Plants that were in no way in the scope of the work trampled and dirty hand prints all over the vinyl siding. They said some mulch would need to be replaced and I figured that. 13 bags later I didn't consider. The reason they loosely packed the trench spreading the remaining soil and rock over the area. I received an email explaining the scope of the work and responded asking the person to please call me before writing my review. Not once not twice did I ask so third time I post it here. Funny when they were quoting the work they made a point they were #1. I said #2 tries harder. So maybe look at e-mails and get back go your customer when they reach out.

We called Accurate Pest Control after being totally fed-up with a well known national brand located…read morein Albany. We were covered under an exclusion program that was ineffective, disappointing and expensive. Mike came and did an inspection and proposed that they re-do our exclusion work and have the home serviced for general extermination on a regular basis. The original exclusion work done by the other company was 2 technicians for 4-6 hours. Mike and his team attacked every corner of the house and were on site for the better part of 2 days... and the best part was they quickly tracked down and located a rodent entry point that the other company repeatedly overlooked. Our history with continued pest infiltration caused a section of our finished basement ceiling to be riddled with mouse droppings. When I mentioned to Mike we were interested in replacing the ceiling, he offered their services and provided a proposal to not only remove and replace the ceiling, but to properly remediate the space with vacuuming, sanitizing, insulation replacement etc. Said another way, not just a ceiling replacement, but a proper environmental hazard clean up. The ceiling turned out beautiful and the entire space was cleaned and sanitized upon completion. The regular service has also been effective. We get the same technician who takes the time to properly check and treat inside and out. So far it was been a pleasure to have this team work in our home. They are polite, they arrive when they say they will and do what they said they will do. Special shout to Mike who has been at the helm of fixing what their competitor was unable to handle.

I pay a yearly fee of course but they come, check everything, and keep most of the termites out. The ones that do make it in die immediately from the treatment they provided a few years ago. I bought this house not knowing how bad termite issues can be, but I'm 100% glad I called these people. They aren't some big box place that is looking to milk you for every dollar. They do what's most important, which is provide a service for a reasonable price while keeping customers trust knowing they're not trying to sell me extra things every chance they get. 10/10 times I would use these people. They took care of some squirrels for me too. The service techs here stay in constant communication when needed (squirrels are quite a pest), and again I just really appreciate they don't try to get me for every dollar. I can't say enough good about them. Service techs are always friendly. The woman who answers the phone is also always very friendly. It's great.

It was time to call a wildlife specialist. The positive reviews I was reading for Upstate Pest & Wildlife Control were convincing enough for me to call them. They were able to schedule a visit for the next day. Jake from UPW&C (no relation to Jake from State Farm) arrived on time and assessed the situation. He was friendly, very informative, and knowledgeable. The cost for the services he proposed and explained was reasonable. He was able to set traps that same day. Jake returned after a couple of days to check the traps. While the traps had not caught anything yet, and we hadn't heard critters any longer in the ceiling, he made modifications and adjustments to the traps and planned another visit the following day. Today, after assuring that there were no more squirrels in the soffits, and no new points of entry, he removed the traps and sealed the soffit hole. (Note: one trap did have part of a squirrel's tail.) I definitely recommend this family owned business if you have problems with wildlife pests. Their entire operation is very professional and reassuring.

When I was unexpectedly home a day before the appointment, I called and Matt came that afternoon. He investigated and found the hole to the crawlspace. A trap was set and we had Bucky the groundhog the next day. Matt closed up the hole for us. When we heard it again a few days later, Matt came back. There was nothing, so we think Bucky's SO escaped for good. Matt is responsive, responsible, changed his schedule when I asked if he could come a day early and he got the critter. Pest control isn't something we think about, but when we needed it, we were more than pleased with Matt's service. Pricing was reasonable and the process was simple. We'll use Upstate Pest & Wildlife Control again if needed and we highly recommend.
