I usually don't post reviews but I was really disappointed with my last experience. I was there for over two and half hours and sat doing nothing for at least 45 min. I was sat down and they started working on my manicure which was great. I came with a friend so I'd hoped that we could do our pedicures together at the same time, but hey it happens no biggie. About half way through finishing my manicure, he just stops and tells me that they'll finish my manicure while doing my pedicure. My friend, who'd already started her pedicure, texted me to tell me that the hot water wasn't working. I asked the person if the hot water was working because if it wasn't I'd just wait for another day. He told me yes, however it wasn't and I sat there for at least 20 minutes after he'd started when he paused to take a phone call. After waiting he comes back and works some more but then leaves again randomly to go eat in the back. He literally came back still holding chicken 20 minutes later. After my pedicure was finished, they finally started working on my half completed manicure. I had powder from the SNS literally all over my entire body because he just stopped at a random point. He too came and left multiple times through out finishing it up. It would've taken probably 10-15 minutes to finish but it was extend way longer than necessary. He was even writing a check and talking to other people instead of just finishing. I'm disappointed because I'd had a decent experience there before and my roommates had recommended it to me. However, my time was completely taken advantage of and it wasn't worth the money I paid. I'll be taking my business elsewhere. read more

I loved it here! The place is so clean and organized. The people are so nice and welcoming. They had soooo many color choices compared to other nail salons. There was just an overall good vibe there. I really liked how there was just soft music in the background and that's it. I don't like when nail salons have tv's blasting on weird channels because it's doesn't give you that "spa" feeling. I decided to give the salon a shot anyways as pictures on their Facebook showed excellent work. I must say, I am so glad I went! Upon entering I was greeted nicely, and immediately was attended to (I went at a time where it was not busy) even then I would not have minded the wait. I am so picky with my nails and constantly have to be telling nail techs to fix something. Julie did my nails and for the first time ever getting my nails done I did not once have to tell her to fix something. She was very quick, efficient, and extremely friendly. I just tried this place it opened up a few months ago and I'm only coming back here from now on. The decor is so gorgeous and modern, really good atmosphere. The staff is friendly and so professional. I showed them a picture of some ombré nails I found on Pinterest and I got exactly that and I was also in and out in less than an hour. I got the deluxe pedicure and it was definitely worth the extra $6 hahah. I was worried with dip powder nails it would make them super bulbous or too thick but they turned out amazing and I even got them shaped the way I like without even asking! 10/10 would recommend it's my new go-to read more

The owner and her husband both worked on my nails today and they were SOO detail-oriented, attentive, careful, and sweet. She glued and shaped the nails and he did the ombré. Both were fantastic. I don't have much to say about any other employees, but I do know for a fact those two were INCREDIBLE. I showed them a picture of what I wanted and they made sure I was happy without me having to ask. Very aggressive and painted up onto my cuticle which he also never pushed back. Even when checking out the man who cashed me out had to fix them over the counter. One of the best nail salons I have ever been to. I came in yesterday for a pedi and a dip mani. I previously went to a salon closer to home but they absolutely ruined my natural nails. My nails were thin and so sensitive, but the tech genuinely cared and made sure he was gentle and took extra time to make my nails look absolutely phenomenal again. I have been here before and they did a great job on my pedicure. This time was so bad. The man who did my nails felt like he was rushing through it. He barley scrubbed my feet, didn't get the skin around my toenails and was violently filing them. I got gel and he pained them so sloppy that he had to scrape the polish off my skin. The location has modern decor, clean, doesn't have a strong nail salon odor, and the pedicure chairs are comfortable. My boyfriend & I walked in for a pedicure at about 4:30 today (Sunday); we were immediately helped. We got the Classic Pedicure ($26) that included a massage, callus & cuticle care, and polish! I went in today for an SNS manicure and the manicurist stabbed me accidentally with her fingernail while pushing down my skin during the filing process. I started to bleed and she gave a nonchalant "sorry" and continued. After she was done I washed my hands and was presented with a stinging from the cut. I looked at my finger only to see there was a CHUNK of my skin missing. I calmly and politely told the manager and they just said "sorry" and gave me a discount. The manicurist came over and rolled her eyes at me saying "it's not a big deal" I did not tell the manager to complain or to get a discount. I told the manager because IT SHOULD BE A CONCERN IF YOUR EMPLOYEES MAKE YOUR CUSTOMERS BLEED. I was just looking for a sincere apology that I did not receive. I've gone here since they opened up and never had any problems before. I have never felt so disrespected by someone older than me before in my life. While their work is good I will never go to a place that makes me feel this awful and stabs their customers. I did Shellac and although they look really pretty, I'm not very impressed with how they're holding up. By day 4 they all started to peel off on the edges. Also, while I was getting them done, the lady had finished and was going back with the little cuticle clipper thing and accidentally tore off part of the polish. Instead of redoing that nail she added about 7 new coats to cover up the mistake. That irritated me because it looks noticeably thicker, but I was already there for so long and needed to get back to work. TERRIBLE! If I could give lower I would! I went in just wanting a tip added and either dip or shellac on top! I was told okay and to sit there. I chose my color (yep, I was rushed) and when I chose it, they said well it's almost gone but I'll try and make it work! Umm no, I'll just pick another! So I told my technician I wanted to change my color. She made a deep sigh of just being annoyed and stomped her feet to get the colors. I chose my color. Now here comes the frustrating part. She started to add Acrylic to my nails. I have NEVER gotten acrylics and didn't want them, because I've seen how they can hurt and damage nails. When I asked her to not add it she started telling/yelling "this is what you want. This is what you asked for!". I told her no. It's not what I want. She just kept repeating that I was wrong and TRIED TO KEEP GOING! The manager finally came over and told her what to do to fix it and give me what I wanted. TO MAKE IT WORSE THEY ARE MOR EXPENSIVE! I got a mimosa and a better manicure at Red Carpet for CHEAPER! She started to do the whole process, but never asked me about the shape or length! The nails were so heavy I couldn't stand it! Unfortunately, my shellac manicure did not last the week, which is surprising. I typically go to Celebrity or Sam's Club for shellac and they last two weeks. One of my nails did not make the drive home because the technician obviously did not know hot to dry shellac and then rub alcohol on top to make it shiny. Had to come back to fix one nail and both of my hands did not make my entire 4 day trip in NOLA, which had light activity. Kind of disappointed. Will not be back anytime soon.
