While the company was seeking new management the temp manager told us that the lock on our unit was to be cut off & In process of doing so, the locking mechanism was broken. No problem, we were past due & understood. Only allows a space for their lock. The property manager Ashley Medina refused to let me put my lock on the unit after making a payment back in June. I paid the entire balance. Ashley refused because a payment was due 7/1/2022 but it was 6/27/2022. When requested to have the lock fixed after every payment there was no resolution. For almost 6 months regardless of how late or current I was I still have not had access to my unit. Finally after making a payment on Friday, Ashley agreed to unlock my unit. She wasn't open on Saturday she said & I had to call the after hours number. Website says 9-12pm on Saturday. Ashley unlocked my unit, without us present, and left it unattended, which is against policy. Our gate code didn't work so she gave us the property management code, seems like a liability? We arrive at our unit and cannot get the door open. My fiancé has to crawl under the door to see and upon opening our unit it had been TRASHED. Not only that but a significant amount of valuable items and irreplaceable sentimental things had been damaged or stolen. Called Ashley back with no answer for hours. She doesn't consider this an emergency. Long story short, Ashley is an absolutely unprofessional, and incompetent manager. She does not check units, she does not walk the property, she does not do any maintenance work as she made it very clear to us she is the ONLY employee. Also not only are your items not safe and secure, nor is your personal information. The records room door is kicked in, with access for anyone to walk right on in and see everyone's account info. Bathrooms are horrendous, never becleaned, Ashley never empties the trash, Ashley does not document when there has been a break in into a unit, or inform tenants of multiple break ins. she does not take pictures as required by the policy, she doesn't honestly do anything. The cameras have such a short life time on them, which doesn't matter anyways because unless and I quote per property manager Ashley Medina "unless you are dead, dying, the building is on fire or you can't get out the gate, it is not an emergency and do not call her" I can promise you I wouldn't call you for any of those things because she would never answer! The biggest issue we have with this problem is not that our things were stolen, BUT there are no signs of a break in, no damage done to the unit structure, so the ONLY thing that could have happened was that my unit was opened with a key. Ashley has confirmed that her lock was never cut off the unit.... And that she is the ONLY employee, So what happened to my things? Why was I never informed that there was a breach in safety at the facility I store my things? Why wasn't there an email sent, a letter mailed? Nothing? Why was I refused access to my unit even if I was paid up even if it was 3 days or 2 weeks? Why was my lock left unfixed for 6 months? Why was I never called to put my lock on my unit, why did she never follow proper policy? So I have not been able to see the condition of my items against my request even in a non delinquent status. When asked for a manager other than Ashley we were told no, that she would speak with her manager first and if she wanted to call she would. We called, told to kick rocks & then Ashley evicted us from our unit with no valid explanation. When we called the management company back again, we were told Ashley accused us of harassing and following her. Ashley also blames a string of break ins on a "Mexican man that was living in his car in the back lot" well I feel super safe now knowing that you weren't even aware someone else was living on site! This was a last minute thing and the only close company available with units we needed to help our kiddos mom out. NEVER again & I fully intend to get answers as Ashley has dropped the ball. the property manager can open any unit, never send out written notice like she's supposed to, she can delete/never take pictures for your file, she doesn't check locks, she honestly doesn't do anything but become irate with customers when she can't answer a question or doesn't like what you have to say & evicts you when she doesn't want to deal with the issue she created. lastly, property manager Ashley also likes to employ her boyfriend whom owns Plant Management Landscape solutions to harass people, & stand in on conversations with tenants. Instead of calling a supervisor to help she calls her boyfriend. Very unprofessional for her & him as well & is poor representation for Plant Management Landscape solutions while he pretends to intimidate situations he has no business with.
