All of the artists, and front desk people here are amazing. Everyone is very friendly, helpful, and personable. Not the typical "tattoo shop" intimidation you may have experienced at other places. Comfy couches to hang out on while you wait, and a foosball table. While I've only gotten tattoos here, I have seen people come in for piercings, and it sounded like they received wonderful service as well. Emily is my go to artist, she's so friendly, gentle and does incredible work. But you seriously can't go wrong with any of the artists they've got. Great experience today with my 5 year old daughter. The two young girls that work here are awesome! I felt at ease seeing how clean the place was and the vibe was perfect. Emily was the real MVP! My daughter didn't even flinch when she got her ears pierced. She is great with kids and caring. For those parents wanting to have a good first time experience with kids i would recommend this spot. $40 for both ears and a basic earring or $50 for a nice shiny cubic zirconia. Also, i would recommend grabbing cash before you come. The only other method of payment accepted is Credit but it cant be a debit card with a credit logo. Hope this helps. My boyfriend and I decided to get a matching tattoo to commemorate a date special to us and after checking around at different tattoo shops in College Station, we decided to get ours done at Ink Dreams. The other shops that I talked to or went in seemed to not be as personable as this parlor was. I felt welcomed there from the moment I walked in. My boyfriend's job brings him out to College Station on the weekends and I accompany him sometimes so getting it done in College Station was a definite must. Everyone at the shop that we've encountered have had the greatest personalities and made his first tattoo a pleasurable and stress free event. Now to our tattoo artist, Randall. This guy has the most patient spirit. He took his time with the both of us to make sure the tattoo was exactly what we wanted. Never were we rushed into figuring out the design. We told him what we were looking for, he came up with the design and once he got our approval, did the most amazing job. We both are extremely pleased. My boyfriend's tattoo wasn't healing the way it should have and needed a touch up or two because it seemed his skin might be rejecting the ink. Randall always welcomed us with welcome arms because he said he wanted it to be exactly what we wanted and to be satisfied with the finished product. And that we are. I came in to get three simple tattoos done. They gave me a tattoo artist named Derek which no longer works there. One design was a quote, one was Roman numerals and the other was a sun and moon tattoo outline, not even shading. The tattoos honestly came out terrible. The Roman numerals were not the same size throughout and when I emailed, Justin was very nice on helping me out and touched up my tattoo. The Roman numerals now look a lot better and the quote is not perfect but it is decent. The sun and moon however looks absolutely terrible. Like a 12 year old drew it. He couldn't even trace an outline with a stencil. So now I'm going to have to pay a grand or so to get it covered up or even 2 grand to get it removed. read more

We walked in and were met by a kind lady who checked us in and spoke to me about the wait time, what tattoo I wanted, and general conversation. Got my septum pierced at Ink Dreams today with Lezlie, overall a great experience. The woman at the front counter was very kind and helpful. Lezlie was also great, she walked me through everything that she was doing as she did it. I was even given printed piercing care instructions, which was a plus. I will mention that debit is not accepted, only cash or credit (I knew this before going in but forgot, so that's on me), but there's an ATM available if needed. The atmosphere was not at all intimidating as some places can be. Other patrons and staff all wore masks and patrons were required to wash our hands upon entering, which is comforting to see during this whole pandemic. I'm not a complainer and I've never actually written a review so with that in mind, know I'm just trying to save people time and money here. There's no telling when staff will actually be in or willing to do work. I've tried to go in for a short touch up six times, even calling in to make sure they would still be accepting walk-ins within the hour. I arrived only to be turned away or the receptionist had locked the door and motioned for me to leave. Recently I went with a friend who wanted a simple piercing two hours before the shop was supposed to close and the same thing happened. Save you're time and go somewhere else. I went on Thursday to get my nostril pierced. 1. An unsupervised apprentice pierced my nose without any heads up. 2. She pierced it at an angle and so the jewelry doesn't sit right and 3. She couldn't get the corkscrew to sit in my nose correctly and I ended up bleeding so much. Now because it's at an angle and doesn't flow correctly with my face, it's now infected and my body is rejecting it...it's only 3 days after I got it pierced. I've had to take it out and let it close up so I can get it re-pierced somewhere else. On top of my horror story, my best friend got her septum pierced the same day, with the same chick and hers is even worse. It was pierced too low, hit an artery and the wrong sized jewelry was used so it had to be replaced. Don't go here if you want a quality piercing and someone who actually knows what they're doing. read more

Got my cartilage pierced here and they pierced it with a hoop. Ended up getting infected and had to take it out in the end. Same thing with my daith I got done here. Had to force the needle through my ear after the chair moved a bit and put a carved barbell in instead of a captive bead. This also got infected and had to take it out. read more

Entirely too expensive. I love the tattoo shop back home, but decided I would give Ink Dreams a chance. I went in to get 2 piercings in my cartilage and was told it was going to be $40 for each one...are you kidding me? I'll stick with my normal place with friendlier staff who are also licensed where I can get both for $40 total. Also, they don't take any type of cards for payment, not even a debit card. They do have an ATM inside, but it's not worth it with all the fees those things charge. read more

Came here for a few piercings and left extremely disappointed. The piercer was consistently rude and honestly if we hadn't paid for the piercings already we would have left, I'd suggest going to a different place if you want a happy experience. She didn't take her time at all and was extremely rude whenever we would ask questions, a friend said her ear was hurting a lot and when we left we saw blood dripping from the piercing. There's no reason for a simple lobe piercing to be dripping in blood when we leave; she also didn't move her hair when piercing so now her hair is tangled in the earring. Please don't waste your time or your money here, you'll regret it. Update: my friend's nose piercing sunk in and almost fell out completely, she had to stick in tissue paper to hold it in place. We went to Tattoo Consortium to get it fixed because the original piercer at Ink Dreams is incompetent and rude. We highly recommend that you go to Tattoo Consortium instead, they fixed her up in no time and were so kind and helpful! read more
