I've experienced better' is a direct comparison to themselves. The factory stores in general are excellent, but a few chains have really dropped the ball and this is one of them. None of their locations are great about stocking a wide variety of college apparel (my favorite team anyway), but this factory store is really bare bones. For example, in the kids' section, there is only one type of Ducks football jersey in a couple of sizes and I don't think the prices are discounted much if at all. This was verified the next day at Washington Square Mall. The outlet price was the same as the regular retail store. I always leave thinking they are blowing such an opportunity to make some cash since there isn't a Ducks store between Portland and Eugene.

Sportsman's advertises a price match guarantee, however the guarantee is that they don't price…read morematch. I was told by their customer service if I find a cheaper price online they would match it. I did find the items much cheaper online and when I sent sportsman's the proof, they would not beat the prices and changed their story yet another time. I would also like to add the sportsman's credit card charges 33% interest and they charge $3.50 per month if you choose not to go paperless. Sportsman's charges higher prices if you order through them online. Their in store prices are cheaper, so when sportsman's offers you a discount ( online only) your not getting a discount. They raise the prices online then offer consumers who open a card a discount. I've gone into the sportsman's store in Bend Oregon looked at a safe with a sign saying on sale with the original price of .99 cents higher than the sale price. Honestly just stay away from sportsman's and save money.

I've never had problems in this store, ever, and I've always walked out a happy customer. The owner is super nice and all the employees are highly knowledgable about their services and products. If they don't know something, they're very honest about it and will gladly ask the owner to make sure they relay the correct information. They're always super enthusiastic about helping out and just have good vibes overall! As a Pacific athlete, I highly appreciate the fact that it's only walking distance from campus. So convenient! On top of that, they have a lot of Pacific school spirit gear that are fairly cheaper than some of the products in the bookstore. I love coming in here! Great service, wide variety of products, and great atmosphere!
