Fancy" option. Their prices are in line with the market. You can tell they stay busy in this nail salon, as they are conveniently located in the HEB parking lot behind whataburger. Seguin isn't that big and there weren't many nail shops that popped up close by so it was nice to be able to walk in and be seated immediately although they could've also just told me to come back instead of seating me and then having me wait for 20 min before they were able to actually start servicing me. They don't immediately offer a beverage which I feel like I wouldn't have minded waiting so much if I at least was offered a refreshment. Overall the staff is pretty nice. I came in with red shellac and a nail that needed overlay. The lady who did my feet wasn't in uniform like the rest of the workers which makes me feel like she was probably on the management team. She can be a little rough on the feet, which caused a long scratch on the side of my foot when she was doing the callus removal with a cheese grater and another little scratch on my left big toe. When she went in for the overlay she definitely was a little heavy with the acetone application caused excruciating pain in a cut she caused. I asked for something to soothe the spot or chemical remover multiple times... nobody mentioned or offered a first aid kit which was concerning. I was really hoping to like this nail shop since I live close by but I have a couple cuts on my feet that I didn't anticipate before I arrived and I can't say I was thrilled with anything about the service or ambience in the shop. All in all will I be back? Probably but only because of the proximity and nobody has recommended any other shops. If I do come back I'll definitely be asking for a different tech to do my feet probably the techs who name is Amy. I watched her take care of her client very well while I was getting my service done and was a little jealous of how good the massage looked. read more

My regular salon wasbooked and had people waiting. THIS SHOULD OF BEEN A SIGN. Went to this salon. Had the owner KIM do my nails. They were short, I had overlays on them had been in and out of the hospital so, yep short. She filed them, applied the solar powder. Began filling with the drill cut my 3 times, the 1st time she cut me my nail bed went to bleeding, she used her nail glue and put it on the bleeding spot stopping the blood putting the nail glue back for her next clinet. GROSS. After more burns cuts with the files. She explained the reason my nails looked funny was and she had cut me was MY NAILS WERE TOO SHORT! will not go back. read more

Not impressed! Had a gift certificate to use and so glad I didn't pay full prices. They piled in 8 people in a matter of minutes for pedicures and we sat and waited while there was only one lady who started with the first person. If they don't have enough people to work they shouldn't get you in the chair with your feet soaking and take over an hour to even start your pedicure. Then tell you they can only do the basic because theirs too many people to get to. Be honest and say it's going to be awhile and let the customer decide to wait or not. Won't be back!! read more

OK so I went in with an appointment and everything and knew what kind of design I wanted what kind of colors I wanted. I explained that to the nail tech and when she got done with the with the first color, I thought she was gonna go in for the second you know in the third color but she didn't she I guess didn't understand me as well as I thought. I explained it you know, so that that point you know she said I can start all over or I could take them off and I'm like OK will just add to it like I don't know what I was thinking with black like I don't even like black nails and I got black nails so I mean I'll have to use these for For two weeks or three until I could get different nails but yeah, I change my nails to just straight black I would not recommend this place to anybody I would do your research on nail tech scan do you know I thought she was gonna be a pretty good nail tech because the last person that she did I looked at her nails and their nails looked bomb as hell and I looked at my nails I'm like what the fuck is this you know it's kind of like it's just it's a solid color and you still fuck it up but yeah I'll show you guys the picture that I wanted in the picture that I got but fuck no I didn't pay for those nails. Horrible!! This is my second time here and both times, same story. I tried this salon the first time, by my sister in laws suggestion. It was a nice experience, but just a day later, my gel polish started lifting, by the next day, they were all coming off. This time, my sister in law and niece were going to get their nails done here, I was hesitant, but my daughter and I decided to join them anyway. We got them done Sat morning. We all got gel/shellac. Within a couple of hours, one my daughter's nails had chipped. By that evening, one of my niece's nails had peeled off. It's now Mon morning and ALL of mine have peeled off. And not because of picking or trying to get them off, they just peeled off like they were cheap stickers! I paid $130, plus $30 tip, for a day and a half manicure!! I will now have to go get a file to scuff up the gel polish she put on so I can apply my Color. I have gone to this location several times. It has never been what I would call "great", but I've always gotten a decent pedicure. That last two times I went I got a pedicure and an eyebrow/lip wax (one of the times). When I got my upper lip waxed the last time, the woman who did it, got wax down on my lip and caused a sore when she pulled the was off. It was sore after she did it and then I had an actual abrasion on my lip for days after. I have never had that happen before. Then, this last time, with the pedicure, I felt like no one in the facility spoke English. The man who was doing my pedicure actually tapped my feet with the tools he was using and yelled stuff at me in his language in order for me to position my feet the way he wanted. I didn't understand what he wanted and just kept tapping my feet......not relaxing at all. There was a woman sitting across from me who asked the woman doing her pedicure to not use a certain tool on one of her nails and the woman never understood her. The woman next to her also didn't understand and they had to stop to go get the manager to tell her what the customer was saying. I believe the people who work there should AT LEAST be able to communicate with their customers. Also, more times than not, when I go, I am told to go to a chair and I will wait for at least 45 minutes with my feet soaking before anyone gets to me. read more

Not a fan. The manicure was done lightening fast, as in too fast for quality or to make me feel like I am treating myself (which is what this whole business is about). Manicurist didn't bother to use sanitized tools or place them to be sanitized after me. Gross. Two second hand massage. No service mentality. I was instructed to move my coat right after I was polished. I am not trying to bust-a princess but they usually move your belongings for you because of the nature of your nails being wet? $15: for a regular mani with this lack of service and rush? No thanks. Also, about 3 people tried to up-sell me about 3X each. I get it but once by one person is enough. I know what I want and it ISN'T shellac. Sorry I want a regular manicure. Won't come here again. I've been here twice and each time the nails broke off within three days. I recently went back to get two nails fix, apparently it was a very long wait to just get two nails fix considering how many workers they do have, and it wasn't as busy as it was when I got a full set 3 days ago And that was just a 30 min wait. I just needed two nails fixed, I would of payed to if I had to. But it wasn't convenient for them. As much as I did get my nails done back then, there was only one nail technician and she had her own store along with her husband. And anyone who come in who had a broken nail she would fix because it only took a few minutes and I didn't mind. And thats just one person. yoI have over 5-10 workers and couldn't even fix two nails. I went to Fancy Nails, trying to find a clean, organized nail salon, after the guys at NATURAL NAILS did a bad job. Nice, clean, comfortable, great atmosphere. Asked how much it would be to do fills, repairs and shorten, with shellac ...price quoted was not bad. Waited for about 15 minutes in the chair, no one offered to show me the colors, or a drink. I was rushed to pick a color that she couldn't even remember the number, and after 3 times reminding her, still got wrong color! Then came the real torture! "I sorry. I cut you. Yeah! I've had fewer cuts on my fingers working barbed wire without gloves! My nails were short, as I requested, but my forefinger and ring finger nails are almost as wide as my thumb, and the color was completely uneven...like dollar store 5 year old polish. And to top that, it was an additional $10. No, I did NOT leave a tip. My tip to you, keep looking. read more

The tools were not sanitized, the file had been well used prior to my visit and the end result was awful. Every nail was shaped differently! It seemed like a nice, clean place, and they looked efficient, as they weren't busy when we arrived (mid day on a Thursday) Maybe that should've been a sign. I came in with a coworker (2 pedicures) and 40 minutes into Her pedicure, mine still wasn't started.. An hour later, after my toes are prunes, a woman began my pedicure. She stopped after the cuticles on one foot, and proceeded to go and clean the now empty pedicure basins, with the same gloves that she was using for my feet. Gross. I'm pretty sure that's a health code violation. When I told her I was in a time crunch, she acted like I was the problem, and proceeded to half ass the entire pedicure.
