Support beams are put in crocked, the adhesive they applied on the wall is falling down. They got me a loa. For 30k and had it set for 18 month pay off. Now im 30k in debt with support beams that make me question how long these supports will hold. I already contacted the loan company about the wall adhesive falling down. And i will need to follow up about the beams. But i really dont like having to contact someone who doesnt do a good job, and asking them to keep coming back to make it right.

Kurtis and his crew came out today to replace a portion of our dewatering system. We've had water…read moreissues in the area of the new section we had installed in 2019, two years after the original detwatering in our laundry area. After heavy rains we'd get water, we had technicians come out and they would recommend building up the foundation to draw water away from, we got new gutters, all the while while losing hundreds of dollars of flooring and furnishing. We sent pictures each time, and nothing seemed to work. Though during it all, no one thought to check the system itself, that is until Dave arrived in July. He actually put a hose to run water directly into the system and discovered that the water wasn't draining into our sump pump. Kurtis and crew were extremely polite and listened as my wife explained the problem. He had barely broken into the section of the concrete revealing an area where the new system wasn't even connected to the old. And he showed by my that no weep holes were drilled. He decided he was going to replace that entire section as he didn't trust the rest of the work. All these years, that water just dumped into the ground. His crew spent 5 hours replacing then entire new system and showed my wife what they did and why before concreting over. Kurtis has restored our trust in Helitech and NOW when it rains heavy we won't be anxious about water in the basement. He said if we get water, he'll come back out to check the system though believed he resolved the problem. No one else is coming to check our system from here on out except Kurtis or Dave!! The grout work they did was terribly messy with no attention to detail, they matched the color horribly, suggested we seal the tile ourselves and then they had to pay A DIFFERENT contractor to fix their work. Communication was non existent. We always had to be the ones to call them to ask when they were coming, to come look at the work needing repairs, to beg for our money back or get it fixed. Their managers say, "we won't be happy unless we get a 5 star review. That's how good we are." If I could give them -5, I would. Oof! It still makes me angry when I think about Force Masonry.

Bix was very quick and accommodating in visiting my home to provide me a quote. Their office staff…read morewas friendly, helpful, and patient in scheduling the initial visit. After signing the proposal and approving the work things unfortunately took a turn for the worst. Scheduling became a chore as it took weeks to get the work scheduled, and later Bix mixed up the date, and without notification to me added a day to the work (said it was going to be a 1 day job, then suddenly it was 2). My questions to the manager went unanswered. Emails, phone calls, messages, all went unanswered. When Bix performed work on my neighbor's residence they drove their heavy equipment over my lawn after it had just rained heavily and caused damage to the lawn. I experienced a complete lack of communication and follow through with them in my attempts to get my lawn repaired. They ended up bringing dirt with them when arriving to complete my house work, however as over a month had passed grass had grown over the damaged areas obscuring them from view so the dirt was left (neatly) next to my house for me to fix as I could not point out the spots from memory to their crew onsite. The day of my appointment Bix did not stick to the scheduled time. I received a late evening phone call from the foreman the night before letting me know they would be there at 12 noon (9AM was the scheduled time) as they were tied up at the previous job's location, they didn't end up showing up until almost 2. I cannot say enough good things about the crew. They were professional, extremely hard working, and polite. While being sensitive to my family's needs they worked late into the evenings to get the job done after 2 days of work. Their products appear to be solid and well installed. After refusing to sign the loan documents initially for their payment I was able to receive a call back finally from the manager who essentially blamed me, argued with me, and berated me for my opinions about their customer service and business practices. I heard a lot of excuses, but never so much as an apathetic apology. The experience could have been exponentially better had the customer service been on par.

Now in 2023, I wanted it cleaned again and inspected since we had used it quite a bit for 3 years. Chimney Doctor came out and I was impressed. They protected my floors and white fireplace from dust and debris. There was 4" of gunk up in my fireplace chimney that he cleaned out. He also put the camera up to see if the chimney was healthy and made recommendations as well as sending me quotes for those options. Overall, his visit today was reasonably priced and I think the work was very thorough. They did say they don't normally come this far to my small town but I'm glad they did because I would recommend them again.
