I normally only come here for eyebrow waxes because I personally like to do my own mani and pedis at home. However, if I ever do get them, it is because I have no time and have something special to show up to. I got two manis here and see why they have such low ratings. They rush to service the most people in a day, which sacrifices the quality of their work. The outcome was expected, but it still displeases me that it cost the health and length of my nails. On top of that, their gel quality is cheap because it would lift and chip after barely a week. I'm happy getting my eyebrows done here, so I wish I could leave a separate positive rating for that, but I would avoid getting my nails done here at all costs and keep my healthy natural nails read more

I called ahead for a pedicure. Was told to 10 minutes. I arrived and was just sat down. Waited 45 minutes and not even the plastic was placed on the tub. They attended 2 people that arrived there after me that were walkins. I got up to leave and they had the audacity to ask if I was going to come back later. The worse customer service ever! read more

Great quality service. Always a great vibe walking into the salon. A shout out to Tracy! So gentle, my nails are always perfectly done. Walking out happy. read more

I have seen some crabby people reviews on Facebook and here, but I had a gift card so I went, without an appointment, and was pleasantly surprised. These women are hard workers and balanced all the people coming in without appointments, made sure everyone was taken care of and were kind. I always add a ten minute massage (the main reason I go), and Nina was phenomenal. My nails look great and I definitely recommend. read more

I had my nails done with dip and the lady did a great job. However she removed the previous dip with nail polish remover. Not my go to for removing previous dip. My nails look good. They were pricey. It was $40 total to have a dip manicure with cuticle removal. Ouch! I also had a pedicure done. I had to wait til manicure was done to receive a pedicure so I spent more time than I would've liked. They were able to color match the manicure and pedicure colors. For that I am thankful. However it wasn't the best pedicure I have received for again the price $26. I guess.....with only two local places they can afford to charge $$$$ be prepared to get charged for a filet mignon and receive a flank steak. I like the way my nails and toes look but I would've liked to of let paying $55 with the tip included. Nope I paid $76 when I was done. That is spa pricing. read more

Fancy Nails - BAD JOBB - Nail Salons Near Me - Fillmore, California

I recently moved to Fillmore and I was concerned about where I would get my nails and feet done. I have a favorite nail place. They are kind and fun! I have identified my go to girl. I won't tell you her name because then she'll be booked all the time. But I'm pleased. I am very very finicky and have high expectations. read more

Not sure if other review posted? This pedicure was a horrible experience. I should have paid attention to 2 stars. Worst pedicure I've ever had. The unfriendly woman cut one set of nails straight across and the other set of nails contoured. 2 toes were slightly bleeding. The polish application was terrible. Do not go here! Drive out of town for a professional pedicure. I will never go back! read more

Fancy Nails - One of 2 toes that bled - Nail Salons Near Me - Fillmore, California

Sooooo incredibly happy!! I've been coming here since the late 90s when it was Diamond Nails. I've never had a bad experience! I read all the negative reviews and I'm not sure what went wrong. But like I said I never had a bad experience. The ladies speak decent English. Always accommodating. Always helpful. Very friendly. One time I took my 10 year old daughter at the time for bday nails and the nail tech gifted her four flower designs no charge! I do not have a particular nail tech that I stay with. I trust and love all the ladies here! If you love their massage lotion, if you ask they just might sell you a bottle for cheap! Whenever I'm not sure on color, they always know which color to choose and help me decide. Of course there are many other nail salons out there and Fillmore only has one place. But what makes them stand out is how convenient they are. They are close by, prices are reasonable. Little higher than others, but your gonna spend gas going out of town. So it evens out. They offer waxing services and options for mani-pedi packages. They see men, women and children. They have a large selection or colors and designs. They did at one time have old polishes. But they have upgraded quite a bit! My gel last 2 weeks without chipping, peeling or my nails breaking. They do take credit cards. I recommend cash as they charge $2 for the cc machine. And they also recommend cash when you checking out. and will even tell you or ask you of you would like to go next door to Vons to take out cash if you forget or wasn't aware. If you are in a time crunch, just let them know what time you'd like to be done and they will always get you out and going in time WITH QUALITY! read more

I had the worst experience. I made an appointment at 10am I got there at 9:30 they didn't get me in the chair until 10:30 and then when I told them I needed a full set and a pedicure they said okay. I got my manicure done and it was at 11:30 I was done I then proceeded to wait till 12:00 to see if anyone would acknowledge me. Not until I told them I needed to go because I had been waiting for my pedicure. My nails look great but why even make an appointment because they don't hold it. The manager helps her friends that doesn't have an appointment before the people who walked in or have an appointment. When I even checked out she said can you come back later I said I have already been waiting for 2 plus hours for both things. Why should I come back she didn't say anything except I'm sorry. Worst experience I have ever had. read more

I went there today 2/22/22 for my daughter's birthday gift. They talked about how dry her skin was, she just had her cast removed. I expressed how sensitive my nails were and she used the tool and I literally started to cry. I asked for one color and they put the wrong color on. Once she was paid and tipped $20 bucks, she then spoke. I'm so happy that I'm not treated this way with Kim in Moorpark ! It's sad when your being talked about, treated bad, and rude for no reason. Be kind to your customers always. read more

first of all i don't know why this place is rated so low. they did amazing to my nails!! i asked for tracy since my mother in law recommended her and she was awesome !! edit: i actually talk back what i said. my nails are lifting only a week after (first picture) and they look super grown out. save your money and go somewhere else. read more

I been a customer for a few years it was convenient for me. But now I will have to go out town. It's been awhile since I had a pedicure and I thought I would treat myself Not only did The older lady cut my toe and it took a few days to stop hurting. She didn't do a good job. Sorry need to move on read more

Horrible horrible horrible I payed for a shitty as job and my nails look like crap I will never ever go back here my dam nails hurt so bad and they cut my finger made me bleed and didn't even clean it stupid as lady's I don't know why it get so pack when there service is horrible read more

I'm so disappointed. I really wanted this salon to be better. It's right by my house and super convenient. But during the pedicure, my toes were pinched, poked, cut (bleeding) and slapped. At one point the technician grabbed my big toe, swing my foot around and then dropped it on the towel like a piece of meat. No gentleness, no consideration, no spa experience, definitely not relaxing. Then she left to work on another customer before I was finished. What the heck? Another technician had to finish the job. Very unprofessional and stressful! read more

Worst place ever!! I came in just to have my gel color removed. They charged me $31 to change gel polish!!! That's more than I would pay for a full set! I'm so pissed! Rude women, shitty service and overpriced for this little hole in the wall. read more

My first time there yesterday and never going back. The skinny lady with glasses that helped me was sooo rude! My French tip pedicure came out horrible and must've been done in old polish because it never dried and smudged bad hours later. Also the water was cold and she scrubbed and rubbed my feet for like 2 seconds. She also started painting my fingernails in a color that didn't match the one I picked and got mad at me for pointing it out. There's a difference between dark purple and blue!! She ended up kicking me out of her spot to go with another lady like if I was too hard to deal with and was talking crap in her language. My pedicure looks messed up and I payed $27 for it Waste of money! I like professionail in SP way better. read more

Absolutely the worst place don't go there unless you have 3 hours to have your nails done. My wife had an appointment and we still waited a half hour with no luck in sight. Others with appointments have been waiting an hour also. The whole idea of making appointment is to keep an appointment. read more

Continuously go back to this nail salon in town. I've tried other salons, but it's just not the same. The ladies get to know you and will do good work. I get my mani/pedis done by the majority of the girls there except for maybe one or two. If I want something in specific, I'll wait to see Tracy, Amy, Kim or Chou. I hope I spelled that right. Overall, will keep going here. read more

This place is horrible. I've been here a few times since it's the only nail place in fillmore and more times than not I'm dissatisfied. Nail techs are very rude. Last pedicure I got I developed black spots on my toenails. Last acrylics I got were thick, lumpy and looked horrid. read more

If I could put zero stars I would. I am so dissatisfied with my pedicure, I left there happy with my French tipped toes, same day I go home and the white starts to smear off. Never again will I go here. $62 down the drain!! read more

Fancy Nails - I got them done yesterday and they look horrible! - Nail Salons Near Me - Fillmore, California

This place is horrible! I don't believe the nail techs are properly trained. I was replacing a set of Nails and they just ripped them off without soaking or taking time to remove them carefully. Instead she ended up ripping and causing bleeding from 8 of the acrylics she removed!! I did not allow them to replace the set. I then started going in for pedicures and for the most part I was very happy until my last visit. The young lady was trimming my nails and chose to rip out what could potentially turn into an ingrown. She ripped it completely out, I bled and had a swollen toe that I had problems walking on for weeks! I now drive to Ventura and the first words out of my nail tech was "who did this to your toe" I was informed that if she would of just clipped the tip instead of ripping the nail out it would have been fine. This place is terrible! Not sure why it's showing as Diamond Nails it's Fancy Nails in the Vons center I am writing about read more

Have gone to Lillian twice now, she is a very kind and helpful nail technician. She treats me very well and is eager to make me content with her service. Will be taking Lillian some oranges from our garden soon, she's that sweet! Thank you Lillian! read more

Worst in conversing english they didnt understand what I wanted for my nails. Never gonna be back there again!!

By far the worst customer service. Would never go there again! Walked in was given attitude by the owner of manager. Was there 2 months ago and my toe nails were peeling paper thin. I asked to put an acrylic on. They refused service to me said I never went to them and this looks like a year old injury????? I was disgusted they even argued with me. Then they looked at my fingers as I do dishes all day every day and they said aw you have to many hang nails to do a gel manicure. I said you are the ones who did this to my nails. They kept argueing with me. They started talking crap about me in Vietnamese. Wow. I said I was completely affended because I know that language. There attitude changed right away. But they still said they never did a pedicure on me. Which is a complete lie. They said I must have injured my toe. I want to know the owner of all the Fancy Nails. I will tell everyone my experience. I have never been treated with such disrespect. Disgusted. Will be driving an hour back to Westlake Village to where the salon owners and staff know what they are doing! Do not go there! Go at your own risk! Disgusting read more

I responded what do you mean why because that's the color I want, Then she started talking to her coworkers in her language and they and they all started snickering at that point I was absent uncomfortable I just said forget it just do whatever. Today is the last time I step in there for service. The lady with glasses that did my gel manicure is the worse. No customer service at all, very rude. You can't mess up clear gel right!!? I was wrong she only got 1/3 of my finger nails and only one quote. I mentioned it to her and starts talking to her co-workers.
