Do not sleep on this little "hole in the wall" because it's amazing! This brings that classic homemade, family ran business that makes you want to come back. This is by far some of the best menudo I've had here in Arizona. It's extremely clean and the flavor is on point. The green chile burrito is amazing as well. They are extremely friendly and make you feel welcomed. I asked for an extra spicy salsa aside from the ones they offer and I believe they whipped one up for me which was delicious. That is going above and beyond for a customer and those little things are what make a customer come back. They also have michiladas that absolutely slap!! I had mine with a non-alcoholic Heineken but they serve them regular as well. Highly recommend giving this place a try.

The restaurant doesn't look like much from outside seems like a house definitely a hole in the wall restaurant heard about this place by word of mouth.. heard the menudo was amazing so I had to try it for my self and sure did not let down they pack the bowl full of grain and meat then the lightly toasted bread with butter choice of tortilla or bread def pick the bread I come here every Sunday now since I've been here can't get it better anywhere else

Menudo, guacamole tostada, chorizo, eggs, and papas.

This is such a cute restaurant in a neighborhood off 59th and Glendale! Family owned and operated as well. Quick service, friendly staff, and great food! I love beans that are just a bit runnier so you can dip your tortilla or spread on your food. This place has them! Everything is homemade and you can taste the homemade tortillas! They have Albondigas on Saturday and Menudo on Sunday! The chorizo, egg, and potatoes was awesome! However I could have had 3 of the guacamole tostadas.

This restaurant is located in one of the most unique places I've ever been. You will see when you go there but it is worth the search! Also, here is something even trickier....most nights they end up closing by 6pm! Because of our family's schedules we managed to get there around 5:30 and they were happy to have us sit down. This is a pretty cozy spot but it wasn't very busy when we arrived. Service is great and food is super delicious! We will definitely have to come here again but we just have to find the time to get there before they close.

Been craving albodiga soup, man like mom made it. It hit the spot.

I've seen this place when I've delivered in the area and always want to stop by bye had A-day off. After a long night craving craving some kind of soup I went to this place can't wait to come back on the weekend for menudo.

Kind, courteous and helpful are always things that my mother taught me when I was a kid. So when I took my mother here for lunch it was apparent that there was someones good mother present. The staff was so incredibly sweet, helpful and courteous it made up for the average Mexican food the kitchen was sending out. While my Taco Salad ($6.50) was pretty good, it wasn't anything special beyond the fact that it didn't have the usual soggy fried tortilla bowl. Mom had the House Special Nachos ($6.75) which were pretty tasty from what I could tell. Since I'm low carbin' I couldn't fully experience their crispy cheesy goodness. Perhaps in the future I will return when Im having an "off" day to try the delicious looking burrito's and enchilada's. Until then I get to use my own good values that my mother taught me so well.

I have heard about this place a few times, the last being a member of the local fire dept. who happened to come in for lunch just before I was finished. It is well out of the way and I am not sure I would like the neighborhood at night. It seats more than you would think from the outside in 3 rooms. The round corn chips I am sure come from a bag. Both salsas were pretty good, although after a sample of the hot one I stuck with the mild. I had the lunch special 2 chicken and spinach enchiladas that came with rice and beans ($8.95) and a horchata ($1.75). The enchiladas were different and good and the beans and rice were well prepared. As Alexander noted the food is good but not special. The service was very good even though it was Friday lunch and the place was over 1/2 full. It is a definite add to my lunch rotation.

Put your name in at reception and you were taken back usually after a small weight. We didn't have to wait yesterday. The servers are really friendly and checked on a frequently refilling hubs soda a few times without him having to ask. Our waitress also brought us an extra bowl of spicy salsa because she saw we had eaten all of it. Just brought us another basket of hot and chips. On our first visit, I got enchiladas and instead of rice and on the side I decided to choose their potatoes. The potatoes are so delicious. I love them, and I will look forward to these again when we return. Today we ordered: - Coke - Diet Coke (no Coke Zero here) - NACHOS GRANDE - Tortilla chips, cheddar & Monterey Jack cheese, sour cream, guacamole, pico de gallo, jalapeños. Choose seasoned ground beef, slow-roasted chicken or refried beans, or for an extra dollar, substitute fire-grilled steak or chicken fajita. I chose the chicken fajita protein topping. I ordered this for an entrée, but it would be a really good appetizer for 3 to 6 people. It's almost like cheese crisps, halved, with lots of melted cheese and a small amount of meat on each tortilla half. In the center there are toppings. I enjoyed the pickled jalapeños because they weren't extra hot. This hit my comfort food spot. I wasn't able to eat the whole thing so it was so big, but it was exactly what I was looking for. - THE GRANDE COMBINATION - Beef, chicken, cheese enchiladas, cheese chile relleno, tamale, crispy beef taco, guacamole. This combination is HUGE! Even the plate is grande. Absorbed this, and I think his eyes were larger than his stomach. He filled up on the beans and the rice, the chile relleno, and the taco. He got to take three enchiladas and a tamale for dinner the next night. A very nice tasty plate. Complementary chips and three types of salsa are brought to the table. Of the salsas, one is a red sauce that is mild, one is a pineapple tomatillo, and one is a spicier red salsa. The chips are nice and fresh and thin and brought to the table warm. Men's and women's restroom near the entrance for customers.
