Much to my dismay, my employee returned with the same exact can opener I had paid $40 for on Amazon that didn't work. It did at least open a few cans, although the gear slips constantly and you have to turn the can manually for it to work. I know it's just a can opener, but the fact that they charged almost three times the price for it, coupled with the fact that they would even stock such a terrible piece of equipment has made me decide that I really don't want anything to do with Salem Restaurant Equipment. Oh, and FYI, SRE, if you're reading this, I paid a professional to install it exactly as the instructions said. No excuses.

What can I say, they know where everything is and they are efficient. We've been through a couple name changes! The coffee selection with every coffee flavoring you could imagine! Say you want to plan an event where people would like to take leftovers home? There's a couple isles full. Cleaning stuff? This list just goes on and on. If you are not a restaurant owner then pick an off time to just come and browse. I'm pretty certain you will find some good reasons to return, many actually. Since my dinnerware is white, I often come here to pick up additional serving platters, individual salt bowls, cream pitchers or whatever I need or just want to add to my table scale. Of course they have the large appliances - refrigerators, ovens, microwaves, wine refrigerators, etc. Prices are affordable and you can buy single pieces or bulk. Customer service is friendly, they greet you when you enter and let you browse. If you need assistance, they are there to help. That's exactly how I prefer it.

Unfortunately, the chicken was completely rotten and smelled like a dead corpse the moment I brought it home and opened the box. The smell was so horrible that it immediately filled my entire house. I had to wrap the box in five plastic bags and seal it with duct tape just to contain the disgusting odor. I bought chicken for my family to eat, not something that would make my entire house smell like a crime scene. Honestly, I have never experienced anything this disgusting from a food purchase. Five plastic bags and duct tape just to contain the smell of chicken? That is absolutely unacceptable. Freshness and food safety should be the bare minimum for any business selling meat. Halal certification is important, but customers also expect the meat to be fresh, safe, and fit for consumption. This experience was beyond disappointing. It raises serious concerns about how the meat was stored, handled, and checked before being sold. I hope management takes this complaint seriously and makes sure no other customer has to bring home a box of rotten chicken and turn their house into an emergency odor-containment zone. I expect a proper response and an appropriate refund. This is not just poor customer service; it is a serious food-quality concern.

I wasn't able to find what he was looking for anywhere else, but they had just what he wanted, and it was less than the smaller boards I was looking at. I plan to pick up a cocktail shaker and muddler the next time I'm in. Anyway, I recommend that you take a browse for yourself.
