That's honest. A lot of shops would just give you new brakes even if you didn't really need them yet. I think they need a bell or something in the office area so they know when you come in. Last couple of times I was there I had to wait several minutes for someone to notice me standing there. But overall, like I said - a good place to get maintenance done on my car. Tip 1: Phone first! Sometimes they are quite busy. Forget about online scheduling at the Meineke web site. Just call them first and see how busy they are. They'll tell you if they have time that day or the next. It's the best way, just talk to them first. Tip 2: I also bring my car here for emissions testing. Takes about 20 minutes. (Quicker than driving to the nearest dedicated testing site in my case.) You must call the Illinois EPA phone number on your notice to make an appointment. Tip 3: Check the Meineke web site for coupons. Just make sure they aren't expired, like the last time I checked. When he picked it up, our credit card had been charged extra $680.34 for additional services that were not in the estimate and that never had been approved. The mager of the shop did not verify with my husband the amount to be charged when processed the payment. When we questioned about the charge, the manager claimed she had texted to my husband a revised estimate and that he had agreed to it. However, she could not provide any proof in support of her words, and we never received such a message. Despite this fact, the invoice listed the extra work as "approved." It's very sad as we used this shop for a long time in the past and had been always happy with the service. However, the previous owner retired and the new owner Nish Kirk could easaly destroyed the reputation, earned by this business for many years'. Consumers should be very cautious. Charging for work without the client authorization and marking it as "approved" is extremely concerning. We strongly advise anyone using this location to carefully review their estimate and final invoice before paying.

He seems to work on a diverse set of cars from german to japanese & american. UPDATE 12/3/21 Danny is a really great mechanic. I have now been here 3-4 times since my first visit (also with a 2018 Lexus) and he delivers everytime. Both Danny and his coworker really have a passion for cars and are a wealth of knowledge.
