You can only see the sign that says, "Gone Fishin' ", when you get RIGHT UP to the counter, and there's no light that tells you if they're open or not, and which side you should come to. So when I got up there, THEN she said, "I'll getcha over here!" as she NOW moves to the other side of the checkout corral thing. So I take my cart all the way around to her, and she acts like nothing stupid just happened at all, like it's just fine for her to inconvenience customers like that. Such a jerk, no niceness, just arrogant. This business feels like a family-run business, and in a bad way, where the workers feel like they just live at the store, and are kings and queens there, and think that they're so smart, and that most of the customers are all morons, or just crazy. Ungracious attitudes in several of the workers. They either need to find something to do, or stop staring at the customers, making them feel unwelcome.

The second place offered me $250, just for my ring, whereas they offered me $250 for the ring, a laptop and a Nintendo switch lite. It's not a huge deal, but it's nice to keep the other items. Again, they were really nice, just not the best deal out there.

I went in, and Bellah was so kind, polite and ready to help us, being attentive but in no way overbearing. Neither of the journeys stores in Salem had my size, so I was a little sad, but Bellah took care of it. She ordered my size, and even gave me 15% off (which is a lot considering the shoes were $140). She was swift, knowledgeable, and funny. She made my brief journeys experience a nice one. I came in to make a purchase and thought I found some great pieces but it took over 45min to ring up the person in front of me with only 2 people in the store and 2 employees. When the second employee started to ring me up she kept stopping to help the first. Ultimately I ran out of time after over an hour, I never anticipated it taking so long and it's no exaggeration. Even the first customer kept telling them no when they couldn't figure it out because she wanted to leave too. I asked that the employee put the items on hold and I'd be back. She had my name from waiting to purchase with my card and yet when I came back not only had everything been put back but the prices had changed and half of the items I had selected had been sold. Suddenly I was paying 3x the amount I would have, for fewer items overall. I honestly get better service online and yet they've lost my business.

They charge extra if there is a second DVD in the case (most times a disc you don't want anyway). Items originally purchased from the dollar tree are marked as high as $4. There are lots of broken items, if that's what you were looking for. Also the shelves are super full, so you should find what you're looking for. Most likely the glass is going to someone who pays more than the public since it's one of the items we don't see much of at the bins. Rubber stamps are also over priced, but you will find those at the bins for a more reasonable price. At a time when things are getting too expensive for most of us, we don't need Goodwill behaving this way. It feels like a betrayal, after we have donated so much. We used to spend lots of money at this shop. Now it is common for us to leave empty handed.
