Circle City Bargains - Weekend ad

Circle City Bargains

Circle City Bargains always shows up on my FB feed. I have always been curious about this business…read morebut feared it was like every other discount store where you have dig through bins. Since that is not my thing, I never ventured over there. Well, this weekend, curiosity got the best of me and headed over there. I walked in there and was blown away. It was like walking into a small friendly family owned grocery store. Everything was neatly stacked in refrigerator cases and on shelves. The items were fresh and all in date Boy, did I grab some bargains as you can see from the ad posted. The blackberries were the large size containers Kroger had half size of these containers on their weekly digital sale for $1.67! The berries were crisp and sweet They also have other grocery items that are a bargain but are not listed in the ad. They also have other bargains from furniture to toys. The staff is very friendly and eager to help to any of your questions. Very good customer service. This is a place if you are every in the area to check out.

It's a very unassuming location so I wasn't sure what to expect when I walked in. The produce is the first section you walk into as you enter so that was good because I didn't have to go searching for the deals. Everything I wanted was still in stock and I found a few extra treats that weren't on the list at great prices(ex. 7.5oz Wholly Guacamole bowls for $1 each-a steal!) I ended up buying blackberries, raspberries, Vidalia onions, zucchini, squash, Cincinnati Reds peanuts, spring mix and arugula and my total was less than $16. The deal is that everything is probably close to their "best by" date but for such a low price I can afford to "use em or lose em". I browsed around the store to see what else they had and I may have to check out some of their clothing next time because it looked like some good deals to be had in that area as well. I'll definitely be back.

I have three young children who are growing like weeds, Shoppers World helps me keep them looking adorable without going broke. In the summer they have a cute selection of sandals for girls and boys. Don't expect them to last too, too long (especially with tons of running around and long days on the playground, etc) but the serve its purpose. The have a great selections for the whole family. Actually, I'm going to stop by and pick up a few basics for my upcoming trip. If you're looking for a few pieces to spruce up your living room, they have furniture too. I like the fact that you can get mobile coupons. All you have to do is send a text right from your smartphone and you'll begin saving even more money right away. Don't sleep on Shopper's World or you'll miss out.

What if she had been asleep with it in her room. They did not care they were rude treated me like a thief, I'm 67 year old cancer patient.

It is full of the whole range of clothing for women as well as shoes and bags and other accessories. It is laid out in sizes and styles (tops versus sweaters etc). It has quite a few racks but seems well spaced, but it might be hard to navigate if you have mobility challenges. There are no steps leading into the store however so that is great! The staff is very friendly and helpful. There are several spacious fitting rooms as well as a bathroom (for those shopping after a coffee break)! I loved their sales items which gave me some great deals, but I was also able to get some fun nicer stuff outfits for friends and pick up some gifts. I've been back a few times and love just browsing. It is a great spot for slightly used but well maintained items. Often too I've come home with brand new things with original tags still attached! I would highly recommend this option for those wanting to save on brand new purchases but get some good options. I felt as if I was helping to prevent clothing waste as well as being a good financial steward! A fun shop!

But as it stands, Indy Urban Flea gets three stars because it is super small and not worth the admission price -- it took us MAYBE 10 minutes to walk the whole thing. We left saying, "Seriously, that's it?" The products that the vendors and artists were selling were very cute and original. We saw everything from handmade leather bags to soap to jewelry to cards to clothing. There was also a selection of curated vintage items. There was also a guy there selling coffee pour overs. All in all, I would have been super excited about this place (and would have considered coming back next month with friends and family) if they didn't charge five bucks just to step inside. The people who put on this flea market should consider doing away with the entrance fee!

The Event is from 10am - 5pm I really enjoyed this event. I appreciated that it wasn't super crowded. I was able to speak with businesses about their products and enjoyed the more intimate setting. Added bonus, it was at the Biltwell which is an interesting building with lovely exposed brick, sliding barn doors, high ceilings with beams, lovely views, beautiful light pours into the space, such a lovely setting for an event. While I was there I purchased a one-of-a-kind gorgeous ring from artist Amy Boyer, I was able to learn about her processes. From Queen Bee Vintage I bought a wallet made from recycled truck tarps. I had a rich delicious pour over of Bourbon Barrel Aged coffee from The Rugged Company. I grabbed a bounty of Frittle from Newfangled Confections. I fell in love with a table made from salvaged wood from furniture artist Jason Kersh (Salvage 3). I met the creator of the Fleabots artist John Pinkerton. In addition to these gems I saw Onyx candles represented and cool items from Stray Cat and My Warped Halo Art. I also discovered some great jewelry pieces made from recycled glass and had my eyes on a beautiful handmade up-cycled leather bag. I only picture this event getting bigger as it's so new to the scene. It would be great to see the integration of all vendors on one floor or mix the vendors between both floors to improve traffic flow. I'm not sure many people were even aware there was food on the first floor. Also additional food vendors or even food trucks would be a wonderful addition.
