The staff and service was pretty nice. I have to say my nails were looking pretty bad when I arrived. I chose the full set-powder for my nails and the spa pedicure. My hands turned out good. So directly across the street from there is a very, very nice place to get a pedicure. We were displaced from the hurricane in Houston and we're staying in college station for about a week and we saw that this place was on yelp as a decent place to go, first of all the people working there were not very friendly. Secondly, it was very un relaxing when we came in it wasn't "hi how are you ?"- it was "you know what you want?" We wanted 2 pedicures the lady said "chairs 2 and 3."Then we were handed this menu and told to pick which one we wanted - the person that did our pedicures they didn't communicate or talk with us at all. Didn't try to make conversation, didn't try to do anything, like they it was one of the worst experiences of my life and for the price that we paid to have shellac done this place is a joke! There's no way this place would've been my first choice had I already went there? I highly suggest that you look elsewhere. It hasn't even been a week and it's ready to come off. I needed a simple manicure FAST as I was last minute in a rush for my niece's wedding and this place took me, no appointment. I was happy with the place. My technician was a man, and I realized that I tend to like male nail technicians slightly better as they are very thorough and calculated. Very meticulous with steady hands. Almost like a painter. He got the job done getting in there and cleaning up the cuticle. I got knicked, drawing a bit of blood, but I don't really mind that if the job is thorough. Plus he cleaned me up well. Very happy with my shellac manicure! I paid $24 for an awesome manicure that is not chipping and left me with absolutely no hangnails! My manicurist was very sweet and spent time making sure my nails were how I liked. I'm not sure how many coats of shellac she did but it was definitely a lot and maybe that's why they look so great. On a Saturday night in College Station, there are not many places open late in order to get a manicure/pedicure, except for Linhs Nails. Initially, I called to make an appointment for my sister and I- two shellac pedicures and one dip nail. Google Maps stated that Linhs Nails was open until 7:30 and we scheduled an appointment for 6:45. A representative called to state that they could not accept us at this time and informed us that we could come at 6:40. Not a big deal, so we ended up getting to the nail salon at the aforementioned time. While getting my pedicure, the technician and I realized I had a broken toe. She wanted to shorten it (more so than I was willing to do) and I asked if there was a way we could get a tip on the nail to match the length of my other big toe. She gave me a condescending look and started speaking in another language to a different technician. After much debate, they informed me this would be $5 more. For a tip. That's ridiculous- I've never been told that at any nail salon. Also, they charged my sister extra for cuticle removal without mentioning it prior to the service and charged me $10 to remove the shellac off my toes. Instead, I asked the technician to shorten them (to my dismay), as she did not seem to want to assist with adding the tip to my nails. The reason I'm giving this amount of stars is due to the condescending look and the dissatisfaction with my toe. Yes, I could have paid more but I believe that good customer service is accommodating your customers and ensuring that they are comfortable at all times, which was not the case. read more

I just moved to College Station and was scouring the internet trying to find a new nail salon. I researched and decided to try Linh's Nails. BEST DECISION EVER! I came in with a complicated design. Linh explained the price difference between shellac and powder and consistently made sure I was happy with my design, colors, and price. Everyone was so friendly and the atmosphere was calm. HORRIBLE SALON!!! I always get dip nails at every salon I visit. I travel for a living, so I stopped by here upon nice reviews. Little did i know. My dip nails cracked 2 days after I got them done. My 4th nail cracked the 3rd day. I was very frustrated because I don't live in town and dip is not suppose to crack. They usually always stay on for 3-4 weeks. I've never had an issue in the past two years. I called them and asked for a refund or some sort of credit for next time I'm in town. She refused and was very rude. She did not even apologize and instead said "do what you want I'm not issuing you anything" In fact she tried to blame me for doing that on purpose... like I would pay so much money to ruin my own nails. I asked to speak to the owner and she wouldn't let me do that either. So I'll be filing a dispute. She was the rudest and I will definitely NEVER be coming back. Stay away. I also showed my nails at another salon. They said this salon did not do it correctly and used weird products. They used the light and shellac clear coat instead of the dip finish product. The pedicure I got was decent ang the chairs are nice. Most importantly I had an issue with a small ingrown toenail. As she should have the tech trimmed the skin not the nail and did a good job. The massage chair was nice. The place is a little dumpy, the tech seemed unhappy in general and I paid $27 for a pedicure that was supposed include a 5 minute massage. It did not seem like i got a massage but she put lotion on my calves and feet. So: decent pedicure, nice chair, poor atmosphere, poor attitude and overpriced. read more

Please choose a different location, there are better places for better prices! This was my first time going to a nail salon in the College Station/Bryan location since I am a new student at A&M. I am so sad to say that my nail experience was absolutely terrible and after requesting to speak to the manager, I was treated even worse. I will say that the staff was friendly when I was there and didn't think to have an issue afterwards. I asked for powder acrylic nails (in coffin shape) and had to switch my color decision over 3 times because they didn't have many colors in stock. After the completion of my manicure, there was a bump on my thumb from not properly filling down the powder nail color and the shape of my nails were not pretty at all. I spoke to the manager over the phone and stated that I left the College Station/Bryant area to catch a flight two days later and wasn't able to come in and fix my nails. She said that it was my fault for leaving the area and she could possibly Venmo me $10 max to get it fixed at a different location and I was not able to get a partial refund at all. I was able to quickly go to a different salon to get my nails fixed and was charged an additional $35. Although this was inconvenient, I understood since I went to a different location to get my nails fixed. The way the manager spoke to me on the phone was very hurtful, rude, and extremely unprofessional. Aside from this, I also got a shellac pedicure which chipped off in less than a week, but unfortunately, I do not want images to add. $100 later and I got nails that are different sizes and shapes. The shellac was different thicknesses which made the nail surface uneven. I asked for a design but they cut them so short the design wouldn't fit anymore. They left the hot towels on for so long that they were freezing and they just left them on my legs. I was visiting my kids and walked in with little time to get my a mani/pedi. They took me immediately and did a good job. I had dipped nails removed and got a basic gel manicure. I got an upgraded pedicure because I wanted a good massage. It was less expensive than I pay at my usual place. It's nothing fancy, but worth the money. read more

I started coming here a few months ago. I've used other people that work here to do my nails, but I hated it every time especially the pedicures. I read online to use the owner so I started using the owner Linh and was happy with her work until recently. Within a week and a half, I had 5 nails come off and bacteria/fungus started forming under one of my nails due to the nails lifting and moisture being trapped between the acrylic and my natural nail. Within 3 days, one nail came off. I went in the first time after 3 days to get one nail put back on. Linh had one of the girls in the shop do it and it looked horrible but I didn't make a big deal because I was in a rush to go to work. A week and a half later 5 nails came off. All the nails were lifting and coming off. My hair would get caught in my nails (which is annoying in general.) So I came in this morning and told Linh I wanted to have all my nails removed since 5 nails have came off within a week and a half and a bacteria had developed on the last nail that came off and it was disgusting. She told me take a seat. She asked me if I wanted shellac on my real nails. I told her no because it was ridiculous I was having this many issues within a short time frame. Another lady got up & decided to helped me. (Which she was very nice.) As this lady was removing my nails, Linh walked over to me trying to cause a scene. Telling me I was mean and it was too early in the morning to be mean because people just "woke up." (It was 11 am) I told her I wasn't mean and that I just stated why I wanted the nails removed. But I stated I found it ridiculous that my nails kept coming off and lifting within a short period of time to where now I have bacteria/fungus develop on my nail & that it was disgusting. She continued to tell me it wasn't a fungus and I told her I worked in healthcare and knew that it was so there was no point in trying to argue with me. She then proceeds to cause a scene (with a salon full of people) telling me I could've said it nicer and she would've fixed it for free. I told her I didn't want it fixed because it should've never happened to begin with. Her defense was it was "normal to get your nails redone within a week and a half....." I told her that was in fact not normal and she needed to walk away because she was trying to start an entire argument. She kept trying to argue with me and I kept telling her to walk away and I wouldn't be coming back. She first said "you've been coming here for years why are you doing this" (I've only lived in college station for 10 months so I have no idea what she was talking about) then she went on to say she was fine with losing me as a customer and I could leave now (without having the nails removed.) I told her no they were going to fix their mistake then I'll leave and never come back. She then walked away. About 10 minutes later she came back with a "fungus killer" solution after she tried telling me earlier it wasn't a fungus on my nail. I actually liked her work, but this past experience was horrible. The lack of professionalism and poor job she did this past time made me never want to come back or recommend this salon to anyone. It's one thing to own up to your mistake, but to cause an entire scene in front of everyone was ridiculous. Highly don't recommend this place to anyone. read more

An artist!! I came in with a picture of the nails I wanted and I walked out with my nails looking just like the picture!

Odd ambiance. Upon arrival we were escorted to chairs for pedicure. The chair handles were greasy and dirty. Asked the attendant to please clean before sitting. Attendant insisted we sit before cleaning with towel. She got spray disinfectant and proceeded to clean the handles with the spray and got the disinfectant all over us. That was not acceptable. She was rude about it. We did stay and got a lightning pedicure for $35. Not a bad price. Enjoyed our chair massage. It would have been more enjoyable if it wasn't for the terrible music. read more

I would recommend to call before and ask for Linh if you know you are going to want a design. Another thing, take CASH - you will be tipping them since they do great manicures and pedicures. This establishment prefers to be tipped in cash, which is not a problem if you come prepared. Will definitely be going back to get other designs.
