Pierced my room with a 18g instead of a 16g he used a hoop and I asked why because I read that the banana bar is better for this piercing but he said that it was easier to clean with a hoop than the banana bar. After 3 months I got it checked out and they told me he did it all wrong and I had to take it out. read more

Michael and everyone there is awesome! Everyone is so nice and welcoming I will definitely be back for a long time to come

Drove in from out of town under a time constraint to pick up a piece of jewelry that had fallen out. Arrived as soon as the store opened, and was greeted by a rude man who turned me away because he 'didn't have time' and had to finish drawing a tattoo for another customer. I have never been treated like this at a tattoo shop and was very disappointed with the experience. read more

Stopped by Big Daddy's Tattoo and Piercing Studio this afternoon for a couple of piercings... I wanted an industrial and double lobe piercings. As my awesome luck would have it, Chris was in the house! I am beyond happy with everything! Not only was he a super friendly and down to earth dude, with a similar sense of humor to mine... he is a bad ass when it comes to piercing! I couldn't be happier with how it looks! He also gave me some great and honest advice about switching out my jewelry at a later date. I have several more piercings I want to complete my ear project and I will 100% be a repeat customer here. I am also going to bring my little girl here as soon as she is ready for her first set of earrings. Thanks so much Chris... you rock! read more

I got my septum pierced from here and they totally pierced it way too high up and gave me jewelry that was far to small for my nose and it was so small I couldn't even tell my nose was pierced. I told the piercer I wasn't happy with it and he said "I know what I'm doing" so yeah they suck and we're hella rude. read more

I was originally planning on going somewhere else but I found out right before that they changed their hours and were closed. It ended up being a good thing though because I called around and ended up at Big Daddy's and they were super nice over the phone and in person! Their prices were a LOT cheaper than the place I originally was planning on going to. Immediately walking in, they were very nice and made it a fun experience and helped me feel really comfortable. They answered all my questions and were really patient with me. I was in and out and absolutely love my septum piercing! Everything was sterilized and clean, the entire process was explained to me while it was done so I know what to expect. (I teared up a bit from the pain but it was quick and easy). The piece is smaller than I expected and you only get one standard one they have for the initial piercing, but that's honestly better because it's easier to hide and it's pretty subtle (good for while it heals). I received a card with aftercare instructions and was told I was welcome to come back if I had any problems with the piercing. LOVED coming here and would definitely recommend! :) read more

Really like the owners. Actually met them while running at veterans park. Haven't gotten any tattoos there yet but I will this year. He pierced my nose about a year ago and it looks great. Very clean establishment and super sweet staff. Excited to finalize my tattoo ideas. read more

I went in to get a tattoo and i knew what I wanted however i didn't know what font to get and instead of the worker helping he was very rude and said "not to be a dick or anything but i dont think you should get a tattoo if you don't know what you want" other stuff was said that made me feel very uncomfortable and awkward. me and my friends left right away and went somewhere else. i would never let big daddy's tattoo studio ink me.... read more

I've been here twice to get tattoos. The first one was simple and TJ did an awesome job. Yesterday I went with something a little bit more complicated and Kevin was the one available. I came in to get a piercing and enjoyed my experience my piercing came out very nice and healed great but I didn't get any information on after care at the time and I had to do my own research read more

I came here a while ago based on great online reviews and reviews from friends. I got a rook piercing, and didn't enjoy the experience. The guy who did it wasn't very talkative or friendly and didn't really walk me through any of the process. They also have a policy where your piercing will be pierced with a hoop, but that isn't good or healthy for all piercings. I went to legacy and Essie explained to me what they did wrong with the piercing, what was best for my ears, and made the process f getting my second and third piercings so easy and relaxed! read more

Best place to get piercings in College Station - I've gotten 6 there now and am always impressed. Just got my nostril done there a few days ago and the piercer was so patient with me as I felt lightheaded during the process (make sure you eat before you go! Rookie mistake). Prices are always good and the customer care is better. :) read more

Do not get piercings done here!! I had my tragus pierced here a couple months ago and the staff was rude, didn't answer questions I had and he had a bad attitude. I've had a lot of piercings done in the past so I know the healing process and how to clean them - this piercing was giving me more pain and swelling than any other ones I've had. I went to a different studio today to look at having some of my jewelry changed, they informed me that this piercing was done at a bad angle and the jewelry used was low quality. If you want a piercing- visit a studio that is higher quality read more

Not welcoming. I felt like I was being rushed out the door or to say the least my artist consult was over almost before it started. Maybe I looked like a clueless price haggler. Maybe a tattoo virgin. Or Maybe if you were paying attention, I walked passed all the "point to the wall and draw" tattoos, and said "I would like to price out a tattoo, I need good line work". So I'll take my $2000 plus some where else. Yes, I said $2000. I want a sleeve. I was looking for an artist. read more

Very fast service. Walked in and got my piercing within 30 minutes. Everything seemed really clean and organized!

Not very welcoming. Not good customer service. Went in to get piercings but left bc the guy was rude and didn't make me and my friends feel comfortable. Also overpriced for a lobe piercing, costs $40 for both and I went somewhere else and got it done for $25 and they had great service. Also to get in the parking lot there is a huge dip so be careful lol. read more

Came here for ear piercings and was very pleased with the experience! I was able to walk in, get the piercings, and walk out in like maybe 15 minutes. Everything was sterile and very professional. My piercer answered all of my questions and walked me through the aftercare very thoroughly. I was nervous as I'm scared of needles, but he was humorous and calm and made the experience as painless as stabbing a giant needle through your ears can be! I'll definitely be coming back for more as soon as these are fully healed. read more

DO NOT...I can't stress this enough...GO HERE first one all I've had 3 horrible experiences here. Don't ask me why I went back cause I love second chances, all we're horrible customer service, rude workers and over the top pricing. Literally last time I went was just to get my piercing changed and instead of letting the professional do it. They decided this was the opportunity to teach the cashier now my nose is sore. Crazy thing is she was the only pleasant person there everyone else was RUDE. Unfortunately yelp does not have a 0 stars option cause that's what this place deserves read more

My husband and I dropped by with tattoos in mind. We had unexpectedly gotten called out of town and these guys were great with being able to work around our time crunch. We dropped off our ideas and were told to come back at 1pm. We arrived and they weren't even started. Came back at 3 as advised. He had just started on one. Said he called the owner in to help out since we were in a time crunch. He arrived and they bullshitted for about 45 minutes. Finally got back to drawing ours. Stopped every time someone new came in and helped them. 2 tattoos and multiple piercings. Finally he finished my husbands and the owner flew through it. Eventually he finished mine and started on it but he was too slow. I have multiple tattoos and most of them by a very qualified artist. He never takes this long. I was swelling and getting very raw. He didn't finish until 11PM. This was a 3 hour tattoo... tops. 2 months later my lines aren't raised but the color is good. ... it's just what I wanted but I have a feeling it will need some work in a few years. My husbands was all black and it's faded much more than his 3 year old black 1/2 sleeve. All in all we really appreciated them wanting to work around our schedule but in the end we wouldn't go back. Because he kept delaying the process of actually doing the work we didn't arrive where we needed to be until 4:30 am. We should have been out of there by 5 at the latest. read more

Just got really great help here earlier today. Was having a bad reaction to the nickel in my navel piercing (from a different place) they switched out with a titanium one quickly and painlessly and for a great price! Very clean place, will definitely be coming back in the future. For those of you like me and allergic to surgical steel: they have a huge titanium selection for the same price! :) read more

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU HAVE A NICKEL ALLERGY. I've been to this tattoo studio twice for piercings, and both were unpleasant experiences. The first time I went, I informed the staff that I was severely allergic to nickel and was assured that the jewelry was surgical steel and "nickel free." However, 3 days after getting a cartilage piercing, my ear swelled and got infected the same way it always does when I have an allergic reaction. I then did research on google, and discovered that surgical steel is absolutely not nickel free. I took that piercing out and let it close up and heal because it was so painful. I then returned to the studio a few months later, thinking the first experience was a fluke, with my own set of earrings that I wanted to get pierced with. However, I was rudely turned away, because this studio will only use their own earrings for piercings. I explained to the staff that I had an allergic reaction the last time, and I was then, again, rudely told to, "go see a dermatologist." But, anyone who knows how to use google knows that surgical steel DOES contain nickel. I will most definitely not be returning or recommending after both of these experiences and after being so disrespected by the staff. read more

Let me start by saying.... First tattoo ! I walked into several shops. Had an idea of what I wanted. Expressed that in every shop. After hearing things like ' well its gonna have to be huge for that kinda detail and probably pretty exsensive'. I started to think what i wanted wasn't going to be possible. On skin that is. After talking with TJ Morris, and getting some info about the whole process. His enthusiasm and confidence that he can take what's in my mind and put it in a design that I would like led me to show him some ideas. He took the ideas and by his amazing talent, turned them into a work of art. The detail, color scheme, placement and sizing are amazing. Not to mention less $$'s than what was expected! Let me end by saying.... It won't be the last one ! Go see TJ Morris at Big Daddy's Tattoo Studio College station Tx ! read more

I've gotten 3 tattoos so far and all of them here at Big Daddy's. This place is so great I don't even feel the need to explore elsewhere. These people are friendly and very professional. The environment is clean and welcoming---something not many parlors can boast about. Used to get work done by Teej (RIP) and now got my last piece done by Christopher. Both did/do great work and were so friendly and conversational. All these bad reviews probably revolve around college girls coming in like they own the place and demanding piercings right that minute. It NEVER fails that this happens when I am in there getting something done. If it makes me annoyed, I can't imagine how it makes the staff feel. If you're coming in with an attitude and without an appointment to interrupt an artist in the middle of a tattoo, expect to receive a little bluntness. Just be kind and wait your turn, and you will never want to go anywhere else. read more

This place completely destroyed my ear. I went in to get a tragus piercing, and though I can't remember the artist's name, I vividly remember the total of three times he put the needle through my ear. Definitely don't go here for piercings, don't be dumb like me and skimp on quality for a lower price. read more

Went here to have my industrial pierced and the guy was really unfriendly and after I had it done I realized he placed it wayyyyy to High instead of going at an angle it was straight across and wouldn't heal no matter how much I cleaned it Because it was putting to much pressure on the inner piercing . I won't ever go here again nor would I let them attempt to fix it . read more

I'm really disappointed with this place. I got my first tattoo here and it was done by TJ the owner and I loved it! So, naturally, I wanted to go back for my next tattoo. I set up an appointment, explained what I wanted, and left. I showed up for my appointment and my drawing wasn't finished. So I was told to come back in 3 days and he would have it finished. I showed up and still no drawing! So I made another appointment for 2 days later. I showed up 20 minutes early to look at my drawing which still wasn't finished and nothing close to what I asked for! So TJ told me to come back in an hour, which I did, and I got told that someone else was going to go before me and to come back in another 20 minutes. Completely unprofessional! Especially for the owner! Needless to say, I took my business elsewhere since it was apparent Big Daddy's didn't really need mine. Hopefully next time my experience will be like the first time I got my tattoo done here. I know it's tax season and all but still, if someone makes an appointment and comes to your shop 5 times, then you should be a little more professional to them. Just saying. Other than that, Big Daddy's is really clean and they do good artwork. Just disappointed in the amount of unprofessionalism I received. read more
