Still too small compared to other ones around this area and there is room to make it bigger. Still looks the same from when I shopped here in the 1990s except it has a grocery area. It still has its CVS and pizza hut food stand along with the Starbucks which others have lost. But the space is so limited that where others have a section it has just part of a row. Service has always been friendly and fast. I drive past here most evenings after work, but still go to others on my days off. Too nice of a neighborhood for a sucky Target. If it was for my COVID booster appointment, I would have not come. read more

Manager Lathena would not let us use the fitting room. 7:57 p.m., store closing at 10:00 p.m. The sales associate working the fitting room said we could not use the fitting room, I asked for a manager... I could not believe this, Lathena, the manager approached and said they were closing the fitting room at 8, this is their "new" policy, literally would not let us use the fitting room 3 minutes before they were closing it early (2 hours) before the store closed. Absolutely ridiculous. I've only reviewed one other place on yelp, with a positive review for a restaurant carryout experience. I'm just dumbfounded. read more

I went to find some board games for neighborhood's day. I did not find the things that were supposed to be stocked so I picked up a few extras things too. After leaving I noticed two items rang incorrectly. I needed to return something and explained to Pam that afew items rang up the wrong price. She ask about the day the item went in sale and I explained that I was referring too the shelf pricing. She never said another word just stared at me, she processed my return without resolving the other issued so I had to return the items. When she saw me she never said another word just did they return. I won't be back. read more

This target has to be literally one of the worst targets in the area. For starters, they rarely have cashiers working so there is almost always a line of 10 or more people waiting for self scan. If we have to self scan AND wait 30 minutes to do it, the customer should get a discount. Also, the produce stock needs serious attention. This place has gone downhill. read more

I feel like this Target has really low reviews and they try really hard. Compared to the other local Target they have a bit less in stock . This is an older store and it takes me the same amount of time to drive to the Target in Commerce . They are doing a great job whenever I do the online order pick up inside or outside they are by far the fastest Target and the employees are friendly! The beauty counter here pales in comparison to let Novi target and they have less groceries, But I feel like it is worth coming for the customer service a bonus is there are a few other stores in this plaza. read more

What is happening at this Target!?!? Ran in to grab some toothpaste real quick and they were out of my brand. No big deal, grabbed a comparable brand. I get accosted by a lady who wants me to switch my phone service and won't shut up about it. By the time I get to the check out I'm in line with a young woman being rung up by Sandy. I'm minding my own business and all of a sudden Sandy starts talking about he mother and sister dying and getting a colonoscopy all the while ringing the lady up REALLY REALLY SLOWLY. Maybe focus on what you're doing instead of talking about who or who we may not "see again in heaven" her words. Turn up the professionalism please. read more

This store was my go to before the Walmart opened closer to me a few years ago. It's usually clean and well stocked. I really like the clearance section. There are some good finds there. Some times there's a line so the self check out is a plus. Recently, I ordered a dress online for my sister. It was shipped to the store free of charge, and the pick up process was a breeze. read more

I have used the drive up service since Covid. The employees that bring out and load my online purchases have been most courteous-every time. I have tried to tip them but apparently they're not allowed to accept tips. That policy should change! read more

Relatively typical Target, but I would agree with some others that have reviewed this store the customer service is lacking. I didn't have an awful experience, I just was trying to purchase the last item of a kind that didn't have a tag, which is obviously a challenge. I felt that too much time was taken to send someone looking for the same item (after I already mentioned it was the last one & had an extremely similar item at the checkout). Also, after the cashier finally got a price for me (same as the item I brought up) she acted very irritated, and while I was still collecting my items she was telling the customer behind me how I had held everything up. I understand that it was a challenging situation, but really the store is a fault for not labeling items. read more

Target does not enforce their mask rule. I was in the store for about 45 minutes and kept running into the same young couple where the woman was not wearing a mask. I finally told an associate about it and she spent 20 seconds trying to find them then said if she saw them she'd say something. This couple must have passed at least a dozen Target workers, who completely ignored the maskless woman. I have a daughter with MS and grandchild with cancer, I cannot take chances at stores with cowardly standards. I've shopped at Target for almost 30 years, no more. I will boycott them, as will my entire family as this is a very serious issue for me. I'm sure if I stole something their security would be able to find me immediately, not so with anti-maskers I guess. If you are vulnerable to COVID, it is in your best interests to shop elsewhere. read more

Who doesn't like a Target?!? I stopped in to this Target to look for some undergarments for my daughter. I noticed most Targets have a similar store design. For instance, when you walk in the store, the concession area (with Starbucks) is to the right, dollar items to the left, and women's clothing is straight ahead. This is the same for the stores in Madison Heights, Dearborn, Warren, and Clinton Township. Now not every Target is the same, however again there are similar characteristics they all have to include their marketing angle, store design, and branding. Relating to the design, this store is different. The Starbucks is to the left upon entering, home goods straight ahead, and cashiers to the left. Because of these differences, it makes my shopping experience that much more enjoyable. I now have to figure out what I'm looking for. As a result, I end up stumbling across items I wasn't even looking for. To be honest, I would have done that even if I was in a familiar store, however the probability is higher here. I love all my Targets! They have changed so much over the years, gravitating to younger and middle age demographics. The prices are affordable and they now have groceries. read more

This Target has come a long way. They have a nice stock of groceries, clothes, and other home items. The Starbucks inside is also pretty good. Sometimes the lines can get really long, but if you come during the day, you'll be in and out! read more

This review is for the CVS pharmacy located in this Target store. I could not pull up the pharmacy listed as CVS. But I was able to speak with a pharmacist on the phone. I needed a DME pharmacy (Durable Medical Equipment) in order to get my prescription filled and covered by my insurance. The pharmacist told me that they were a DME pharmacy. But the next day when I called about the prescription, the pharmacist on duty told me that my insurance company would not allow them to fill the prescription. I asked why. I couldn't get a straight answer. I asked (again) whether they were really a DME pharmacy. The pharmacist said that they "usually" can fill DME orders. So I asked a third time whether they are a DME pharmacy. Again I got a no-answer answer. I think these guys try to get away with filing DME orders but maybe they are not a DME pharmacy. So I placed the order elsewhere. read more

***UPDATE*** 7/2/2016 I have since changed this from 2 to 4 stars. Must've undergone new management. Rarely a wait in lines anymore and things seem cleaner and more organized. Still not 5 stars because no one has EVER asked me if I'm finding everything or need help or even said HI when out on the floor. Oh well, can't win them all. ______________________________________________ I've only been into this Target a few times since I moved to the area a year ago. It's awkward to get to and the selection isn't great. There always seems to be lines because there's only a few checkout lanes compared to the average Target I've been into. The cashiers aren't extremely friendly or quick about getting people through their lines. The reason I gave it two stars instead of 1 is because it's close to home and has a Starbucks. read more

I was astounded by the customer service I received from a young cashier named Amanda. I had trouble finding the special formula I needed for my foster child. I made phone calls and this target store had what I needed. When I got there my wic card wasn't working right. Amanda tried 4 times without success. I thanked her and said I would make some phone calls to see why the card wasn't working and I left the store. As I was putting the children into our car, Amanda came running out of the store and said "I'm so glad I caught you." I replied "Oh is the machine working now?" She stated "No, but the lady in line behind you and I want to buy the infant formula for you, please say yes, we really want to do this." After hearing her reasons I agreed. And went back into the store. Not only did Amanda and Sandy (the woman in line behind me) purchase the needed formula, Sandy suggested that I go get more formula. I said they had both done enough. I was grateful for their kindness. However they insisted, Amanda ran back and brought back all of the formula (that I use) that was left on the shelf. These two beautiful women deserve much more than five stars on YELP. MAY GOD CONTINUE TO BLESS THEM BOTH. I later found out my card wasnt working because target doesn't accept wic. This was truely a God thing. My little family was most blessed by Amanda and Sandy. read more

First, let me just say that I love Target as a brand. But although this is the closest Target to me, it's not why favorite. They just need to work on getting the store in order a little more. Did you ever feel like you needed a tetanus shot after going some place? As much as I like to support local business whether it be a small business owner or a chain this particular store is not the best in the Target chain. The cleanliness is horrible. It starts with the parking lot when you pull in, garbage all over. Then the store is not over all clean. Shelves are empty, merchandise is all in disarray. I even walked by to get a frozen coke and looked at the other "food" offerings and was horrified. The hot dogs looked like they had been there all day and wrinkly(not that I wanted one). The workers, what few there are seem to be void with barely any response to customers. If I need something fast I go to this Target, if I want to go "shopping" and pick up a few things I go to the store at 15 Mile and Haggerty or Eight Mile and Haggerty. read more

Sorry Tom, but I don't find this Target that bad! Maybe I have low expectations? Maybe I don't pay attention? Maybe I don't really care? Due to the proximity to my house this is the Target for my most basic Target-ing needs. Kleenex? Socks? Target brand Shells-n-Cheese? I'll get it here no problem. Staff here is usually helpful, but to a certain degree. I've never gotten exceptional service, but its never been awful, so its A-OK in my book. I did like the service I got at the pharmacy on multiple occasions. The pharmacist and pharm techs were super nice and very helpful. Customer service is usually speedy and friendly as to be expected if I need to make a return. I never check out the food court area so I can't comment on that. But I have had a Starbucks from the Starbucks kiosk...typical Starbucks fare served by target employees, nothing exciting here. I do have a few gripes though: the parking lots is awful and so annoying! People driving in this lot suck, to put it bluntly. Second, the selection at this Target isn't always the best. To find cuter clothes and better clearance, I'll hit up the Target in Livonia, Commerce or even Troy if I'm on that side of town. Lastly, this Target always has some interesting people shopping here, so you can people watch here while you get your laundry detergent and paper towels! read more

Everyone who knows me knows how much I love shopping at Target. This store, for the most part, is your typical Target. However, the store is very unorganized and has items thrown around in the Women's Clothing and Shoes departments. Our cashier was nice, but told me to swipe my card to pay for my items before she scanned my gift card. Once the transaction was processed, the gift card can't be applied. She advised me to go wait in line at the service desk for them to refund my purchases and ring them up again to apply the gift card. I just walked out; I shop here enough and could use it at another visit. My main reason for giving this one star is because there is no easy way to get into this plaza. It is probably the most annoying place to get into due to the obscured entrance into the shopping center. There are other locations much closer to my home and work; I'll stick to those. read more

Just don't. Where do I start? I know it's after the holidays and the store has been ravaged but this place was messy. The store was restocked for Valentine's day but somehow they must have lost their brooms and mops in the process. Now, I love target. But this one is just wrong. I got over the mess, finished shopping, but as I left I felt like a good pick-me-up from Starbucks would be nice. Only to walk up and find several flies on the food with in the glass. Several. This is my local Target but I have to say I wasn't very impressed. First off, it's not very easy to get to. Second, and really most important, their selection isn't that great. I'm one of those people who go to Target for just about everything, especially clothes for my kiddo. The kids selection wasn't very big which was disappointing. I also came in for a few bathroom items and even that section seemed to be lacking. I think I will be heading over to Livonia's Target from now on. read more

This Target is awful. I've had cashiers overcharge me on several occasions due to stupid mistakes. Not ringing things up correctly or ringing up the same item multiple times. They're not all that incompetent but the standards for hiring must be pretty low. I've also brought products home only to discover they've been used/had broken seals. So gross. On top of that, the store is poorly stocked and poorly organized. I will absolutely go out of my way to shop at a different location. read more

This Target store, located at Grand River and Middlebelt has the worst Customer Service, meaning their Cashier, that I had ever dealt with! I walked up to the Cashier (who was finishing with a customer and was putting the items in a bag) and I said, "Excuse me.... Are you still open?". I asked her because there was a cart sitting in her lane, right where you put your items on the belt.... She looked at me, ROLLED HER NECK and looked up at her light and back at me without saying a word! I asked her again and SHE did it again! I finally said "oh I guess that means you are open". As she scanned my items, I stood there waiting for her to ask me "how will you be paying.......". We ended up having a staring contest! I wanted to wait to see if I would get any respect as a customer, which I DID NOT, but my sister was waiting for me, so I swipped my credit card and waited again for her to acknowledge me... She did not! At the end of my transaction, she stood there glaring at ME! I made a complaint and the Manager knew exactly who I was talking about! WHY would a company keep that type of person as an employee when they already knew how horrible she was! As for the store and parking lot, I agree with the other review, it is dirty, the merchandise is not neatly displayed, and the parking lot is filthy. I now go out of my way to the Haggerty store in Northville... At least you are greeted with a smile! read more
