Fallow was so good that in the 3 nights we were in London, we went twice. The 2nd night, we even tried really hard to find a different spot close to the show we were attending, but couldn't find anything that would match the experience we previously had... I'm so glad we went back. We made a reservation through Resy, but for some reason it did not go through. The staff was able to immediately accommodate us despite the technical snafu. We got a seat on the heated patio, which was quite stylish with the plants growing right up against the glass. The drinks were both different and delicious. My personal favorite was the rhubarb and custard spritz. I was hesitant at first because of the yoghurt in a drink, but you would not know by looking at it, and the taste was amazing. The first night I ordered the Sunday roast lamb with fixings. It was a tremendous amount of food, but that didn't stop me from cleaning the plate. The second night our server recommended against the pre show pre-fix menu, and I'm so glad he did. I had the venison I almost ordered the night before and it. was. beyond. The service was top notch both evenings. My only criticism is that some of the heaters stopped working both nights we were there. Even with the blankets they have at the table, the weather was far too chilly to not have the heaters working. We changed tables the second night, and that helped some, but other people were asking about the heaters when they got sat.

My fav meal was Fallow, serving a whole lot of character and flavor. We got the set lunch and it was great way of trying everything they had to offer. Highly recommend coming bc I was amazed by the quality of every single dish from this meal! I loved all the small plates, especially impressed by how none of the ingredients/flavors seem to overlap. One dish paired fennel and walnut together while the crudo used turnip and almond. Sth about the similarity in texture but diff in flavor felt so smart and special My fav was the mushroom parfait, it felt like velvet and had this meaty depth to it. I loved how they highlighted the raw, earthy flavor of mushroom in the most delightful way possible. Excellent large plates! Steak was perfectly pink, holding the right amount of juice and tenderness. And the horseradish side?!?! So smooth with an exciting twist Mussels were unbelievably plump and just exploded with flavor. Probs the best ones I've tasted this year. There is sth so delicate with all their seasoning and sauces. Does such a great job of complimenting everything on the plate. Fallow continues to amaze with their desserts My fav was the white chocolate ice cream. Super smooth with the thyme adding a super interesting layer to the sweetness. The texture was almost mousse-like and honestly such a special bite Every single dish from this lunch felt very distinctive which I LOVE. I appreciated how they combine everything in such great harmony and would love to visit again!! Also bc vibes matter a lot for me, I rly liked how clean and modern the space felt! It kinda gave NYC Meatpacking energy with the spacious industrial interior, and the subtle hints of "forest" in the decor. It def matched the sustainable focus of the restaurant as well as the overall story of the menu. Enjoyed everything about this place!

Upscale place to see and be seen Like pretty much everything in this area, the "upscale" part is kinda a given, with prices that reflect it. And the crowd is very much dressed for the occasion, which, kind you, makes for great people watching! The wine list is good, the cocktails are....ok..., and all in all, it's, well, ....ok...

Very good. A bit pricey by london standards but the fixed price lunch menu (£34 for 3 courses) is a good value. I get the impression it's a restaurant that tries to be inventive but relies a bit on its classics. For instance, the menu had some new dishes when I went at lunch and I asked the server what he'd recommend, and he suggested their classics. Totally fine, but makes me a bit concerned that Fallow wouldn't be worth a revisit. I had the lauded mushroom parfait for my first course and found the parfait itself to be worth every bit of praise, but the bread it was served with was a bit too crusty. Honestly I think it would have lent itself better to a chewier/softer bread. My second dish was the pork, which I found to be just okay frankly. The pork was tender but didn't have a ton of flavour. The crackling it was served with was a bit awkward to eat. The highlight of the dish for me frankly were the greens it was served on top, which were flavourful and tender. The Chelsea tart for dessert was impeccable. Just absolutely delicious. Every bite was a dream come true. Service was pleasant although I did feel like they were upselling a bit much (several offers of alcoholic beverages, which I would have taken them up on had it not been noon on a Wednesday. Asking if I wanted any snacks or additional small plates - is ordering three courses not enough?) Overall, good experience. Definitely worth a visit.

Another Instagram-recommended restaurant, another day of disappointment. I'm beginning to think these people are getting paid to promote these places. To be perfectly honest, I came thinking that the dessert I saw on the Instagram post was a slice of pumpkin pie. Boy, was I wrong. But, more on that tear-jerking moment later. Firstly, if you're thinking of spending a romantic evening in an intimate setting, don't come here. The place is pretty loud and the space can be cramped at certain intervals. Whether you're alone, or one-half of a couple, you still may end up getting seated at the bar. This includes getting constant drafts from the door opening and closing behind you, as well as getting bumped by the harried staff every few minutes. Comfort aside, "Is the food worth what it costs?" By how fancy it looks, you would think so. However, I really wasn't impressed by the blandness of certain dishes, nor the saltiness of others; I couldn't tell what I was tasting most of the time. It's like they just couldn't hit that sweet spot, but decided to charge me for it, anyway. The presentation is nice, though. Now, being that the current season is Autumn, I would have expected them to have some seasonal dessert that made coming here worth it. As mentioned, that slice of pie in the post was not pumpkin; it was a Chelsea Tart with caramelized whey; whatever that means. All I could taste was sugar, and too much of it, to boot. The only thing that allowed me to finish it next to sheer strength of will, was the small dollop of ice cream they serve with it. Was it the worst meal I've ever had? No. But, the only palatable part of my meal was the nice servers who were looking after me. And, even they seemed to be faking it as much as I was.

Meal: Breakfast This place has a great breakfast and the entire meal was great! I had the Royale with cheese and hash browns. I would love to come back here and order the same thing. The table next to me had Malted waffle and that looked absolutely delicious and like a dessert. They were also singing the praises of the meal. Allergy note: I have a severe peanut & crustacean allergy and as of Dec 2023, they were able to handle my allergies and I had no issues. Although I always recommend doing your own due diligence as it relates to allergies as each individual and situation is different.

Great location if you're out for the day to grab a lite bite or a meal. There's many plant based options as well as meaty fare to suit all tastes. I found the service to be well timed and the entrees were well plated and delicious. While the restaurant was busy, it wasn't too loud or had a crowded feeling like some places do. Definitely worth a visit.

It's hard to define what type of cuisine this is, it's substantial, I would say it's a modern fusion. Their food menu is not very big but enough for everyone. Price isn't the cheapest but food taste good and fresh. The design is very modern, high ceiling, big windows, very trendy vibe, service are great, order food is fast and they are always making sure we have water in our glasses. Easy to find someone if we need to add extra. You must try the corn ribs, is very great seasoned. The mussels are really fresh , sauce is strong lemon taste. If you are hungry can go for their beef ribs, they are really big portion and falls off the bone. They have a very good selection of wine as well

Follow me to Fallow where many a dishes will blow you away. I especially enjoyed the mushroom parfait, so creamy...paired perfectly with some bread. I also tried the mussels which was no doubt delicious but I would say comparable to many other places you can get it so that's one item I would skip. Venison tartare was much similar to any other red meat tartare. Pork dish was exquisite. Atmosphere of the restaurant was top notch. Service for the most part met the quality expected for the price you're paying, but still just below comparable high end restaurants in the states. Overall, definitely worth checking out.

Amazing food, impeccable service, and a restaurant that welcomes you in visually. Don't be afraid to order anything, it's all elite.

We absolutely loved Fallow! All the dishes we tried were delightful and it was so fun to sit at the counter watching the chefs in action. My favorite dish of the night was the English tomatoes! Beautifully plated, so fresh and a nice compliment to the heavier dishes we had. The ribeye was a delicious cut of meat cooked and seasoned perfectly. So good and can't wait to come back again! We had one night in London and made reservations for the chef's table so we could see all of the inner workings of the kitchen. And wow! The kitchen staff / chefs were in sync and worked in such harmony. There were constantly orders coming in and they were filling them quickly, and anything that didn't meet standards was not sent out to the diner! Of all the dishes we ordered, the smoked cod head was the most unique and unexpected delight! Tender, smoked fish with their house made sriracha - highly recommend! Following for close second place was the beef ribs. Being from Texas, we know our beef ribs and this is was a great preparation, full of flavor and fell off the bone nicely. If you enjoy cocktails, do not miss the Rhubarb and Custard Spritz - such a refreshing and not too sweet drink that I ordered as a pre-dinner cocktail and ended up ordering a second! If you're in the area, definitely make a reservation and enjoy the food, atmosphere and excellent hospitality Fallow has to offer!

Relaxed atmosphere with great service and food. Party of four shared plates and everyone was happy. Reasonably priced for really good food. We also had the mushroom parfait but forgot to take a photo. We got there when they opened, so food came out timely. When it was time to leave, the restaurant was full and busy. Thank you!

We started with beautifully executed appetizers--light, refined, and plated like art. The scallops were delicate and perfectly seared, the foie gras added that rich, elevated touch, and the beet appetizer was a standout--vibrant, fresh, and layered with flavor. It's rare for a vegetable dish to hold its own at this level, but this one absolutely did. For mains, the highlight was the tomahawk--perfectly cooked, incredibly tender, and full of flavor. The tableside carving was a moment in itself, and the kids were completely impressed--such a memorable touch that elevated the whole experience. The lobster dish was equally indulgent, buttery and balanced without feeling too heavy. Also worth calling out--the lemony pasta was a fantastic vegetarian option. Bright, fresh, and thoughtfully executed, it didn't feel like an afterthought at all since I don't eat meat, this option was great for me- homemade pasta- a winner!!! Dessert was a highlight--creative, elegant, and the perfect ending to a truly special meal. Service was polished and well-paced, making the entire evening feel seamless and celebratory. This is one of those places where the design draws you in, but the food ensures you'll come back. Perfect for a special occasion--and an unforgettable way to celebrate Easter.

Those damn English scones were some of the best I've ever had - clotted cream and jam! Heavenly. Dinner in the Gallery was fun and delish as well. We started with the Korean tofu dumplings + beetroot carpaccio, both were light, perfectly seasoned and lovely starters. Mushroom arancini with carrot ginger coconut broth was well balanced and craveable. Cod brandade was delicious as well but a bit heavy, could only eat half. Pistachio chocolate peanut ganache was the perfect end to a lovely meal. It's a visual spectacle in the best way, and service was lovely as well. I wasn't sure if it could live up to the IG hype but it was fun and delicious!

The restaurant is gorgeous as well but what really makes the entire experience is the staff. From the host to the waitstaff, everyone was beyond lovely and kind. Special shout outs to Jacob from NY and Bella from Vancouver BC that were just the best. We started with the artichokes and radishes, both of which were lovely. We did the mushroom entree and the homemade tahini and pitas were to die for. Last but not least the sticky toffee soft serve was delish - I ate every single bite. We grabbed dinner reservations for 8:00 pm and were seated at a really cute booth by the kitchen pass area. I got the shiso spritz and my husband tried a couple of their mocktails which he enjoyed thoroughly. Foodwise, we got the crispy aubergine tops, sprouting broccoli, tropea onions, potatoes with creme fraiche and the mixed grill mushroom. The two standouts were the aubergine tops and the tropea onions where I was really ready to LICK THE PLATE. The onions with the ricotta were seasoned to perfection with just a bit of spice. The aubergine was breaded and fried to cronchy heaven and I could eat a bucket of these if they were presented to me. The potatoes were good but needed a touch more seasoning; and the broccoli was also a great dish but paled in comparison to the stars. The mixed mushroom main was good but not our favorite as the seasoning blend on them became a tad overwhelming for us as we ate. Dessert wise, we grabbed the miso caramel which was delicious. Service was super friendly and efficient. 10/10 you HAVE to try this place if you are in the area (or you know, trek out a bit if you're not :P) You will not regret this meal, trust me.

My starter, a classic duck terrine, kept the bar high: rich, expertly balanced, and beautifully presented. Then the meal truly took flight. The first main, the scallops, delivered a masterclass in flavor layering. Perfectly fresh and tender, they shimmered in a buttery sauce lifted by XO--comforting yet sophisticated, familiar yet inventive. A clear sign that Wild Honey takes its seafood seriously. But the dish that justified every whisper of Michelin-level praise was the venison. The cut itself was exceptional, but the execution was transcendent. Succulent texture, bold flavor, and a wild, almost ethereal depth--the contrast felt magical. Each bite was delicate yet powerful, like walking through an entire landscape of woodland aromas and game-forward richness in a single mouthful. Truly breathtaking. The signature custard sealed the evening with quiet elegance--silky, balanced, and deeply satisfying. A perfect finale to a Christmas night dinner we won't soon forget. It was perfectly cooked and came with a small cauliflower steak and frisée salad. There was nothing wrong with the sirloin steak, but as a British server in another restaurant once told me: an American should not order steak in a British restaurant. The cheese selection was excellent. Service was mostly fantastic but a letdown at the end. A server asked me I wanted port with the cheese. I said "yes." He put down a class, returned, and poured a glass of Taylor's 10. I remember thinking, this is okay but the 20 would have been nicer. When the bill arrived, I was charged for Taylor 20 instead of 10. It's only a few quid difference but the charge should be correct. I pointed this out to the server. He said he would check with the sommelier. When he returned he said I was served the Taylor 20. I had seen the bottle of 10-year with my own eyes but it seemed needless to argue. It was a disappointment after an otherwise excellent meal. Even if they thought I was wrong, they should have refunded the four or five pound difference off a check that was nearly 300 quid.

Thankfully, a friend tracked one down in Mayfair and we ended up at Gordon Ramsay's Heddon Street Kitchen. The restaurant was busy and trendy, with a lively vibe that still worked well for families, especially with their ice cream bar. Kids eat free on weekdays, which is a nice touch. Unfortunately, the service didn't quite match the energy of the room - our fries were forgotten, and our food took over 45 minutes to arrive, which even the staff acknowledged. What we tried: * Beef Wellington - Beautiful presentation, but it fell apart once we sliced into it. The beef itself wasn't as tender as we were hoping for, especially given the hype and the name on the door. * Tofu Poke Bowl - A rich aioli tied everything together nicely. The cucumbers added a refreshing crunch that kept it closer to the original poke concept. * Sea Bream - Generous portion size, but the fish was overcooked and turned out quite dry. * Kids' Mac and Cheese - Surprisingly excellent. It looked almost soupy at first glance, but the sauce was actually very creamy and cheesy, and the kids liked it enough to ask for seconds. * Kids' Meatball Pasta with Tomato Sauce - The pasta and sauce were solid, but the meatballs were dry, as if they'd been overcooked or left too long. The kids did get to enjoy the ice cream bar and loved being able to pick whatever their wild imaginations desired. Overall, with the long wait times, missed items, and some overcooked dishes, the experience fell short of what I'd expect from a Ramsay restaurant. I wanted to be blown away, especially by the Beef Wellington, but left feeling underwhelmed.
