When I was unexpectedly home a day before the appointment, I called and Matt came that afternoon. He investigated and found the hole to the crawlspace. A trap was set and we had Bucky the groundhog the next day. Matt closed up the hole for us. When we heard it again a few days later, Matt came back. There was nothing, so we think Bucky's SO escaped for good. Matt is responsive, responsible, changed his schedule when I asked if he could come a day early and he got the critter. Pest control isn't something we think about, but when we needed it, we were more than pleased with Matt's service. Pricing was reasonable and the process was simple. We'll use Upstate Pest & Wildlife Control again if needed and we highly recommend.

It was time to call a wildlife specialist. The positive reviews I was reading for Upstate Pest & Wildlife Control were convincing enough for me to call them. They were able to schedule a visit for the next day. Jake from UPW&C (no relation to Jake from State Farm) arrived on time and assessed the situation. He was friendly, very informative, and knowledgeable. The cost for the services he proposed and explained was reasonable. He was able to set traps that same day. Jake returned after a couple of days to check the traps. While the traps had not caught anything yet, and we hadn't heard critters any longer in the ceiling, he made modifications and adjustments to the traps and planned another visit the following day. Today, after assuring that there were no more squirrels in the soffits, and no new points of entry, he removed the traps and sealed the soffit hole. (Note: one trap did have part of a squirrel's tail.) I definitely recommend this family owned business if you have problems with wildlife pests. Their entire operation is very professional and reassuring.

It has been a few weeks and Josh has visited to install a one-way "trap." This allowed the critters to leave our attic crawl space and then be sealed a few weeks later. He sealed one side of the house first, put traps on the other side and then returned to seal them out permanently. It has been another few weeks and it is still quiet. No noise of invaders running muck in our attic area. Thank you Josh. Would definitely call them again. Price was reasonable for the value of ridding our home of the little critters.

A gentleman named Jay from Ehrilch Pest Control around 4pm called asked for my info and gave me a reasonable price I said sounds good he said let me see if I can contact my technician I said ok and call me if you get him. Being Labor Day weekend I figured no way and I was right I didn't hear anything. Tuesday morning 8am my bell rings I answered the door and there's a Ehrilch Pest Control van in my driveway. I asked the man his name I'm sorry he gave it to me but I forgot. He asks me if he can see the nest I showed him it and he says do I want it removed I said sure but give me the office phone # he gives me 518 951-4077 and Jay answers I tell him his technician is here and how am I paying. The technician a real nice guy he explains what he's gonna do ,he does the job he bags the nest . He spray some of the leaves around where the nest was he tell me there will be some wasp flying around today , but tomorrow they will all be gone. So your driver comes flying down the left lane with his lights flashing and swerving, my husband gets over in other lane, your driver flys past and is tailgating vehicles in front of them swerving. Was he carrying a cockroach in labor to the nearest hospital??! Inexcusable driving. Even more inexcusable your likely contracted folks taking calls don't have a way to get a local live person when your drivers are endangering the public.

That lasted about 2 months and then mouse excrement and others evidence was seen. Orkin technicians came to my house and found other entrances. This occurred approximately every 3 months. i now have a renewal bill to pay although the problem still exists. I have spoken to the local company representatives and corporate asking for a reduction in the yearly renewal since problem was never taken care of. I was told it is against company policy for a reduction. I am not renewing and would never use this company again. Let me say that all technicians were polite and came every time called.

They do not come when scheduled, they have changed the chemicals that are applied and sprayed around the house. So, it's takes multiple times to stop ants from coming into the house. The cost is high for what you get. You can buy better products from Lowes for a tenth of the price.
