I specifically told the cashier I wanted both the salad and potatoes, but nobody explained otherwise. When my order arrived without the salad, I asked about it. Instead of politely acknowledging the misunderstanding and resolving the issue, the employee argued with me and my husband for several minutes. About 10 minutes later, she finally brought the salad to the table and said, "Here's your salad, since you wanted it so badly." This attitude was completely unprofessional. We paid around $60 for breakfast, expecting a pleasant experience. Instead, poor communication and unnecessary arguing ruined our morning. A simple apology and a little courtesy would have resolved everything. Unfortunately, the issue wasn't the salad itself, but the way we were treated. I opted for a breakfast burrito which was made with quality ingredients. The burrito tasted clean, non-greasy and filling. I totally understand why they closed the cafe with the cost of labor and overhead increasing. The new set up is self-service and they still offer a good size dining area and free wifi so you can enjoy a meal or beverage.
