I have been here a couple of times recently for piercings and Ben did an awesome job both times. I'm not a fan of needles but he made the experience enjoyable and the piercings look great. He answered all the questions I had and explained his process to me as he was setting up. The facility is nice. It's clean and comfortable. The staff has been friendly and helpful. I haven't been here for a tattoo yet, but I definitely will soon. I've been looking for a good place since I moved here, and I think I will be sticking with Ink Dreams. read more

I got a tattoo here a few years ago, but was too afraid to write anything about it. I'm still a bit nervous about it so I will be using a throwaway account. My tattoo artist was Titus. Before & while getting the tattoo he kept telling me how he was giving me a discount & how it "should have been more". He also told me not to tell anyone the price, since he was giving me such a "discount." He had a screenshot to work from & he still messed up the line art & made the lines super shaky. He forgot to fill in a spot. And when he was done he gave me his number, which I feel was very unprofessional. This experience has left me too uncomfortable to go & get the part he forgot filled in or get a touch-up. read more

I was sitting there waiting on my friend to get a piercing, and they were having a full conversation using the n word over and over again all while me and my other friend (both black) were sitting there right in front of them. Great experience I was on travel for work and I like to get a new tattoo every new place I go and I looked around and liked all the artist work here! I walked in an told them what I wanted Matt introduced himself was very informative and made great recommendations to the piece I wanted I put a deposit down the next day he laid it down and did a badass job I've had some heavy handed artist before and it was not comfortable but he took his time made sure it was perfect and was not heavy handed at all! I left and actually overpaid because I forgot about the deposit he called me right back and I came to pickup the extra 50 I gave him this place is awesome and I loved everything about it cool shop nice people great artist well worth the money and very well priced too! Let me just say... this experience started really rough, but ended better than I could have ever imagined! I come from a super religious family and I've been wanting to get my tongue pierced. It would be quite the surprise come Thanksgiving break. Needless to say, I was SUPER nervous and kind of freaking out. I went in the other night by myself and Lezlie made the whole experience unforgettable! She talked me through the process but ultimately let me make my own decision! I decided to move forward but kept jumping around and asked her to hold my hand to which she replied, "I need both of my hands to pierce your tongue". She sat back and thought about what to do and got up and grabbed some random (gorgeous) girl to come hold my hand! She pierced my tongue and I got that chick's number and we have a date next week! I stopped in this place to get an industrial/scaffold piercing. It was $60 which is a bit pricey, but I was willing to pay it because the piercer was the sweetest girl and the place was extremely clean. The piercer, who I believed was named Destiny, explained how the piercing would occur and healing process that followed. She was awesome and helpful, and she obviously had experience! read more

super nice people, but unprofessional appointment personally. i came in wanting to change the jewelry of a piercing i had gotten a couple years ago. the jewelry itself was a bar with a ball on each end. they suggested buying just the replacement balls (that had a new color i wanted), so i did. i get into the piercing room and the piercer tells me that the replacement balls i bought will not fit on the jewelry i had in my ear. i had to pay for an additional whole new unit of jewelry because they don't do refunds and i couldn't get the money back i paid for the balls. i went with it because it was close to time they close and i didn't want to cause an issue, but i definitely think that as professionals it is their job to at least ask or offer to check what kind of jewelry you have before charging you for it. i understand that there are probably policies and rules that make it to where they have to run the checkout/piercing process this way, but i don't think it was right for me to have to pay twice simply because of their lack of professionalism. other than that she did a great job piercing my friend and changing my jewelry. read more

Bad customer service. Took me almost 2 weeks just to get an aswer from the shop,and I contacted them in every way possible ( email, text, facebook, visiting the shop ). It was almost as I was begging for their service. First appointment I had Chris cancelled it because he asked me to postpone and I said I cant do it. We made another appointment just so later on he can tell me that he is "not feeling the tattoo" and he doesnt want to do it. ( it wasnt anything that complicated ). Plus when I talked to him he looked high as f**k and I felt like I was talking to a wall. He may do a good job, but treating your customers like that is not good for business. read more

I went in for my first tattoo and was very nervous. I wasn't so much nervous that it would hurt or that the artist would do a bad job so much as that I couldn't communicate what I wanted exactly enough to want it on me forever. I am rather picky and a tattoo seems like the right time for that. Anyhow, the very first drawing he came up with from my rough verbal description was PERFECT. We added a few things and played around with the size, but within a few minutes all my nerves were gone and I was really excited. Super frustrating because we paid to uber to this tattoo parlor and they were closed. They gave me the impression that they have such a large customer base that they do not need your business. If you dont like their prices you can go else were. They dont give a rat's *** if you've been a return customer for over 4 years. Even if you had the owner do a tat on you. My friend and I went there and drove an hour an a half in the pouring rain to ask them for a simple price estimate for tattoos we wanted. We got there an hour before close and the door was locked with the guy at the desk. We tried opening the door and he just stared at us the entire time didn't say it was closed (keep in mind they close at 2 and we got there at 1), didn't do anything just stared. I then decided to wave bye because I was tired of standing in the rain with my friend and he happily waved bye to us as we ran back to the truck... I had a bad experience with my first tattoo so I came here to see how much it would be to fix it. Not only did the artist (Audrey I believe) explain what she would do, but she gave me ideas on things to add to make it even prettier. Of course this added to the cost, but it was still cheaper than a couple of other shops that had quoted me just on touching up the lines. Once my tattoo was done, I was extremely happy. Got my Monroe done here, and it turned out beautifully! However, later one down the road I noticed gum erosion and went to a different shop and they said the placement was awful. :( Gonna have to let this one heal up and get it repierced in a better spot! I called at 6pm and they said they had an opening at midnight. So I waited and got there at 11:45pm. Apparently it got "full" and said that I had to bring $50 in order to reserve a spot (which they never mentioned before). So I said that I wanted to make a reservation and was going to leave the $50 but the "lady" said that I couldn't. They made me waste time on waiting until 12 and didn't wanted to make an appointment for me. They seem racist to me. read more

This place seemed to be okay when i went in to get a snug piercing (very thick part of cartilage near the inside of the ear). After the guy put the needle through my ear he could not get the needle off the cork causing extreme irritation to my newly pierced ear. After cleaning it and doing what was best for it, to my knowledge considering they gave me no information on how to care for it, it has become extremely infected and swollen. Because of the swelling and the type of piercing it is i cannot get it out of my ear and this is awful. I also have 7 other piercings that are definitely not from here, they have all healed great with no problems. I would not recommend this place to ANYONE. read more

I really love Ink Dreams. I have been going there for over a year now for both piercing as well as a back piece I have been working on. They DO take credit cards for payment as well as cash (of course)... just not debit. They are a very clean shop, and do all they can to keep their standards high. Price wise, they are on par with most good shops. If you just want a cheap tattoo... you probably won't get good work, let alone CLEAN. My art is beautiful that I have had done there. The shop itself is a nice set up. It is very comfortable, and you can listen to music, or even watch a movie while getting your ink done (at least in Jason's studio area). I highly recommend them for ink work especially. They have some awesome in house talent. The other awesome thing is that once you put down your art deposit for custom work, they will draw it till you like it! I cannot say enough good things about this place. Everyone who works there have always been very nice, and pretty easy going with me. read more
