I don't like carrying around unnecessary stuff so I just said "no thank u" without thinking too hard about it. To my surprise the phone charge cord I purchased which is right upfront by the registers DOES NOT WORK, so I called to explain it wasn't working & to ask if they could EXCHANGE it for me (still in it's packaging) and she very impolitely started talking over me and said without the receipt they couldn't even do an exchange. I told her it's still in the package and everything she continued to talk over me just saying "NO", "NO", "NO"... Finally I had enough of the rudeness and just hung up. I wasn't trying to purchase so I removed the magazine to the other side of the counter, so it would not accidentally get rung up. The manager/cashier began to interrogate me about did I move the magazine? I explained to her yes because I did not accidentally want to get charged for it because it wasn't mine. She kept repeating herself. I ruined her book. It was water where I placed it, which I never seen any water. I stated to her I did not see any water there and it was an accident. I was so confused and shocked that she would not ring me up. I was lost for words for a second. I even asked her was she serious or was she playing because I could not believe the treatment I was getting from a total accident . Her behavior/ attitude was so disgusting. She did not smile and in fact seemed annoyed that there were customers lining up to pay. It was awkward and I honestly just wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. - Items were not labeled with correct pricing, for example, I found a birthday card and a bag from the shelves that said one dollar per item, but when I paid for them, each of them cost $2 apiece. Shortly afterward, the store manager approached my vehicle and took a photograph of both me and my license plate without explanation or consent. This action was unexpected and made me feel uncomfortable and singled out. I then went back into the store to ask for an explanation. The manager informed me that I had been mistaken for someone else and that I was "the wrong person." While I understand that errors can happen, the way this situation was handled--particularly photographing me in the parking lot--was inappropriate and distressing.
