There was a line of probably 12 people at one register. There was a woman ringing at another register, cashing people out but she didn't have her register light on. She was taking customers and as I approached I asked her if she was open she said yes but you have to get in line and pointed to that I should line up with the other 12 customers waiting so that intermittently she could yell across the store. NEXT CUSTOMER!!! Lady, wouldn't it be easier to just have two lanes open? Does everyone need to hear your wretched voice repeatedly yelling NEXT CUSTOMER? So they can then walk back over to you. Passive aggressive? Yes. Do you do this because you enjoy telling people no go lineup? Possibly, Probably. This woman was hideous and her motives, pure ignorance. To walk into a store and be treated like cattle is reprehensible behavior and truly undignified. It's called customer service but for her complete disservice. It's a bad look. All I could think of was of Oliver Twist or "How can you have any pudding if you don't eat your MEAT???" What a miserable wretch. As she yelled out for next victim, which would be me, I told the girl behind me to please go ahead (because I was all set with dealing with her.) Thanks no thanks. She should be ashamed of herself and her store should definitely have a conversation with her about how to treat human beings. And that's my WORD.

I tried to file a complaint on the website, but apparently what I wrote, timed out, most likely because it was taking me 15 minutes to express my distaste for the treatment Myself, along with my 7yr old daughter, and 8yr old autistic son, received today. All over an empty gift card that he had grabbed off the display. The guy at the register was rude, and instead of telling me the policy proceeded to berate me in front of other customers. He then yelled across the front of the store to his manager. She then came over and started off rude and condescending. They both made me feel like a piece of crap, and devastated my child. They made him return the gift card to the display by himself, as they would no let me leave the register until my "transaction was finished." It took a solid three minutes before they explained to me that it was against policy because of the serial numbers on the card. It's honestly disgusting to me to have encountered this behavior, especially since I've worked in retail and the food industry, my entire life. I've seen some bad service, but this wasn't just bad, it made me feel so demeaned and embarrassed. I was treated as an inconvenience by the cashier, as well as the manager. My poor son was brought to tears, and the guest behind me even said "I'm so sorry this is happening to you, I don't understand either." I walked into this location in such a good mood. I helped a woman in the aisle, as there was no employee to be found. My daughter even picked stuff off the floor to "help the workers". Apparently a woman and her elderly mother were also an inconvenience, as they were waiting in line in the register next to me when the employee turned off the light and said "I'm closed ", also leaving the same elderly woman(who was barely holding onto the cart might I add), literally with their stuff on the counter, then slammed the register, and just walked away(come to find out 5 minutes later that it was the manager). I understand that there are policies, and I understand that those employees need to follow those policies... But it was literally handled in the most asinine way. To the point we're not only will I never return to this location, but all 7 of my siblings, and my parents, who also frequent that store, will also not be making purchases to support this store. These employees chose to work retail. They chose to work customer service. Just because they're not happy with their choice in a job, doesn't mean they get to pass that poor attitude and miserable demeanor onto Dollar Tree's patrons. Cool. We can't let my atypical child take a piece of paper home? It could have been politely explain to us, in a professional manner, instead of treating us like trash. Terrible job, Dollar Tree @187 Summer Street Kingston, Ma ...teeerrible job

The employee working at the costumer service register was very rude to me. I told the CS person that I was returning it because the awning was defective and had broken while I attempted to assemble it. The customer service person said it looked used? I told her it came that way. She argued with me and wasted my time arguing for 10 min while continuing to tell me that the awning looked used. I had the receipt and she resisted giving me my refund. Finally the manager of the store came over and suggested I get another awning. I said no, I would prefer a refund. The manager finally gave me my refund. Like the other Yelp reviewer said of Ocean State "Don't recommend giving money to this company. This place sucks. Management sucks. Employees suck. And the cheap damn products suck?" I agree with that reviewer Gabe W.

Huge supply of Bobs Red Mill products, a whole wall of it, organised by number. Best deal on the parchment I use for baking - in rolls and precut sheets large enough for a cookie sheet. Household cleaning items - always a great selection, even some throwback stuff like Babbo! During spring, amazing deals on gardening supplies, hoses, coolers, beach stuff. I love this place and trust the quality of just about everything I've purchased there. Friendly help, too. They've definitely made a smart investment in kicking this place up a notch on organisation and customer service. Just got a $10 coupon for answering a brief email survey about their new website. Used it yesterday. And found this little item in the grocery area

It did not matter. He still called the police. I would not recommend this store to anybody nor would I ever shop there. The gentleman was rude, uncaring, and completely unattached to reality. In what world can you not stop on a public sidewalk? Take a drink that you bought at a store. Next door and be harassed, it's clearly and definitely not a world that I want to live in. If I could post with 0 or negative stars, I would
