I came in only looking for one simple service--to fix a couple of my toenails to match the pedicure I had already gotten somewhere else. When I sat down, the person helping me convinced me that she could redo all of my toes so they would be the same color. Before agreeing, I specifically asked how long it would take because I explained that I had very limited time. I was told it would be very quick, so I agreed. Unfortunately, I ended up being there for about 50 minutes and left with nothing that I originally asked for. I came in with a French tip and was originally told that could be recreated. I was also told the acrylic/dip would match the color I already had. Instead, clear acrylic was applied and then painted over with pink polish. When I tried to explain that I felt the polish was being applied too thick, the response I received was, "I don't understand." At that point, I honestly became uncomfortable continuing to explain what I wanted. I could see that they have many loyal customers, and I did not want to come across as rude or be the person complaining, so I accepted the service, paid, and left. What is most disappointing is that I would have been completely fine if they had simply told me from the beginning that they could not recreate what I already had or that they did not have enough time. I would have thanked them and gone somewhere else. Instead, I agreed to additional services based on what I was told could be done, spent almost an hour there, and left with something completely different from what I asked for. I understand that not every salon or technician will be able to recreate another salon's work, and that is okay. I just wish there had been better communication and honesty about what could actually be done before I agreed to the service. read more

I took my granddaughter with me to get mani pedis. We were able to get in to get our nails done right away. That was great. Unfortunately, they did not understand what we were saying. I asked for them to leave my nail length to the tip of my fingertips. They got four out of 10 correct. That leaves six that were way shorter than I had requested. The second issue is, they didn't wait for my nails to dry, and so at least a couple of Nails were messed up. Not bad but enough to be able to tell. My Nails lasted for one day, the next day they were chipping away already. Of course, after spending almost $100 (just on my nails and feet) this was quite frustrating. Terrible! Filthy and rude! I've given this place too many chances. Bloody cuticles every time and they only remove gel by using a dremel sanding tool...no acetone or soaking was used at all. The last time I got a pedicure and they removed the gel it made my toes so sore. So sore that my big toenail cracked and has been injured for over a month. The young man who did it had filthy nails and was rude. No one speaks a word of English so you can't communicate. I figured I would get a manicure yesterday and I'm not sure why I went there again. I got the deluxe manicure and it felt like kids were giving it. Two people worked on me. The towels were dirty, the polish was old. Not one bottle looked clean and then the worst part was two but ing hot towels were put on my arms. It was so hot that I got first degree burns. The bloody cuticles and pain added to the terrible experience along with a terrible polish application. When leaving, I was giving a $10 tip for a $40 manicure. She stood there begging and sad faced with her hand out asking for more money. I threw down $6 more dollars and left. They will never get my money again. read more

I went back to get it removed and my nails were so over drilled to take off the gel and I was left with painful, thin, red, ruined nails. This place is very dirty first of all. Next, the lady who did my nails didn't file very well because she kept filing into my skin rather than on the nail. Next, when she used the nails drill to thin down a couple thick nails, it was dirty with nail dust from previous clients/s. A lot of nail salons unfortunately are filthy and most of them don't speak English so they talk to each other in their language which is rude knowing that their clients don't understand, so who knows what they are saying. I do my own gel nails at home. I have natural, strong and fairly long nails that very rarely break. My index fingernail cracked close to my nail bed and I wanted it repaired with Acrylic. When asked what I wanted I said "one nail repair done with acrylic." I was seated at a table that clearly had someone's chopped off, dirty nails laying on the towel in front of me. I was asked two more times what I wanted, both times stating I wanted an acrylic overlay on my broken nail. The tech didn't even fold the towel over the gross nails, let alone get an actually clean towel. She prepped my nail and then started applying product to my broken nail. I assumed it was acrylic as that's what I asked for, but nope, it turns out it was pink gel. I was very disappointed and she simply said it matches my other nails better. No, now I have one fingernail with pink gel over it ( I could have put my own clear gel on at home.) that immediately broke again when I got home. I knew gel wasn't going to be strong enough which is why I asked for acrylic. I paid $5 plus tip for something I didn't want and it wasn't until I put my money on the table that she used her bare hands to pick up the previous patrons dirty nails clippings up and threw them directly onto the floor. Right before we got there they sat a walk in party of 3. And then told us that they had no room and we would just have to come back another time. I told them that we made an appointment but they really didn't show any care for that and even remembered making the appointment with me. My daughter was really upset. In addition to the unfriendly service, which I can deal with most times, and the lack of quality nail polish, the tools were NOT clean and they don't care. The nail tech used a cuticle cutter that had not been cleaned since the last client. When I said, "Excuse me, before you use that me, i see someone else's cuticles on the tool." Have been in twice recently for a gel manicure and both times it turned out great! The gel lasted a long time and either didn't chip or barely did on a finger or two. I have even gotten compliments on my nails from customers at my work! They are always super friendly and welcoming whenever I come in. The first of the recent manicures I hadn't gotten my cuticles done in a very long time and it was definitely a lot of work, but the lady who did the manicure was very kind and patient throughout the whole thing. I have been going here off/on since moving to the valley 4 years ago. I thought I found my place here! Nope! This review is for the OWNER or whoever sits at the first station!!!!! The owner who sits at the first station messed my nails up! It has been 3 weeks since my last fill and asked they be shortened a little. Normally they drill them down. Not today. She whipped out the nail clippers and chopped them off! I didn't realize how short they were until she cut them all down. I told her that she cut them short and told me we can soak them off (in acetone) and replace them. NO. WE WONT. As a licensed cosmo even I know better than to soak my fingers in straight acetone! There are healthier ways to do it!! On top of they were not even straight!!!! She knew I was pissed because after having me wash my nails she let someone else finish. This women actually straightened my nails out and I just had her throw a top coat on. I normally do a French but these babies are too short. 1 I'm not like what's the friken point in having nails if they're so short AND she charged me to have them cut down!!!!!!!! I never get changed unless I'm drastically changing the length myself! Ridiculous! I believe Jenny or Jacky has done my nails in the past and IF I come back she's who I'll see from now on.
